| 3 | My boyfriend is a disabled vet sent to jail for being behind on child support pmts while his ex-wife's husband fails court ordered drug test for pot and coke. The court documents very clearly state that he is not indigent. He's just a deadbeat. | /r/MensRights | 19/12/13 10:16 PM |
| 7 | My boyfriend is a disabled vet sent to jail for being behind on child support pmts while his ex-wife's husband fails court ordered drug test for pot and coke.I cannot fathom how any of this would make you decide that you shouldn't pay your $255/m in child support. That's why you were held in contempt. Because you personally disagreed with the court order and chose to not follow it. Again and again. | /r/MensRights | 19/12/13 10:15 PM |
| 1 | The 'beyond a reasonable doubt' standard of proof is the reason for the rape problem? Seriously?Am looking for this study. I cannot find it either a mention of it or the study itself. | /r/MensRights | 20/11/12 10:53 PM |
| 1 | The 'beyond a reasonable doubt' standard of proof is the reason for the rape problem? Seriously?I really can't imagine that 400% figure having any basis whatsoever. Please cite it if this is not the case. | /r/MensRights | 20/11/12 12:35 PM |
| 1 | The 'beyond a reasonable doubt' standard of proof is the reason for the rape problem? Seriously?Do you have sources to that, so that next time I'm not just spouting opinion? | /r/MensRights | 19/11/12 04:41 PM |
| 12 | The 'beyond a reasonable doubt' standard of proof is the reason for the rape problem? Seriously?I think most "false rape convictions" can be traced to larger due process issues. As I understand it, the majority of rape convictions (legitimate or otherwise) are due to self-incrimination. I don't have a source at hand, but please refute this if it isn't the case. And this problem of self-incrimination at the hands of police is widespread across different criminal charges and not particularly defined nor limited to rape. Certainly, the 'beyond a reasonable doubt' standard is a very good thing… | /r/MensRights | 19/11/12 04:16 PM |

| -1 | xpost from /r/askreddit- What should my friend do to protect himself after what happened to him last night after a party?(story inside..pretty fucked up story)Fixed to erase misleading/poor advice: Need more info. Particularly: What state did this happen in? Were state lines crossed? I'd also talk to a lawyer and consider getting a restraining order against mom. After all, she's already done what amounts to a home invasion. Maybe even get a small handgun for protection and seek training and a CWP. | /r/MensRights | 04/08/11 07:04 PM |
| 1 | xpost from /r/askreddit- What should my friend do to protect himself after what happened to him last night after a party?(story inside..pretty fucked up story)Eating popcorn and waiting for the bad advice to come flowing! Edit: He should get a lawyer now. Expect to spend a few thousand. Obviously much more if charges are actually brought. Jail really sucks though, and the facts as stated are pretty damning. | /r/MensRights | 04/08/11 06:59 PM |

| 1 | /r/feminisms: "You can't support both men's and women's rights."Right there with you. I absolutely don't think that Mens Rights must come at a cost to female rights. And vice versa. Unfortunately, I think each movement feels like it rivals the other one. In the end, both are weaker as a result. | /r/MensRights | 01/05/11 08:02 PM |
| 1 | A man's suicide risk likely goes up significantly during a divorce. One example: "A friend whom i know for 17yrs ended his life recently because his wife of 8yrs decided to file for a divorce. The reason, his wife claimed she was earning more than him"Sorry, but you're completely missing the point. A Men's Rights would be how society judges him and his role in his household -- or issues deriving from such a societal view. This is a poor example of Men's Rights for two main reasons. The first, is that he was in fact a provider for his family, and thus, embracing a traditionally male role. The divorce was because his wife felt he was doing a poor job of filling this role. Secondly, that his wife divorced him over money was an issue dealing with… | /r/MensRights | 23/04/11 06:49 PM |

One example: "A friend whom i know for 17yrs ended his life recently because his wife of 8yrs decided to file for a divorce. The reason, his wife claimed she was earning more than him"I believe I should have been more specific in my critique. This is not a Men's Rights issue because abcd, rather than simply stating my conclusion. | /r/MensRights | 19/04/11 02:32 PM |

One example: "A friend whom i know for 17yrs ended his life recently because his wife of 8yrs decided to file for a divorce. The reason, his wife claimed she was earning more than him"Respectfully disagree. We've got lots of content -- with the majority of it not being relevant. That makes screening all the more important. | /r/MensRights | 19/04/11 02:01 PM |

One example: "A friend whom i know for 17yrs ended his life recently because his wife of 8yrs decided to file for a divorce. The reason, his wife claimed she was earning more than him"The types of articles that should be here, are those that identify issues or places where there's a cogent difference between the treatment of men and of women. In my opinion, the most pertinent Men's Rights issue is that of forced masculinity. Men are expected by society to embrace this role of breadwinner/knight, and looked down upon if they do not, for no other reason than their gender. I come on here and see inane articles, feminism bashing, and, to be honest, stuff that is just completely n… | /r/MensRights | 19/04/11 12:16 PM |

One example: "A friend whom i know for 17yrs ended his life recently because his wife of 8yrs decided to file for a divorce. The reason, his wife claimed she was earning more than him"And again, I agree... but at this point, I think we've excluded the possibility that this is a Men's Rights issue. | /r/MensRights | 18/04/11 02:49 PM |

One example: "A friend whom i know for 17yrs ended his life recently because his wife of 8yrs decided to file for a divorce. The reason, his wife claimed she was earning more than him"I agree with each thing you wrote. Yet I still don't see how this is a Men's Rights issue unless those are things that are mandated for women. (In which case, yes, I agree, it would be) | /r/MensRights | 18/04/11 02:38 PM |
