This is the first I've heard of this challenge . . . care to share a link, or am I overlooking one in the side bar?

I've considered this for myself about being a bitch . . . I like to think for me that it's a little bit of both (not that I like to think of myself as a bitch, but I think a degree of social anxiety is normal). Not sure where to draw the line, but since there's training wheels out there, I'm going to see if they work for me. I feel that after experiencing social interactions gone well, eventually my confidence will boost and I can remove the training wheels with new conditioning.

Miles Davis was hooked on heroin and sold his brass trumpet for drug money. He then proceeded to play a plastic trumpet better than anyone could play on brass.

Thanks for the head's up. Interesting all these drugs I've never heard of before. At first I felt weird about it, but then I thought . . . well fuck, I DO have social anxiety on what feels like an unreasonable basis, it IS limiting, and that's exactly what these drugs are made for. I'll follow up with what the doc says. Just a primary care physician though, if he sends me to shrink I'm going with the OTC options. I don't have the time, money, or interest in paying someone to listen to me complai…

Great thread, great timing. I have a dr. appointment on Friday to talk to a doctor about my social anxiety with the goal of getting a script. I looking for something that sounds exactly like what you're describing. I'd like to try these suggestions, but since I already have my appointment, does anyone know what the dr. might suggest for me? I've taken xanax in the past (before bed, though . . . more of a sleeping pill). I've also 'partied' on benzos (klonopin, xanax) and have learned how dangero…

Oh yeah I choked up at the end as well, I saw it when it came out on DVD. My girlfriend at the time got it on Netflix back when Netflix was new. So I was both moved and disgusted by the whole move :) I'm not sure what to think about Ryan Gosling, he may just be sticking to a script that keeps 100% of women wanting his cock at all times. He's an actor after all, and takes it all straight to the bank.

Yes, for all we know it could've been a fat neckbeard covered in Dorito crumbs and dried mountain dew who posted both the ad and the response... from his parents' basement, no less. Good sir, you are a genius! How Sherlock Holmes of you. I hadn't considered that perhaps both ad and response came from the same person, but they are both written with the same directness and style, and I could see this being the case. Regardless, I'm convinced that the original 'ad' did in fact come from a fat neckb…

Yep. Wish I could have those years back. However, I'm ecstatic that I'm typing this as an aspiring alpha in monk mode with a good career and unlimited options as opposed to a miserable married man with a fat wife and some kids. The music dreams at least kept me from going down that path.

The other important thing to understand is that women want the end result, not the work in progress. They want the musician on stage, but they don't want to listen to him practice for the hours every day it takes to get good. I struggled for half my life trying to make it as a musician, with a huge part of my motivation to get 'rock star pussy.' Needless to say, I never got there, and wasted years playing guitar in my room and rehearsing with bands instead of simply going out and running game (I…

Awesome. Now that I think about it, I'm going to have to build up some strength before I get into this. I can't imagine how embarrassing it would be for all involved for a 'lift gone wrong' (although I'm assuming there's some tricks to weight distribution and momentum such that you're not 'dead-lifting' all of her body weight). Especially here in Seattle . . . the women aren't small (I wouldn't intend to dance with a fatty anyway but might get stuck with one in class).

Good call! I don't know why I hadn't considered this yet. If a woman feels you swinging her upside down and all around on the dance floor, it seems like you're just a hop, skip, and a jump away from her gargling your balls.

You can't watch it without blowing a gasket once you've taken TRP. Also - Rachel McAdams seems like a total snit no matter what she's in. Almost as cunt-y as Julia Roberts.

I hear ya, I'm trying to find new ways of having fun. Of all things, I'm really getting into dancing. I'm taking hip hop classes now, but signed up for a salsa class after reading in this forum how conducive it is to TRP (the man must lead, the culture is more skills oriented than hotness oriented, i.e. knock HBs off of their pedestals straight away). It's fun, most every woman loves it, and it's great exercise. I would have never guessed I would get into this. It certainly won't hurt my game.

