The surnames of the accused are usually shortened to one letter, they either obscure their face from photographers or their faces are pixelated/the eyes overlayed with black bars. In Germany, the age of consent is 14. In the UK it's 16. No, I don't find those punishments to be immoral. Punishments that don't kill the offender give them the opportunity to do better in the future. Executing them, even after a fair trial, doesn't. The government has the monopoly on violence, yet I want it to use it with restraint and as little as possible, as much as it has to.
