Fantastic idea! What exactly would be a good introduction line? “Hello! There is a sale on that book you are looking at personally signed with my number inside. Perhaps we can chat over coffee?” Option B, just take same book and write phone number in it and give it to her. Now she has a free book that im committed to buy. Maybe include a starbucks card too Seems like a one shot deal per visit. It would be kind of weird (and expensive) trying this on several women if I was rejected.

Sounds like a combination of perimenopause and trauma response. Has she been seeing a therapist lately? They can inspire a spouse to rock the boat and “feel heard”.

Your A game will need to be on 24/7/365 to soothe their constant fear of abandonment due to childhood trauma. It is mentally, emotion…

Kind of like a corporate sales vendor buying free lunch or dinner to get one’s attention and moment of their time. Eventually there is the expectation of reciprocation and equality. I only know of one manager who played the game with a vendor to get free meals with no sale until they eventually stopped trying.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
