ISJF-T and 2w3! I was an ESTJ for the longest time until I met my fiancé. I retook the rest about a year after we met and I discovered RPW and apparently I’ve changed a lot? 😅

So grateful for my SO this week! I'm visiting him for his spring break (may or may not be playing hooky from class for this...) and we put together a PC build so we can play games together while we're apart. He woke me up super sweetly so I would be able to take my online exam on time with all the kisses, cuddles, a cup of coffee. He knows I'm having a hard time dealing with the distance so we're going back to video chatting while we're glued to our desks studying too! I'm really grateful for ho…

For sure, if not the looped straps you can try versagrips to protect your hands a little too. Mine didn’t want me to prep again because I got unhealthily skinny and rebounded back and developed issues with food I’m still trying to get over. That’s so great that he supports you and works out with you! When we’re together we go and do our own thing close to each other and he’ll call me over for a spot sometimes, best of both worlds 😊

Maybe straps would help? If you’re not competing in PL, and even if you were anything higher volume most PLs I know use straps. Def reduces the blisters and rips and calluses. Def a delicate balance haha my traps are already huge from rowing ugh. RIGHT...I’d be doing weigh-ins in my PJs at 8am 😭 Will do! I’m in a LTR! He has mixed feelings about me competing for various reasons (ugh I went offffff in chat about this) but he likes the booty from my accessories so I just mention competing very min…

That's amazing, congrats! I was actually an athlete through high school (lacrosse) and early college (rowing), so I've been in and out of training rooms/gyms since then. I picked up Olympic weightlifting after I had to quit rowing from a back injury and gained a ton of weight. I think your best bet is try to find a non-commercial gym! If you vet your gym correctly, I think it's a much better option than signing up for a personal trainer at a commercial gym (less injury, less about shuttling clie…

Not really, I’m already training in what’s essentially a competition prep cycle but I don’t really want to drive to the other side of the state by myself for a 8am meet if that makes sense. Also because I’m bouncing between that, aesthetic goals, and pole while trying to reduce a little muscle mass, so some of it is def counterproductive. I just want to have fun with it because my old coach put a lot of pressure on me to compete. For sure! I’m wanting to get a Uesaka or Eleiko bar just because o…

Omg haha 😭 so sorry for the confusion! Here’s an example! (mainly bc I’m obsessed with her)

Thank you! Now to decide whether to compete in the State Champs or not 😅 It took a solid year for my hands to stop tearing, I find it highly dependent on the bar I use too! X-endurance bars are not my friend, but the Rogue olympic bar and (surprisingly) the Bella bar are fine! Uesaka bars are okay too. A solid callus shaver (Tweezerman has a good one) and lots of Aquaphor before rest days + hand lotion help too. (Sorry for the long paragraph!) Toy Aussie!

I hit a PR in both my snatch and clean and jerk in the gym yesterday! Tiny field report, my SO and I had a little tiff yesterday but with the help of you ladies I went to sleep with all the sweet words and woke up to a cute text, despite me being the biggest brat yesterday. And he's been so supportive during my trek toward graduation and grad school. Eep! And here's my puppy because puppies make everything better.

Some people are stupidly good at keeping secrets. If he dumped her as soon as he found out, I don’t see that really being a problem, but that’s just me. You seem like you’re having vetting doubts. Is this going to stay in the back of your mind for the duration of this relationship/will this become a problem where you question his judgment for everything he does?

SMV is the only thing that matters. What did she bring in terms of RMV? A partner that’s just pretty isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and doesn’t make for fulfilling LTRs.

If I were you I’d stick to the MK since your skin is showing progress, but if you regress again it might be time to look into a dermatologist for RX options.

People around her probably have a skewed sense of what is and is not healthy.

If it works, you wouldn’t still be battling acne. I think you need to elaborate so we can actually help you, or go on /r/asianbeauty or /r/skincareaddiction to look for affordable options to help you bring your skin back to normal.

