Not sure how anyone on this sub can relate to him. His father was a corporate raider who went to prison for various SEC violations. Dan is a socialite who pays women to hang in his entourage financed by his father.

Drug usage should be a hard next immediately. Disgusting behavior so you have every right to be grossed out.

She wants to have sex with you but doesn't want to break up with her boyfriend. She was able to bring it up because everyone was intoxicated. Do not do this and pretend this never happened.

I know a few guys like this and they are so difficult to be around. It's definitely insecurity. People like this are also usually fuck ups in other areas of their life so when others get to know them they see the truth.

This x 100. I have a friend who is mediocre (and below mediocre in looks) by all standards but dates a 10. His quality is wealth. His family owns a well known local business. He does not flaunt the wealth at all, but his family name, and the fact that everyone knew that he came from money while in school was all it took. If you came in from out of town and didn't know the back story you would be scratching your head at the couple. The hottest girls I know (9 to 10) don't date the Chads but date …

You are more forced into social things when your young and in school (for the most part) so it is a bit easier. Like school clubs, etc. As you get older you have to put in more effort, however after 30 I found I had a better (and more fulfilling) social life simply because I had more money and was able to become involved in more things, so I met more people who were of a higher quality.

Are STDs a concern? How do you deal with that issue?

Save this post and look back when you are 33 or something. You will laugh at yourself. "Social life in your 30s is having parties that end at 10 PM because everyone wants to get home to their kids or backyard barbecues where people bitch about how shitty their lives are" ROFL.

I was pointing out to the other poster that the Cayman is not a $100k car and affordable on a $60k a year salary as his comment made it seem out of this world.

I'm 10 years older than you and have been in a LTR for 13 years. My 1/3 doesn't look much different than yours just add in 2 x vacations a year and long weekends away on top of that. I don't mind because I enjoying traveling and my LTR pays half of it anyway. Just putting it out there for you, if you groom them this way, this is what they expect you to provide. Once the vacations start it's another expense. Taking a step back if financial stress occurs may negatively impact your relationship wit…

It's a 10 year old Cayman. You can pick one up for mid-$20k. We are not talking about a 911 Turbo here. You are right. This is a huge investment in time and not doable during the week, (M-F) for most men (I work 8am to 6:30 or 7pm everyday). You could probably do this but I would be pretty tired and/or miss a workout session. There is also the monetary aspect. I'm all for paying for dinner, but if you run the numbers, say average dinner + extras per date = $70 x 2 dates per week x 4 dates per mo…

My brother is a male nurse. He makes $85-$90k based on his shifts and the shift differential while only working 3 days a week. He gets more pussy than anyone I've ever met and doesn't even have to attempt to find women because of all the females he works with.

The whole train thing is utterly revolting to me to me too. You should end the relationship.

How do you stop getting angry. This stuff happens at work all the time (not insults) but tense situations and I try and hold frame on the outside but inside I'm angry.

Get married and make more money but save less because you need to support your wife and kids.

I've been using Total Market Index funds and dumping about $1k to $1.5k a month in. How much are you guys investing a month? I'm thinking of branching off into real estate and buying a townhouse to rent out or a condo in a nearby city.

I was a very serious competitive runner in HS (it got me a full ride to a D1 school) and college and I still run to this day. Your life shouldn't be built around women, do what you want and participate in activities that bring value to your life. Having said that... You can lift and run and look really good. You are not going to get super jacked but you will be very defined. Running is an amazing sport and awesome. It's also easy to meet lots of really attractive girls through running at races o…

I have no problem getting or sustaining an erection and am completely healthy, but want to try some viagra/cialis so I can have a have sexathon with my GF for a few hours. I have zero performance anxiety, zero issues, but just want to bang for hours. Is this a mistake to try and take like a 1/4 or 1/2 a pill to achieve this? Will there be any long term effects if I use this once or twice a month?

See your point completely. However, how can a man ever really feel proud when his only accomplishment is marrying a woman who came from money?

I live in conservative area (hint: the south). If you are not married by late 20s you are odd. Most decent men her age are locked down in a LTR/married. He wanted the finer things in life, she wanted the married life. It was a business transaction.

I don't even think he's a boy toy. He's not attractive, very bad style - he's late 30s, white and dresses thuggy. For comparison she is an ivy league chick who is extremely conservative. He does have a delusional sense of confidence though. I think he was just willing to sign on the dotted line. All her friends were engaged/in serious relationships.

I know a guy, mid to late 30s who always wanted the nice things in life but never had the motivation to work for them or improve himself. Instead he married a younger, wealthier woman who was nearing 30 and wanted the whole husband/baby/marriage thing (she got pregnant right after they married). From the outside looking in, it was a just a compromise - she wanted the married life, he wanted things he couldn't afford. After they married they bought a big house (read: she bought), luxury cars, etc…

Also how do I stop thinking about this stuff once I leave work? It's Saturday and this shouldn't be on my mind.

I just read your thread. Sounds very similar. I have a question for you - What do you and your wife do on the weekends? I'm trying to get involved in activities that put me out near more attractive women.

How should I handle opening her up a little more sexually? Doing more things, etc? Things like anal, 3somes are totally and completely off the table and after 10 years things can get a little stale.

Good point. I think my abrasiveness comes partly because of my personality and partly from frustration. I get frustrated because it's like fuck, she should WANT to dress like that for me. I shouldn't have to say these things.

This is one of my problems. I have trouble communicating my feelings without coming off as a dick. I am very straightforward and I think that puts her on the defensive. See you phrased that in a way that works - I would say "Babe you need to dress hotter for me" and she would say "What's wrong with the way I dress now". Or I would see a girl wearing a hot outfit and say "Wow, you should wear something like that" - she would respond like "if you like her go talk to her".

Your post really resonated with me. If I had a plate on the side that I could have sex with occasionally I feel as though I would be more satisfied with her as she is genuinely a great person and fun to around. It's just really tough to go out and see other hotter girls. If we go out to dinner waitresses will openly flirt with me, even bring me free food 'on the house'. She'll make comments like how they are a little too friendly or won't even look at her. I just wish she would try harder as I f…

No, I do not want children and have made that perfectly clear to her throughout our relationship.

Thanks for the replies. I am going to make changes. Not talking on the phone as much about nothing, telling her that when she sees me to dress like she is going out on a date instead of looking casual/not dresses up. I spend lots of cash on dinners at restaurants. I'm thinking about stopping that until things improve. Or maybe just break up.
