That would be nice. I live in Singapore, the city is the entire country. I'm new to this apprenticeship thing, where is a good place to begin? Internships for art are hard to find, as the industry is slowly failing here as other countries are willing to work for less pay. Alternatively, i can work my ass off over the next year and build a solid portfolio that can get me a job, but that'll only delay my TRP recovery. So yes, the art stuff does hinder me. ah okay. thank you. I'm wondering, is a particular reason you mentioned tattoo art specifically? Like, because it puts you out there to socialize? In terms of getting better at skill, what youve just described doesn't sound much different from the age old path to improvement that every artist has to go through, haha. Im currently switching to fantasy art, although some of it are pin-up-ish still.

hey, thank you for your encouragement. that part about mindset is so true, and it was just what i needed to hear. Even if i can just get my own room at home it would make so much difference (i share rooms with my grandma, then with my mom, and i've never had a room for myself) I haven't considered living on my own before (other than after marriage), and its feels like stepping into an acid pool without protective gear, although i know that what im looking for is on the other side of it. hey, I'd like to know more about this idea. I noticed i have a preconceived idea that the first thing they'll do is tell me to fuck off, be it due to lack of skill, because im struggling with a lot of childhood issues, cant get women etc. I cant understand how this works.
