My two cents just with the online dating thing is try and go for the date sooner, it should never really get to an endless convo imo. Either she's up to meet or she's not, I don't know how much a text convo will convince her more than your profile already has. Also as someone who has definitely been in the same boat it sounds like the rejections are becoming a bad feedback loop and affecting your mental wellbeing. Maybe you could try not online dating for a few weeks, maybe even a month. Your li…

It may help to find a form of exercise you enjoy. Clbing for me helps build muscle and is fun. You could try out some forms of bodyweight exercise at home as well.

Hah took me a while but I now get what you mean. If you were being sly, nice one :) if you were being self deprecating... Damn.

Here's a simple test, if the roles were reversed would you ever do that to someone? If the answer is no, she doesn't share your values.

Maybe you never meet the right girl. Life's pretty fun without them as well. Try salsa dancing it's loads of fun when you get good at it even if you don't meet any girls through it.

Sounds really interesting, I would love to discuss those things with someone, I also tend to obsess over what people are thinking and why.

Oh man I feel you, I guarantee you though that you give way more of a shit about how your body looks than any potential girl will. Focus on the things that will attract her to you which I'm sure is way more than just your physique. One thing thats helped me with the self racism thing as well is that although im still not a massive fan of how I look I know some girls dig it so It doesn't bother me anymore

The biggest thing I'm realising is really listen. Practice listening. Evaluate any statement you make before you make it. If the only reason your saying it is it will make you sound good, toss it. If it's valuable, it still will be in two seconds time plus you're not going to be interrupting them with what you want to say. No stranger is going to care about how awesome you think you are but if you can make them feel awesome by listening and appreciating them then they're going to want to hang ar…

I struggle with this myself to be honest. The one thing Ive realised recently is actually taking a calm but honest look at myself in my past relationships and figuring out where MY behaviour was the issue goes a long way. For me it was seeking validation that stopped me from really getting to know the other person which came from when I was still a kid. Maybe something like this is weighing down your psyche? Ask yourself perhaps why it is that you actually want a girlfriend or deep emotional bon…

Dude it's ok to be mad about this, you had a lot invested in this relationship and this world view was shattered. In a kind of twisted way though, she did you a favour. If she's dishonest enough to be cheating for 3 months then she's not worth your time in the long run. Also the hell with your friends, if they make you mad, go find new ones :p shouldn't be hard if you've got your shit together like you say you do

this... in google docs you do this by applying a filter to your headings row (button that looks like an antenna). gives little arrows next to date, name whatever... click the little arrows and you'll know what to do...

I had the EXACT same issue. Have you ever checked out http://pickuppodcast.com/ ? The social value episodes were mind blowing for me. They talk about a subtractive personality (removing the fake layers) vs additive (adding fake "alpha" ones) and becoming an "alpha" is different because it's based on the personality of the individual. http://pickuppodcast.com/2009/12/03/episode-103-value-revisited-part-1/ check it out...
