I know there were some counselors back in the 80s who coached a bunch of children into falsely accusing innocent people of molestation and rape. There's sociopaths in every field. We call the sociopaths in our field "OCS" because they have a habit of forcibly removing kids from good homes and giving them back to bad homes. To verbally attack counselors who are generally paid and trained to be empathetic and supportive does destroy this person's credibility. I've seen Counselors do ill-advised things like be a little analytical and robotic in their methodologies or the opposite, feed into the drama by projecting.
