1	Actual evidence that women are treated better than men overall ? I think its because this sub is kinda focused on western portrayals of genders. And at least in my anecdotal experience, women are generally seen as nicer. Usually because they learned to 'smile and wave' to avoid conflict, but probably also because of the halo effect. He can afford it, so they should pay equal relatively to their income. Just look at it this wahy: A millionaire donating a $1000 seems like a lot, but thats just 0,1% of his income. A poor men earning $10.000 a year donating $500 seems like a lot less, but they just donated a full 5% of their income. 1	Women are’t less violent; they're simple weaker I don't think men 'like' the idea of someone getting hurt, but as humans we are always morbidly curious. Thing is, men aren't allowed to show compassion for the victim and thus will try to rationalize what they are seeing by alining it with power and masculinity so they can identify with it.
