shouldn't they have more say with where the money they work for ends up? considering the exponential increase in federal income tax since its inception, we are on a slippery slope towards people paying more than half of their earnings back into the system, which is a terrifying future to imagine. i would rather not work at all and then get free money from the system than work my ass off so that someone can take most of it and give it away.

the problem is the process has winded up here, and this type of mentality is gaining traction. seeing this type of mentality becoming common in academia and social policy, i wish they never got suffrage. with great power comes great responsibility, and they are taking their power and using it for evil and oppression that they themselves bemoaned a few generations ago.

I guess I'm not a believer in gender equality so it's lost on me. As a mathematics oriented individual, the notion is ludicrous. Genders are not equal. Each has its advantages and disadvantages, generally speaking. If students take a sign like this seriously and literally, the school is failing in so many other more important ways that both this sign and teacher are the least of my concern.

I was gonna say something along those lines. The only definitions I've seen of bigotry always been include an element of hate. The teacher being ignorant of a sensitive students feelings I'd not bigoted, just uncompassionate. I'm a big believer in picking your battles, and this just doesn't seem like one.
