Look, I'm sorry that I don't want to bring kids into this screwed up world. But hey, you want to have kids? Fine, you win! Let's have a fucking kid!

You're only 21. You're probably going to change your mind. Trust me. Having kids is totally alpha.

One thing about him really bothered me... It was bizarre. He was a really good looking guy... all the girls loved him. He could have had any girl he wanted (well, he pretty much did). But the only serious relationship he had was with this girl that was obese. And she wasn't even a good person... she was very domineering and would start fistfights for the most inane reason. I saw her throw a tantrum at a party once. Me and him were (sort of) friends. He told me that he liked domineering women, an…

Ah, I don't think it's that much of a double standard. I turned down a guy once that I was insanely attracted to because he slept with too many women. It was a turn off for me. I don't regret it.

I'm sorry this happened to you. There are good women out there. Try picking up chicks in a library, or at chess club. Trust me.

Did you know that escorts actually have a lower rate of STIs than the general population? They're more careful than the average girl at the bar.

Survival isn't really a "choice."

nobody will listen to you That's why. I think it's hilarious. Srsly, I'm waiting for my program to compile and I'm giggling to myself in my cubicle. Comments like mine show how everyone in this reddit lives in their own little she-man-woman-hater bubble selectively ignoring criticism. So far, I've gotten lots of inquiries into my personal situation i.e. redditors digging for some irrelevant factoid to justify their comments. But strangely, no one has tried to answer my question (Is it feminism o…

No. I never spoke to him. I met him once when I was very young, like 3 years old. My mom told me we were meeting a "friend" but later on I realized it was my dad. I remember his expression. The whole time he looked quite disinterested, he couldn't quite look me me in the eye.

I never thought of that. However, my dad lives in poverty in a small village in Mexico (no joke). He and his family clean some rich person's house and in exchange, they get to live there for free. My mom said she didn't pursue child support because they didn't have any money - which I think is true because if you think about, there really isn't any way to get money from him.

The research found that Millennials, many of whom are the children of divorce and single-parenthood themselves DING DING DING! I am a 23 year old woman working as a database programmer(currently finishing up my degree in Comp Sci to become a software engineer). I always have and always will put my career first. WHY? Because my father left my family when I was born. Just poof, disappeared. No child support, no nothing. My mom had to get a job to provide for us. Because of this, I grew up thinking…

I agree. This is something that I've tried to explain to other people but was simply met with derision. As someone who has grown up without a father and has Bipolar Disorder (which magnifies that "emotional instability" by a million), I find solace in the thought that I am simply just the unfortunate product of genes that are unattractive to the opposite sex, and that it is for the good of the population that I do not reproduce.... that my situation is just due to biology and it's nothing to be …

So, should a women who grew up without a father lie about her circumstances in order to secure a high quality male? i.e. Should she say her father died halfway through her life, instead of telling the truth that he was never there? Another interesting point... Should she be entitled to lie in order to ensure her survival? According to evolutionary biology, isn't it only natural that she do whatever it takes to survive?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