I wasn't surprised when my feminist ex proclaimed while we were dating . . . "I would NEVER take your last name!" in response to seeing a party invitation where a friend addressed us as though we were traditionally married, both of our first names and my last name. I thought to myself, "no problem, because you'll NEVER get a ring from me." Didn't say it out loud though . . . the only reason I hadn't dumped her yet is because we already bought tickets to Mexico and had a trip all planned. Needles…

I captain my ship and anybody that wants on to go where I'm going on my ship, is a mate on the ship not a partner Great way to put it, thanks. I've been very encouraged by your comments. It's crazy how TRP seems so counter-intuitive at first, but over time, after absorbing enough information, observing inter-gender dynamics in life, and revisiting past failed relationships, it's the most logical conclusion you could make.
/r/TheRedPill29/09/15 02:52 AM

95% of all people (at a minimum) don't truly want their problems fixed, nor do they want to fix their problems. The easiest way to get my brother to stop complaining is to offer him a viable solution that makes sense. He never, ever pursues any of these solutions, but he knows that he can't complain about it any more because I already offered him a viable solution and knows I'll call him out on not taking action. Instead, he complains to others who simply absorb it.
/r/TheRedPill28/09/15 11:40 PM

It's comfortable. Change is scary. Some people like to comfort complainers which also creates community. Perhaps a clarification is to say that 'it's familiar'. They're used to it, they know what it feels like. Even though it sucks, they are scared that unknown or something new might suck worse, and it can be uncomfortable to experience something new.

Evidence? Films, songs, pop culture, almost everything around us when it relates to sadness or loneliness. This conditioning and misrepresentation of sadness became essential to create and cultivate the bluepill/orbiting culture. Look no further than the film "The Notebook." It's the most Blue Pill movie ever made. How many times have you heard women reference that they want love "like in the movie The Notebook"? And what does Ryan Gosling's character do? He loses the girl to a rich guy, goes in…

One of the features of the CC is that the riders have to act like they've never heard of it. This TRP truth solved a lot of cognitive dissonance in my mind . . . I would date women who were finally looking to settle down and initially, I was pumped. "I knew building my career would eventually attract women! Fuck you, cool guys in high school, now it's my turn, only I get to keep them!" But during the course of the relationship these women would either unwittingly make comments about their slut y…

Might as well be the guy she goes to for sex, while she does. Yes. No more beta bux. There's nothing special about it, whatsoever. But being the guy that she wants to blast her because she can't help herself because she's so turned on? I don't know if I would call it special but it certainly is compared to being beta bux.
/r/TheRedPill26/09/15 05:28 AM

As long as you weren't a beta, she at least thought you were the shit for some period of time. Good point . . . I should take this more as a badge of honor than as a fuck up. I had my last LTR wrapped around my finger for a while, fucking my brains out, trying every which way to 'tame' me. I got lazy and fat and eventually lost frame, which always stressed me out every time I thought about it. Now I understand this as an extremely common occurrence. Awesome insights. this is the world we inherited We've been dealt a different hand . . . at times it seems like a shittier deal, but I'm just glad I'm not forced to stay together with anyone. People feel they're trapped in marriages now, but divorce is the norm so at least they can get out (with a bleeding butthole, but at least they're out). 50 years ago, divorce was unspeakable.

It's just how humans are, usually lasts about 3 weeks, then your good to go again YMMV . . . for me the initial relief of ending all the BS that you were tolerating that led to the breakup felt better than the grief and dread of the impending breakup, so it was better. But then I realized that I had grown used to consistent pussy without having to hunt for it, and that my hunting skills evaporated . . . kind of like being ripped, than stopping your workouts and having to pick it back up with a f…

This is a great point . . . I won't be able to pull off, nor should I want to, another person's 'flavor' of alpha. I'm not going to be a beefcake Arnold type due to my thin frame, but I will be able to be a ripped, agile, good looking dude who can move his body and attract women with confidence. I'm actually getting much closer, I can see myself getting there sooner rather than later.

