If your pics are good enough and your chat is original/funny enough, you can take the initial chat to beyond 15-20 messages each, which isn't actually much if you're honestly wanting to know more about each other. The more initial exchange, the less likely she'll flake. I can't believe that guys suggest a coffee/drink at 5-6 messages. See whether you can last to 15 each, then drop the offer smoothly into the conversation and keep talking until you actually meet.

If you are a natural and unavoidable bum, there's just a simple added extra step: break through the mass societal indoctrination which says that women should be most interested in the subset of males which spend the best hours and days of their lives earning a good wage.
