Not only this, but these people have no idea how the law works. A man found innocent of rape does not automatically mean that the accuser gets thrown in jail. Instead, a DA would have to prove that the accuser had motives to lie, fake evidence, all beyond reasonable doubt. This in itself is a high bar, but at least a few convictions would encourage men to keep proof, and discourage women from lying about rape.

Seems to me that might be as much Europe just being "Europe" -- i.e. throwing up barriers to American based companies -- as anything else. I think that would be the way to go, until technology advances a bit more. It's actually a fairly elegant solution for a moving in-home appliance. The main reason I'm still alive, is the realisation that I'm only accountable to myself. I don't have a wife or kids, nobody who relies on me. I fucked up, and in a way not being here would be a relief. But my bad decisions only hurt myself, not others. I have yet to come across a woman who can convince me she has anything to offer me (besides sex, I guess) that I'm not able to get from friends or family. Having zero interest in creating offspring probably helps, because the way I see it, that'd be the only thing I'd need a woman for. If she's not going to add anything to my life anyway, she shouldn't be in it.
