And you believe this is advantageous to women?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/17 08:11 AM

I'm sorry, getting matches online proves what exactly?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/17 07:36 AM

very often Care to put a number to it? And you think as long as a woman is not fat she gets propositioned for sex "very often" and this is an advantage? Do you think a not fat man is also average but doesn't get attention from women unless he offers something else not related to looks and this is disadvantageous to him?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/17 04:34 AM

How often do you think average looking girls get hit on in a week? And to make things totally clear, what do you consider as a 5 and an 8 (for both a man and a woman)?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/17 04:18 AM

My point still stands that people usually change over periods of time.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 07:21 PM
1

Then why'd you fall out of practice?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 07:12 PM
1

It's always easy to judge people when you're not personally in their situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 07:08 PM
1

So you stopped practicing red pill tactics yet that doesn't count as a change to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 07:05 PM
1

Sure but after about 6 months and one heated argument usually people will just give the benefit of the doubt because it's never happened before and there's tons of good times to make that one bad incident just seem out of the ordinary.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 07:01 PM
2

Exactly, you changed then changed again.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 06:46 PM
1

It's both, what do you not understand? They put up a kind front and pretend they unconditionally care about these women. Then a few months in they'll start it off by maybe getting into an argument about something inconsequential but they won't treat it that way. They'll probably say some hurtful things then later on pretend to apologize about it and lavish her with more affection and kind deeds. She'll write off the incident. This will happen again maybe in a few more weeks or months but he'll d…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 06:45 PM
1

You can't guarantee that. You probably weren't red pill 5 years ago but you changed your values to follow that mindset. You don't know if you'll feel the same way in a few years or decades. Only time will tell.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 06:28 PM
1

If you become fully dependent on someone within months of being with them, youre making a huge mistake. That's how Stockholm syndrome works. It's like you understand but are refusing to accept it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 06:23 PM
1

That's still ridiculous. Are you the same as you were 5 years ago? Do you expect to be exactly the same 5 years from now?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 06:03 PM
1

Pretty sure someone already explained that Stockholm syndrome makes that much more complicated then just up and leaving. Abusers don't go from 0 to 100 in just the first few dates. They wait many months slowly upping their abuse all the while grooming these women to become fully dependent on them.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 06:01 PM
1

Yet women should have the premonition in being able to tell who's abusive and who isn't?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 04:59 PM
1

You literally just said people don't change and now you're moving the goal posts. Classic.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 04:58 PM
1

I compared you to someone who puts on a front.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 04:54 PM
1

So then it's pointless to take the red pill because once a beta, always a beta?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 04:47 PM
1

Just like abusers aren't dumb enough to start backhanding their spouse unless they're in private. See how that works? They put on a front just like you've admitted to doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/16 04:42 PM
3

That you'll have sex with someone and they'll end up liking you and wanting be in a relationship with you. Obviously some Stephen King level shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/15 07:24 AM
5

So... where are the actual stats?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/15 10:30 PM
1

I think there are two types of rp behaviours, the type that need to be the center of attention or act like they're the one who runs controls all the decisions or be crass/abrasive, and the type that acts all broody in an attempt to come off as mysterious.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/15 03:08 PM

They behave like people who try too hard. Because that's all the sub boils down to.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/15 05:06 AM

A doctor of compulsive lying perhaps?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/15 09:45 AM

As I said; red pillers don't like hearing that. You even described how relationships start out in your previous comment, reversing the genders still make it true. What actually happens is you meet someone, hit it off, and see where you go. If he's into you, he's usually willing to ignore the past. That's how adults view things.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/15 09:57 AM
1

And guys do the same but redpillers don't like hearing that. Funny how human nature is dismissed.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/15 09:02 PM
1

I just follow redpillers lead.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/15 09:00 PM
2

So as I said, mostly women who already want just casual sex don't care but you guys are mostly shit out of luck for as anything but a meaningless fuck. You aren't ltr material, at least not for the women you'd want to be with in an ltr (ie: women with low partner counts).
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/15 07:38 PM
4

Instead of answering the question he whines about imaginary internet points.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/15 11:03 AM
8

You should relish it, it'll be around a lot longer than any other relationship you attempt to form.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/15 12:55 AM
6

Your penis is getting sucked up and engulfed by a vagina until it's sucked dry. Buddy, if you're having tons of sex you're used up just like the sluts you like to judge. There is no slut/stud dynamic. You have sex, you're not appealing for anything more than a fuck by women with your same standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/15 12:14 AM
6