But there was a long time there where the "parasite" would want to attach onto random women. I have to also comment on this because it just happened to me an hour ago. I was being chatty with girls at my hip hop dance class (one way I'm working toward reducing social anxiety) and I thought this one woman might enjoy my cock inside her as she was being chatty back. Then I got excited and chattier as the class went on, and of course she drops a reference to her husband (no ring, I always check). M…

having an attraction overlap in women is a character flaw How much guilt have we all felt for just this? Feels like you're cheating on your new woman by simply thinking about another.
/r/TheRedPill25/09/15 04:52 AM

It was never easier to pick up 18-21 year old hot ass girls than when I turned 45. No fucking shit? Wow. Now that I think about it, I just read in The Rational Male about how if you live for a woman, you become that woman. Makes sense. In our gynocentric culture, betas (myself included, although I'm recovering) assimilate the desperation to get married by age 30-something because women are desperate to get married by age 30-something. To quote Boogies Nights, "That's not an MP, that's a YP."

This fills my heart with joy to hear. Along with my ONEitis, I shall shake the "I'm getting too old to game" mentality, too.

Yeah . . . 'she's so brave!' I think almost any time 'bravery' is used to describe a woman, you could simply substitute the word 'reckless' and arrive at the truth.

I refuse to watch this video just like how I refuse to watch 50 Shades of Being A Cunt. I wonder if Lady Gaga would consider it rape if two guys banged her huge nostrils at the same time or if she loves it?

We are so conditioned that it's wrong to say something like this, but in all honesty, a disgusting number of women . . . at least on a relative basis to men . . . have nothing else to offer.

If my ex was a man, she would be considered a total loser (shithole apartment, no money, no career to speak of, shitty car, no skills or hobbies, not smart nor funny), but . . . vagina, ass, and titties. You go girl . . . making it in the big city!
/r/TheRedPill23/09/15 08:17 PM
12

But this doesn't bother me for a while now because: Girls don't really care about sex half as much as guys do. This is a good point. I'd be willing to guess that my angst regarding getting sex is likely trumped by my ex's angst at being over 30 and unmarried.

If we can avoid marrying the bitches, their brainless shopaholic habits will keep them in debt and stocking shelves at Walmart until they're 80. Yep. Their moment in the spotlight is easily more fleeting. Funny how with online dating, I consider women who are 30 to be too old for me (even though I'm 36).

Interesting idea . . . I can see this working. Looking back, the ONEitis is as repetitive and predictable as it gets, so it will happen again, only next time I'll at least have the knowledge to at least recognize it for what it is. So weird how the simple fact that observing how the ONEitis has transferred from woman to woman doesn't immediately cure the latest case. Kind of like when you get irritable when you're hungry . . . you can notice that the reason you're so pissed is directly related t…

I have to say, this fucking kills me. My ex was/is a fucking feminist cunt and I couldn't stand her, but I can't stop obsessing over her (I still cannot get into abundance mentality). I absolutely resent the fact that for her to fuck someone new, all she has to do is go out on the town with a smile on her face, whereas here I am spending months lifting and working and researching. I'm sitting here wishing I was fucking her while she probably has a different dick in her mouth at that very moment.…

On top of that, situations that would have scared the shit out of me before, no longer scare me, even when I've not taken the drug. That's something I've considered . . . as opposed to being used as a crutch, drugs can be used to allow yourself to actually feel what it's like to finally not have crippling anxiety, interact more socially, and learn that you won't get rejected as much as you think you will and when you do it doesn't matter and can't physically hurt you. Once you've felt it, you ca…

I see huge value in meditation (although I rarely do it) but don't agree that working out your body won't change your brain. I emerge from a work out a new man ready to take on the world, and increased confidence is the best change you can make to your brain IMO.