Yes! Even elite level lifters can still look feminine. Lifting doesn't make you incredibly bulky or masculine unless you take PEDs or go through long long cycles of eating in a surplus. Granted, you won't have the thin, sleek lines of say, a ballerina, but you're not going to look like a dude. Sorry, I love emphasizing this because I compete too (in WL) and it's really frustrating to see people discourage women from doing it because they'll "look like a dude."

I'm sorry in advance because this will be very blunt. Even if, as you say, most of your weight falls in your hips, thighs, and butt, unless you're at a really low body fat percentage and very muscular, you are quite frankly overweight and do not look anorexic. For reference, here are some women that pop up on body gallery with similar stats. It seems like you need to get a more objective opinion about how you look because those stats don't scream Amazon to me. You seem to be in denial about the …

I totally get it, I’m the same way. It’ll be okay! Just keep trying to be the best version of yourself and don’t forget to indulge in some self care. It’ll occupy your time and be beneficial in the long run 😊 best of luck!

Snaps and texts updating each other on mundane details throughout the day really help. We tend to call each other whenever he's between classes and not too busy/we're driving somewhere just to talk for a bit. We used to fall asleep in a video call together but with the time difference, it's hard to get a good night's sleep that way. When I miss him a lot I usually go to the gym or take a nap! Hobbies, like many have already said, are a great way to occupy your time. I also try to cook and bake t…

We're long distance so we mainly do gifts. I got him a plant since he's been wanting an air purifying one for a while and I'm flying out to visit him next weekend. He got me a blanket since he knows I love soft things and something else that I'll find out about next weekend. We'll probably have a study date and a low-key dinner/movie date night.

He said it first! We’re long distance so it was over the phone. I had felt the same for a while but was scared to say and it 😅

It’s okay, my fiancé knows when something like that bothers me without me having to say anything 😅 How does he respond whenever it happens?

Oh girl I totally understand! Take some girly time when it happens, I find that primping and treating myself to a face mask helps feel better about the situation. Does he know how you feel about it?

I felt the same way too! I would say you should ignore it, trust him (especially because he ignores them too), and keep doing your own thing. He seems to be handling it professionally, and that’s all you can really do beside going to HR in that setting. You really can’t control the behavior of other people, but you can control yourself. Try not to dwell on it, keep busy with your hobbies and self-improvement, and def appreciate the fact that he’s not acknowledging or giving into the advances. Ha…

Yes! Currently engaged to one, he’s a full-time grad student and heading into med school. We had to come to an understanding that him being busy didn’t have any effect on his feelings for me, and that all of this effort now is to secure our future so we can be comfortable. It took time to get used to it; but I had to learn how to stay busy as well and he had to make an effort to be extra efficient with his time so we can spend quality time together. It’s still not ideal, but it’s better than whe…

Being with you may have inspired him to be better overall, both to keep you happy and to be a better person. Just be happy he’s working on himself and don’t get left behind. Keep up with your self-improvement too. It doesn’t seem like he’s doing it as a way to land a better partner so I personally wouldn’t worry too much, just support his efforts and improve yourself with him.

I don't think this seems shallow at all; as many others have said, this is reconstructive. If it makes you happy, I would definitely say go for it. If we're talking about pure elective surgery, my fiance and I actually discuss this quite often. We both believe as long as you're enhancing what you have naturally, it's not excessive, it's safe, and it'll make you genuinely happy or more confident, it's okay.

Definitely, it strengthens your bond and the affection that comes afterward is really nice. The nice little boost of confidence makes the whole day a lot easier too, it in a whole makes me happier and better.

Yes, I can usually get into it quickly because of how high my sex drive is. We’re also pretty synced up when it comes to arousal levels though. Our situation is a little different because we’re temporarily long distance for most of the year so we cherish our time together. When we were together for longer stretches of time and we’re not starved of each other’s company, I satisfy his sexual desires because it makes me feel desired + I’m incredibly eager to please him.
