Firstly men are the people who fund these dating sites. Registration for men in these sites are expensive for men and cheaper or free for women. Men need to sign-out and close the accounts on these dating sites stating this reason and only if men could do a mass exodus, there will be any change. I wish this was more public information

I am from India working in the US since 2008. Before I explain the Indian legal system as I know it (not an expert), you need to know about why we have govt: bodies to protect women. India has a culture where it is customary for the family of the bride to pay the groom. Though this 'dowry' is illegal by law, people do this as this is a prestigious affair for both these families. 53% false means those were dropped after finding credible evidence to disprove the claims. In cases where there is no solid evidence to prove or disprove these, it is ALWAYS going to be the 'victim's word against the other party. I think the actual number of false rapes are much higher.
