who cares? If you don't want to talk about the social ramifications of these things, then you can leave this subreddit.

we have a culture in the US that clearly enables this. Yes, the culture of single-motherhood. Look at what all of the shooters have in common.

Red-pilling has more to do with the realization that gender roles are more genetically ingrained than socially determined, then one looks around to see how society manages this fact.

I thought women had higher emotional intelligence than men. I guess there are too many men out there who are evil masterminds.

Weird that women choose to marry such abusive people.

Apparently women consider these weak men to be husband-material.

I'm sorry that your father beat you and that your mother made such a bad choice of husband. I wish only responsible parents had kids.

This is preferable to incentivizing single-motherhood. A woman has to make a long-term decision about a man to get married, which is good preparation for making a long term decision about having a child. I'd rather that a woman be in an bad marriage than that a child be born to a bad(single) parent. In the former, the adult who makes the poor decision(getting married to a bad person) bears the consequences. In the latter, the child bears the consequences of the adult's poor decision.

Sometimes people can't afford birth control This is rarely the case. Condoms are cheap. This is a bad excuse.

Beauty standards vary slightly, therefore.. what? there are no standards of beauty? Men aren't attracted to youth and fertility signals?

There is a world of possibilities between sometimes and all the time, but I see this has not deterred you from telling me what I think. A man will not be repulsed by a woman he finds attractive if it is known that she cries often. He might be miserable in a relationship with her or he might not, but in either case there is no lack of attraction.

Most men will not be any less attracted to a women if she often cries. Men's attraction is visual. A man will not be repulsed by a woman if it is known that she cries alot. I personally find constant crying to be reflective of a childish mind so am repulsed.

Women naturally want strong, stable provider/protector men whom they can control. It's like asking me to prove that men naturally want young beautiful women.

They might be okay with it sometimes if he compensates in other ways. But the key word is "sometimes". If they had a choice, they would want their bfs to cry less often rather than more often, especially if the crying is public and uncontrollable. I don't think it is a good idea to enforce some social programme to try to change people's natures.

Men are either neutral to crying women or want to help them. Women find crying men unattractive. Men don't care about what women can tolerate; they care about what women find attractive. If a man is unattractive to women, he will not care if he is tolerated by them.

You can't teach attraction to crying men, not even through propaganda.

We can either couple the social norms conducive to a healthy society to the norms put onto individuals or we can keep them separate and witness the discord that results. As it stands, every first-world country is on track to becoming an idiocracy/theocracy where only the uneducated/super-religious have kids. Maybe we should just let nature take its course and be spectators to the social upheaval. I am ambivalent.

At a personal level, it is not wrong. At a societal level, it is potentially catastrophic.

And therefore will not reproduce. A society is defined by the members of each generation who choose to have kids. Any social strategy that doesn't involve having a family is one that will fail in the long-term if not in the short-term.

How can it be both seeped into our culture and not mainstream? Are you talking about behavior that can be interpreted through the red lens, or people actually making a red interpretation? I agree with the former but disagree with the latter in terms of current prevalence.

Blue men are quite resistant to that mindset. Men generally care more about sex than solidarity with other men, so blue men won't be phased by how red men conduct themselves.

How do you see this happening? Most men are still a variant of blue. Men are adaptable in regards to their survival, which doesn't necessarily translate to adaptability in approaches to sex/relationships, especially when a change in one's entire world-view is required.

Video games are "low-status" because they provide an artificial goal for people(mostly men) to spend their time pursuing, sometimes to the extent of treating it as a full-time job or more. The stigma that comes with games is that they are shackles on a person's potential in society and in relationships, not that they are cost-effective. Other forms of entertainment are relatively or entirely passive comparedly, they do not sap the same type of potential from people.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
