1	This article about a pedophile who raped 2 toddlers, one boy and one girl, refers to the girl’s rape as rape, and the boy’s as sexual assault. They misspelled rape, but that’s what it meant. Because males can’t be raped. Source in comments. there is a legal definition of rape. if there wasn’t penetration it can’t legally be defined as rape, thus the label of sexual assault. this article doesn’t say that he was raped, so it’s pretty easily assumed that he was not penetrated, making it sexual assault (not any less traumatizing and a tragic thing for any child, male or female, to experience). they clarified the difference to avoid being sued for slander. same reason they sometimes put “allegedly” in headlines before the accused is cha…	/r/MensRights	19/12/21 08:57 AM