BTW, after posting this message and re-reading it, I realized how ridiculous I can be. I just got back from a dance class where I was chatty and specifically and directly introduced myself to a cute Asian girl. It wasn't game, but it wasn't social anxiety, and my approach was well-received. Imagine that. Social anxiety is the king of over-reactions. Anyway, thanks OP!

My practical tip for some: if you drink too much alcohol this is likely giving you more anxiety problems. Liquid courage comes at a price. Not to mention directly fucking up your game (I've lost out on countless opportunities by slurring my speech or being "that guy", while drinking to be more social in the first place), but I struggle with anxiety and alcohol addiction is without a doubt a contributing factor. Messes up your sleep, too, which further contributes, wash, rinse repeat.

Yes, we need our comfort zones to be VASTLY bigger. The only way to get there is to continuously push the boundaries, and once the zone is a little wider, step right back out and push it even further. It feels weird as a full grown 'successful' man to be sitting here talking about building the courage to simply talk to girls . . . the fear builds on itself and grows into something grotesque and inexcusable . . . embarrassing . . . self perpetuating. And all we're talking about is potentially fac…

I needed to read this. I'm actually an attractive, lively, funny, amusing guy . . . with a paralyzing fear of rejection. In my comfort zone, you would think I'm the life of every party. If I'm out of my comfort zone, I typically lead with something that can be interpreted as an apology for existing, a sign of submission, or a complete lack of confidence. I have overcome this many times and have had (typically blue pill beta bux) success with attractive women, but paralyzing fear remains the defa…

Hey, what a great post, thank you. Lately I've felt bogged down by all of these self improvement initiatives I've taken on, and it's felt like a huge burden. Part of it is that I'm wrapping up my monk mode and really need to just put myself out there and get in the game, but of course I don't feel prepared because I never will (at least not any more than I am right now). There are ways for you to take bitches down off that pedestal. Always assume you are better then them because you are a man. This is so refreshing. I mean, this whole sub is refreshing. After the breakup, she went and got her cats' names tattooed on her arm. Two cats. She doesn't even own them any more, one died and she gave up the other to her aunt because she couldn't take care of it. So not only is she a cunt, she's a total idiot.

I don't any more. She definitely doesn't, and will shout/interrupt with "RUDE!" at any perceived micro aggression. Which is why after the 3rd date, I realized that I'd pump and dump. Thanks buddy. Yeah, I wouldn't and won't give this one the satisfaction of getting to turn me down. Also, she has accused one of her ex boyfriends of raping her (they were together at the time). I never cared to ask her details because I just viewed it as highly dubious that it ever happened, and plus I just viewed it as her baggage, i.e. not my problem. In my circumstance, 100% of her speech and actions were very subtly 'putting me in my place.' Keep in mind, she's a feminist. She was constantly negging me. Very blatantly putting me in the "beta orbiter" box. I've been friends with other exes and even had a long term FWB situation that was better than the relationship itself. But I'd rather put burning hot coals on my eyeballs than give my latest ex the time of day.

I didn't take it that way. After all, he shared about opening up to a woman and getting immediately burned by it (although at least he learned about her fucking other dudes, which I guess he was supposed to assume anyway but at least he found out early on). I could resonate with it. I turned to an ex in an emotional moment of dispair and boy did i regret it. 100% of any alpha cred vanished. And here these women are, these 'sensitive creatures.' Bunch of fucking hoes.

