Taking the redpill is more like Plato's allegory of the cave than the matrix. Watch a short clip on youtube or read the story to understand the concept. The matrix concept is more related to baudrillard's work dealing with the simulation and simulacra. 2	STD statistics are another red-pill truth. JUST MAKE SURE YOU USE PROTECTION ALWAYS. Yeah exaggerated by the pharmaceutical industry to push their product. Its a virus that is non lethal and a blemish that comes when immune system is weak. That said the propaganda got to me and I'm more afraid of herpes than most other stds. Because of how common it is.