What reality, trp reality? Because rpers mostly go after women who are already looking to have causal sex. Women looking for long term relationships generally want someone who hasn't been rode out like the city bicycle. Sure they'll probably prefer what you guys call a "chad" for some meaningless fun but for something meaningful they'd rather someone relationship oriented. But then again this goes against rp "reality" so you guys just try to hamster it away.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/15 11:52 PM
1

You're adding in a ton of things too. Who says it's just vanilla sex? People doing don't just stop doing things they enjoy as some sort of petty revenge because they're the one who end up losing out on, y'know, doing something they enjoy. If they were getting money, that's even more incentive to do wild, crazy sexual things that they already enjoy.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/15 06:06 PM
1

I'm not seeing how not wanting to do something you don't enjoy is a shit test.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/15 06:10 AM
2

Sure but the question is how does the logic follow. Why is it expected that if you've done something in the past, it's hypocritical of you not to want to do it again?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/15 05:35 AM

I get what you're saying but that is the point of feminism; choice. Women getting to choose whether they want to be considered as equals or if they just prefer having no roles in things. Whether they realize it or not, feminism is the reason why they even have the right to choose if they'd follow it or reject it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/15 05:26 AM
1

Any particular reason why?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/15 12:30 AM
2

So either men are desperate or they're assholes?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/15 03:14 AM
1

Low-quality men are rejected by everyone. Low-quality women can garner the attention of some men. And I contest this. Either all undesirable people get unwanted attention or no attention regardless of whether they're a woman or man.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/15 03:13 AM
1

This doesn't really address my point. Women still raise that they have to put effort into their looks. And those invisible guys? Yeah, they just think they're invisible because like you say, the people who are attracted to them aren't really who they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/15 12:31 AM
1

Isn't that odd? Both girls and boys get the "just be yourself" advice from adults yet the girls realize that being yourself does not mean put literally no effort into being attractive. Why are only boys the ones who didn't get the message?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/15 11:45 PM

Motive.

Never even heard of that site until right now.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/15 05:16 PM

So mine is bullshit but yours carries more merit? Based on what exactly? Either way even if incompatibility wasn't op's reasons for a break up, you've already shown how you feel about women who have broken up with their boyfriends for that reason while at the same time absolving yourself from the criticisms you just made about them. My point is, no one is in anyway responsible for someone they've gotten into a relationship with lying or misleading them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/15 04:21 AM
3

There is no splitting hairs, you called a random person a bad person and a bad judge of character because they broke up with some guys when I suggested that it could have been because they were incompatible as if she's somehow responsible for someone lying to her. Then immediately after you say that you know a person's character within a just three dates and if you find out that they've lied you break up with them. So by your own admission, you too are a bad judge of character and a bad person. …
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/15 03:45 AM

It's your life so you get to make up a number about someone based on absolutely nothing? I'm not saying you can't, I'm saying that's illogical. But keep it up with that persecution complex, I'm sure it's working wonders for you. Anyway, you've veered this conversation off topic. I say you can't guarantee someone won't lie about something within the first dates and you won't find out into much later in your interactions and somehow you perceive that as me saying preferences are bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/15 02:54 AM
3

Not within the first three dates. Lies come out further in relationship. Interesting that you make up an arbitrary number.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/15 02:25 AM
3

None of that is failproof, people can lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/15 01:31 AM
3

So you've never gotten with someone and later found out that they had a completely different belief or value from yourself? You discuss every single topic and value within the span of your first three dates? Interesting that you made such a unsubstantiated assumption about her character by just her saying she's broken up with a few guys before.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/15 12:40 AM
5

Or maybe they simply just weren't compatible.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/15 12:19 AM
2

I'm pretty sure that isn't what trp means when they say no woman is self made.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/15 06:53 PM

This post will probably get removed since you're not really asking anything. I think it's an interesting topic that hasn't been discussed much on this sub so hopefully you'll get to reword it and it can stay. Edit: phone decided proper grammar was no longer needed.

This has gotten stale but I can't but offer counter points to some of your claims. I mostly skimmed through this but hopefully I don't miss anything of importance. It may not be universal, but it is common enough that there are a host of studies, dozens of books, thousands of blogs, and an entire Reddit sub devoted to the problem. And yet, despite the prevalence, this very thread is evidence that there are those who believe that it is an isolated problem created by dysfunctional men. Yeah, becau…

Later, when you aren't tired. Or stressed. Or feeling unsexy. Or pissed off about something. Or have something more important to do. Or it's not an inconvenience. Or would rather watch TV. Or would rather do damn near anything else BUT have sex, 'cause it just sounds boring and disruptive. But not today. Maybe not this week. Maybe next month. Who knows when I'll feel like it again... You know what, you're totally right. In fact I don't think my SO and I have had sex since the Clinton presidency.…

No, honestly, I haven't. I am not certain that you have ever considered that possibility, so I am curious as to whether you think your tune would change if it happened. You're right, that isn't fair of me. I- It seems like you're pretty dead-set against ever compromising, but I don't know. Never mind. You have made up your mind. Only if you continually say no would that be the case. Don't continually say no, and he'll be a happy dude. Except that our relationship is about more than sex and us no…

I know I'm really late but I thought I'd reply anyway. All you've done is tack on a bunch of false premises to my questions and then based your argument on that. My inquiries had no hidden agenda, all I wanted was clarification on what the person I replied meant. Not my fault if you perceived it the way you did.

