I did to my attorney. He mentioned the judge was an “old bitty” and it was going to be fine. And it was. When my now ex wife walked in with her attorney I could see she had been crying. I asked my attorney what happened and he said “I think reality hit her” and I got everything I wanted and I agreed to some extras that were specific to the kids. I don’t think you are ignorant. Not even close. In fact I think you are asking the question most men ask themselves when they are much older or too late. I think it’s important to be who you are. Not necessarily a “man” per say, just work on figuring out who you are.