Women want to destroy your manhood to the point that you cannot go on without them. Once that happens, they will leave your ass sitting in the shit box that you created for yourself. My latest ex kept on contacting me and wanting to hang out after the breakup, but was careful to stipulate "ONLY AS FRIENDS," i.e. "you don't get to have sex with me." She wouldn't even drink alcohol for fear that her defenses would come down. I only agreed to this twice, and both times she was a condescending cunt …

It's crazy how common for women to be total losers, with pussy ownership being their only positive quality. My latest ex lives in a shithole apartment because it's all she can afford. If a man lived there, he'd be considered a total loser and would never get laid, but she's a spunky/scrappy city girl who's making it work and everyone's cheering for her! (feminist, btw . . . how I found TRP) She works as a temp at a job where any quality temp immediately gets hired full time, but she calls in sic…

Of all things I've taken on post TRP, is hip hop dance. It's incredibly fun, and once I get decent skills, I'll have a means of displaying higher SMV in a settings frothy with women and alcohol. But I truly am doing it for myself because I like it. And my little head, while remaining quite influential, gets trumped my the larger head, which mainly can't stand being around dumb women. It requires significant hotness for even a modicum of time investment.

I'm grateful for this every day. I notice the most at the company Christmas parties. All of my well-to-do superiors bring their wives, and I always think . . . who brought the old ladies? The men aged well and the women look like a bunch of trannies with caked on make-up, trying to look female. I'll pass! BTW, this ex I speak of was 100% Polish and is aging horribly already despite being 7 years younger than me.

Good way to describe it . . . frosting on the cake. I get supreme pleasure riding up the escalator of increasing SMV, which can only be fully realized post-TRP, and watching my ex gfs ride the escalator down. Only my escalator, for the most part, will continue going up, while theirs ends at a wall on which they will splatter. I especially enjoy it when I see them getting fat. One of my ex gfs looks like a hideous whale now . . . it's really frightening to think of an alternate reality of being m…

It was on a continual downward slope, that started when you permitted yourself the unforgivable luxury of treating a woman like she ain't ain't shit. In my last LTR, both of us talked about this . . . "let's make sure we never let it get 'pissy' . . . once that happens you can never turn back, so let's just be careful and never let that happen!" It was the most antagonistic relationship ever and ended in flames.

Channel it, make it work for you, be aware of what you're doing and the outcome of your effort. If the cost is greater than the benefit, move on to something more beneficial. This is what I'm doing right now. But I failed her shit tests and was beta and she turned into a total cunt, narcissistic and arrogant. AWALT. She just so happened to be above average in a society where average is really, really low.

Right on. I don't see myself staying sober forever, but have known for a long time that I use it as a crutch and an unhealthy escape...as liquid courage for that purpose. I can put on a good show, but secretly assign my self worth as zero. Moderation has never been my strong suit. I've grown a foot taller in 5 days of sobriety. Seems crazy but I just took it too far. But the last thing I'd do is demonize it. Not the substance's fault that I can't self regulate.

Let's not bullshit, women are just not that useful. They study stupid shit, to get stupid jobs, that they barely even show up for. They don't have great skills and can't even cook anymore. 100% true. The only thing of value that they bring to the table is their pussy, and that's it. I always thought it strange how most of the women I've dating can't cook at all. WTF? Yes I'm reading about this in "The Rational Male" . . . you have to firmly establish the frame while continuing to spin plates, after having sampled many women so that you know that you're not 'settling', i.e. YOU are the one choosing, and then continue to maintain the relationship on YOUR terms. She will battle for control, and you need to be able to walk if she steps too far out of line. That's how I understood it at least. Most of the time it starts when they land a long term relationship, they begin to justify they own beta behaviour as "well that's how I naturally am, so... I'm just being myself" and a long list of excuses. Every LTR I've ever been in. Would typically lose frame within the first few months (on average . . . sometimes I never had frame at all). I started with NMMRNG myself. It was hugely beneficial, but I take issue with some of the stuff he says about nice guys not being nice after all. I have felt this way many times and feel the same as you at the moment. I tried nofap and it just felt like shame for having biological urges, with extra shame when you inevitably "relapse." Going nofap all the way feels just as bad as how you feel now. Try this . . . when you feel an urge, watch an extremely explicit movie and get off quickly, as in, less than 2 minutes. Just get it over with. So if you fap 5 times in one day, you'll have wasted no more than 10 minutes.