My wife had sex once had sex with me twice a day for 5 weeks when we were first together. She enjoyed it monumentally, too. For years. But over the years, it just tapered off slowly, until it was just a quickie once every month or two. Remember that famous BP battle cry? People change? Well, I know it's working great for you now, but people change. It happened to my wife, and I'm not the only one for whom that has happened at all. I know many guys just in my circle of friends who have experience…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/14 07:27 AM

No, but you're acting like that's the standard complaint. That guys who complain about not getting sex are super-demanding and expect it on command. I'm disagreeing. You're interpreting it that way. Doesn't make your presumptions true though. I will use the fact that I'm a married guy who talks with a lot of other married guys about sex on a regular basis (something I doubt women do very often, unless they are a sex therapist) to back up my claim. You got anything to back up your contrary claim?…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/14 06:21 AM

You're advocating that taking a "never say no" attitude is dysfunctional. Oh really? Show me where. And I'm calling you out on the fact that your arguments are based on huge presumptions Show me where. which indicates to me that you aren't making an unbiased judgment, which indicates that you have an agenda Irony. If not, I request you take down the strawmen and participate in the actual debate going on... What debate? You just jumped in and started claiming bull.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/14 06:16 AM

Aww, hun I really don't care what you think. Hard to believe but I have an infinitely better amount of knowledge on my relationship than you do. But you can make all the assumptions about a relationship you know nothing about, random internet stranger, so that your world view doesn't feel threatened. I know that having an unbiased acceptance of relationships that differ from your own redpill views isn't really a strong suite for you guys. Such a shame, thought I'd finally found an actual civil r…

But he has turned the keys to his sex life for the rest of his life over to you. He has to play by your rules. Except not really. I mean, right now, maybe you are providing him with a fulfilling sex life, but what happens if (and when, which, going by the statistics, will probably happen) you decide to start cutting back in that area? I'm not providing him with anything, we have sex. But I guess I'm just going to randomly stop doing something I monumentally enjoy...because of reasons. Women only…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/14 02:15 AM

But that is what most of us are talking about, and what the RPWs here are talking about combating. I get that you might have your own agenda, but you might want to acknowledge that. Cool, cool but the title of the thread is "Does never say no ever affect your sex drive?", not "Why do women always deny their partners sex?" so you might want to get back on topic instead of trying to accuse me of having an agenda.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/14 01:22 AM

So because you've never personally heard that exact complaint it must mean no one has ever said it? Because that's all I'm getting from your comments.

Sometimes we are too stressed or whatever to completely make it all the way to the finish, and those times we usually just laugh it off and try again another time (still fun though) We're not like this, we find it extremely frustrating to start something but not finish it, especially him. Like if someone offered us pizza when we weren't in the mood for it but decided to try and eat it anyway, we would just take a few feeble bites and then not want it anymore and we'd feel like that was a waste o…

You know what I've never heard? "You know what my bitch of a wife dared tell me the other night when I told her to fuck me? That she had a headache/was tired from the tasks she's been going through! Can you believe it?" Okay...I said complain, not berate so I'm not sure what your point is. Though I do I see it pretty often how redpillers say women are saying no to sex because they know they're the gate keepers of sex and are just being manipulative or some other bull.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/14 07:39 AM
1

I'm not talking about habitual denial. If I say no, that doesn't mean we're never having sex ever again, there's always later. No not does not mean no indefinitely. I enjoy sex, especially with him so we will do it soon.

