I'm just saying all those subs seem reasonable based on the name, it's fine to advocate for men's rights or not want to marry or be "involuntarily celibate". But there is a lot more hating women on those subs than average and it's a shame because stuff like men's rights are an important issue.

It's a bit similar r/mensrights in the sense that it doesn't sound like a bad idea and there are few genuine posts there but the rest is weird incel stuff

Lol that's not a strawman dude, that may be a crap analogy but a strawman is when you make your opponents argument up so it's easier to take down. and no, there are 2016 human right abuses, mainly right to equality.

Jesus Christ dude - if you don't like the company, don't give then your money/custom, it's a very simple concept. But apparently, every human has human rights isn't a simple concept. If the government has to regulate every aspect of custom then you might as well nationalise every business. Damn government enforcing their laws! They want police? We might as well be slaves! there isn't the situation that no women can get hair cuts you retard, so your call of discrimination is absolutely patently f…

Ignoring the fact that last comment you said it was never used for discrimination, I think you're stating your opinion as fact a bit. are supposed to have the right to refuse service to whoever they want Who says that? There is no objective right and wrong, if you think the government is taking too much control by protecting human rights then I Wonder why we even made human rights in the first place. Business owners have the right to refuse service I'm pretty sure they can't do it on grounds of …

free market isn't, and has never been, an excuse or reasoning for discrimination I think it has though, there's been plenty of cases of gay couples refused a wedding cake or whatever. There's normally one or two people who say "free market" or "just go to a bakery that does serve you".

oh I thought those black people could go to other shops since it's a free market /s I'm not saying that this is discrimination, they specialise men's styles whatever. Just "free market" shouldn't be used as a reason IMO since it can be used to justify discrimination.
/r/MensRights07/09/16 09:35 PM

It's not about "well, decades ago" it's about "free market" being used in the past to justify things that the majority of society now view as unacceptable.

I am told that feminists care about the rights of men, so I can only assume that all of you will be horrified at the things I am going to tell you today, and that this won't be deleted. I expect, that in your shock and horror, you will be ever so kind and complimentary to me for bringing you this horrific news. So you think we should be able to tatoo our babies? Should we also be able to have sex with our babies because our babies can't choose? Also vacinnes don't cause permenant, unreversable effects.

Yes too many people think babies can't make informed decisions /s
/r/MensRights28/08/16 09:33 PM

The issue isn't whether you're happy or not, the issue is that babies aren't given a choice. Many people are happy with their tattoos. Is it reasonable to tattoo a baby who's only a few days old? /u/Korvar

/r/MensRights22/08/16 12:13 AM

Yeah that's why the punishment for murder and all crimes are the same in every country because morals are objective. So tell me objective law maker, what should the punishment be for theft? If a country has a different law than what you say they are wrong and that's a fact because morals are objective. Should we have the death penalty? Never fear super objective law maker is here to decide, what should the age of consent be? IDK let's ask super perfect objective law maker, oh wait you can't disc…

So you mean to say that it's a fact that killing is wrong? That's like saying it's a fact that red is the best color or it's a fact that The Simpsons is the best tv show or it's a fact gta 5 is the best game.
/r/MensRights21/08/16 06:31 PM
1

Well I mean Hitler didn't think it wasn't wrong, there's one person.
/r/MensRights21/08/16 06:16 PM
1

It is a very popular opinion that mass killing is wrong, doesn't mean it's a fact.
/r/MensRights21/08/16 03:38 PM
1

so if you say age of consent laws are different around the world you're a pedo? I assume that means talking about rape laws makes you a rapist and talking about theft laws makes you a theif etc.
/r/MensRights21/08/16 03:31 PM
1

Yep. The same rights that all humans have across the planet. They are born with them. Now can those rights be curtailed by evil governments etc? Sure. So the rights the people actually have are different based on country OK. So you want to have sex with 10 year old children. We get it — no need to keep making excuses! Again the lowest age of consent is 12 in the Phillapeans, if you want to go over there and tell them theif morals are wrong then feel free to. Morals can't be right or wrong though…

I think if they cover female genital mutilation in a negative light where it's legal then that's sexism but if it's illegal and they do it in a negative light then I think that's ok, it's hard to make a judgement because normally there are a lot of other factors than gender.
/r/MensRights20/08/16 01:18 PM
1

Human rights are universal; they don't differ between cultures, countries or cultures. You are not "gifted" your rights, you are born with them. So you're telling me that people in Saudi Arabia have the same rights as those in USA? They treat women like second class citizens, people can be imprisoned without knowing what crime they "commited" and they kill anyone who's gay. Are you trying to tell me that Saudi Arabians have the same rights as Americans because they don't. And you might consider …
/r/MensRights20/08/16 12:06 PM
1

Basic human rights do not differ across cultures. Yes they do, Saudi Arabia has one of the worst human rights record of any country but that's accepted by the majority of the country. Would you go on holiday to a country that legally allows sex with 10 year old girls so you could fuck children Not really sure how that's relevant but no because I'd want to do it with someone a similar age to me. Side note: The lowest age of consent I could find with a quick google search was 12 in the Philippines
/r/MensRights20/08/16 11:47 AM
1

Is it illegal in the places where it's practised in though? Or do the majority of the country see it as tradition? If it's the latter then you have a point.
/r/MensRights20/08/16 11:16 AM
1

Well that's like saying it's sexist if a boy in Kazakstan gets paid less than a girl in the UK for the same job, there's differences between countries and cultures.
/r/MensRights20/08/16 11:13 AM
1

oh do you mind linking me to the Turkish girls/Kenyan boys article?
/r/MensRights19/08/16 11:57 PM
1

I feel like the key dofference here is the local view on it, in Turkey it is a tradition and is celebrated by the Turkish people. In Kenya it is illegal and so naturally the article gives it a more negative tone because most people don't agree with criminals. I'd imagine the article would be similar if it was boys in Kenya or girls in Turkey.
/r/MensRights19/08/16 11:27 PM
1

What are they gonna do? Go over there and tell the children to stop smiling? If there was a female genital mutilation tradition somewhere then yes, I could imagine it. Tradition is weird when you don't partake in it yourself.
/r/MensRights19/08/16 10:51 PM
1

Mind linking the female genital mutilation one?
/r/MensRights19/08/16 06:46 PM

Excuse me but where does it say it celebrates it? To me it's being as unbiased as possible and just showing the facts as well as some quotes from other people.

