I am a guy and this is exactly how I feel so sorry this happened to you buddy. I was in a relationship for 5 years. I did exactly what she wanted me to be and ended up being told that I don't have aspirations of my own and she doesn't feel for me anything over a text. 5 years of being together and she didn't have the heart to meet me in person to say this.