Now his name is in the same sentance as the word rape, that's not right at all.
/r/MensRights18/08/16 12:16 AM

I hate when they call sexism because only 2% of rape claims are proven beyond reasonable doubt to be true, sorry you live in a society where we are innocent until proven guilty.

Rio has high crime rates form what I've heard, I don't think it's too ridicolous to think that this was implemented to reduce sexual assault. Yes men also get assualted but the rate is higher for women.
/r/MensRights12/08/16 07:22 PM
2

This happened to you once in a country which I'm assuming doesn't have crime rates as high as Rio, I'm just saying that if it happens to them much more often then maybe they do need something like this.
/r/MensRights12/08/16 07:18 PM
6

Well yeah that's what the focus is, if an article says that Albert Einstein was a genius then he's not being reduced to his intelligence it's just the focus of the article. Would you want an autobiography of the 20 women or just the main focus which in this case is their looks?
/r/MensRights11/08/16 02:17 PM
6

Also it helps if you avoid making all men either morons or assholes
/r/MensRights11/08/16 02:05 PM

Porn is voluntary though
/r/MensRights10/08/16 08:48 AM

Well um actually only 8% have been proven false and 2% have been proven true leaving the other 90% without enough evidence.
/r/MensRights09/08/16 08:51 PM

I struggle to see how you got "rape doesn't happen" from "people should be innoecent until proven guilty"
/r/MensRights09/08/16 08:39 AM

There are women who get raped several times a day for real and this woman is flat out insulting them by completely misusing the word.
/r/MensRights07/08/16 03:25 PM

Maybe it's because athletic guys is more attrcative than athletic girls, sure there are probably some atractive females there but how attractive a female is comes down to genetics a lot more than it does for guys.
/r/MensRights06/08/16 09:35 PM

Surveys like that are often wrong because lots of people who haven't been assaulted leave it unanswered but those who have are much more likely to answer. Here's something I found online. “The estimated 19% sexual assault rate among college women is based on a survey at two large four-year universities, which might not accurately reflect our nation’s colleges overall. In addition, the survey had a large non-response rate, with the clear possibility that those who had been victimized were more ap…

/r/MensRights22/07/16 09:38 AM

I never understand when people say that something is "all male". For a start men and women are biologically different so they have different interests and different abilities, chances are that men just happen to be more suited for the job and surely hiring someone just because they want gender diversity is worse than hiring somebody who is more qualified. Isn't the point of feminism to give women the choice to work in these fields if they want to?
/r/MensRights21/07/16 11:58 AM

Somebody should at least do a social experiment, that way it wouldn't just be assumptions and guesses.

The smiley faces and that are gender neutral but emojis like this have a gender.

I think he was just saying that he will be surprised by it, from the the original comment it sounded like he didn't know it was rape. It just doesn't seem as malicious as you're making it out to be IMO.

A Loose Women spokesman said Mr Wheeler's appearance on the show was not limited to him wearing no top. Oh glad to hear it wasn't all sexism /s

Seems like they just wanted more women emojis, I don't know how many men emojis are but from the way they worded it it seems like there is more men than women emojis. Yeah sure either way this isn't a big deal and I'm probably missing something but might as well just leave my opinion here.
/r/MensRights18/07/16 12:21 AM

I've noticed a change in attitude towards certain issues, lot's of people are more skeptical of rape accusations and aren't immediatly assuming that they are guilty. Sure progress is slow, but that's better than none at all.
/r/MensRights03/07/16 11:59 PM

It just starts by saying that all guys want to just fuck women but then goes on saying that we should have more respect for them, here's an idea, start giving men some respect by not assuming we only care about sex.
/r/MensRights03/07/16 11:54 PM
2

Even if this isn't helping anything, it still raises awareness. It probably is helping though, if somebody sees something here and then has a similar experience in their life then that might encourage them to stand up for themselves. Sure a community of people on the Internet might not be able to do much but it might inspire some people.
/r/MensRights03/07/16 11:50 PM

If I'm honest I found it kind of insulting that some people think that it was sexism, it was like they just refused to accept that women could not possibly make a bad movie.

It really should be the standard
/r/MensRights23/06/16 10:42 AM

I think this is just saying that false rape accusations are a serious problem now.
/r/MensRights22/06/16 08:49 AM

I don't know this person but could it just be a joke? I don't think they would have used the word "suddenly" if they were being serious. At least, I hope she's joking.
/r/MensRights22/06/16 08:45 AM

What's that even meant to mean? Women don't rape? Women can't rape? So confusing.
/r/MensRights22/06/16 07:03 AM

Why even lie about that? Surely they should be looking at the serious issue that actually exist if they wanted equality, but most of them don't anymore.

That's...got nothing to do with what I said, they clearly weren't talking about murder, don't change the subject. FWIW I think the man should have a decison in his potential child, the closest to the woman's decision.
/r/MensRights14/06/16 05:25 PM

He obviously meant what that fetus could turn into, it could become a child in the future and that's why he's concerned that the potential father wouldn't even be able to know he could have had a child.
/r/MensRights14/06/16 05:03 PM