He is feeling sexual. It's his body, so...can he go off and do with it what he will while you're enjoying not being sexual? That's the part I don't get (and that frustrates the shit outta me - can you tell? lol). Lol, he is free to also do whatever he wants with his body and can go fuck everything with a hole and a pulse if he'd like, I'm not forcing him to stay, we would just no longer be in a relationship. But he chooses to stay committed to me, just like I choose to stay committed to him. Bec…

I gave my body to my husband :) I told him he could do whatever he wanted to with it, whenever he wanted I'm glad this works for your relationship but I don't think I'd like that kind of arrangement for myself. I want to be fully into it and that would not be guaranteed if I'm just not feeling up to it. If I'm not into it, that'll diminish his satisfaction and I want to give him the best, not just something mediocre. Sex is meant to be pleasurable and it's more about quality then quantity for us…

Of course, I didn't write what you have in italics, but people have different ways of going about things and different ways of thinking about things; just because it doesn't work for you personally, doesn't mean that she can't think this way. Do you believe that saying no to sex means you don't value your partner and the relationship at all? But I don't think red pillers actually want anything from women aside from her being arm candy, getting sex, admiration, and being mollycoddled. They view women as being inferior "different" in every other respect.

Not necessarily. Did you read the link? Being apple shaped is not limited to just having large breast.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/14 05:53 PM

What other types of "good looking" do men have?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/14 10:53 PM

being in shape and forming a masculine physique How is this not considered as being part of physically attractive?

You can dance around avoiding answering all you want under the guise that men having sex is all due some unbelievably complex formula and logistics that rpers could never even possibly dream of actually summarizing but we all know that's bullshit. And in order to have a debate, the person has to actually solidly state their stance which it seems you guys aren't even sure of.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/14 05:58 PM
1

So what qualifies as masculine?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/14 05:45 PM

I know full well what the sidebar states, I'm simply asking you (or the person I was originally commenting with) what they think makes men attractive. Because, ya'know that's the whole point of this sub, stating your beliefs and position. I am absolutely devastated that my pesky questions on a debate sub are making me appear less attractive (and somehow bitchy?) to random people on the internet whom I will never care about.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/14 07:15 AM

You're telling me trp can't summarize the basics of what women find attractive in men?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/14 02:52 AM

I thought rpers have already figured that out?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/14 01:58 AM

This is an absolutely fascinating response, I honestly could not contain the grin on my face as I read through your reply, it just kept getting bigger and bigger. Also, I just realized who you are! I hope you don't mind if I ask a few question for you to expound on your previous answers. If men aren't entitled to sex, women aren't entitled to commitment. This reasoning assumes that he's getting nothing out of the relationship and that he's only in it for sex while she only in it for the monogamy…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/14 12:42 AM

So what is attractive to women?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/14 12:08 AM

So then how do you think men end up having sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/14 11:50 PM

So are men who are naturally good looking or charismatic outliers?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/14 12:52 PM

I guess because one is being submissive? So submissiveness=sluttyness? Correct me if I'm wrong rpers.

I'm confused by your comment. You say him being shamed is understandable and then you say she's not "entitled" to his commitment and that she should be offering him more to make up for the lack of sex. They're both virgins by choice though so what's the problem? Also you say a sexless relationship is just equivalent to a friendship. Do you think the defining factor of a relationship is rooted in sex? Also, you're skeptical due to your past experiences with virgins or just women who didn't want t…

Okay, that makes a little more sense than what you said before. But the keyword is being "dtf right away". If that's what guys are really asking, then maybe that's what they should actually ask instead of complaining that women are contradictory. They also state whom they're hoping to fuck also so they'll get realistic answers.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/14 04:54 PM

The question was "What's happening here? Why is it that they haven't improved themselves without the red-pill? Why is it seen as a 'secret'; that improving yourself is somehow forbidden knowledge?" I don't think it's a hidden secret that being fit and dressing appropriately helps your odds with the opposite sex. And I never really see threads on the sub discussing those topics in detail either on how to go about doing those things. I do, however, see lots of theories on "female nature". So what …

So why does theredpill view this as a negative trait that women desire the same thing? Seems like human nature, not female solipsism as redpillers like to describe it.

In the US the "marriage penalty " affects the lower earning spouse. Exactly, which is why these women don't want to marry someone earning much more than themselves. The higher earning spouse receives a "marriage bonus". Yes, which means their spouse would have to be either working part time or not working at all. These women are working full time so they're not applicable. And of course the whole thing favors the wealthy traditional family where a single income earning couple receives a much lar…

Hypergamy : marriage into an equal or higher caste or social group Which is the opposite of what the article said about women not wanting to marry someone who's income is higher than their own. You should tell that to most marriage counsellors. It defacto is this stuff. If I were in the habit of saving posts, I could link you tons of BP responses saying the same. Okay, I'll pretend that you didn't just make up two (and are offering to make up more) ridiculous hypotheticals and seem to think this somehow invalidates my point and supports your argument. Let's start with hypothetical one. This guy is doing a bunch of shit for her in hopes of getting sex and apparently that's supposed to be normal? That's not how sex works. Inserting X amount of favours and actions isn't going to result in a woman booting up into sex mode. If you're with someone who doesn't …

Women enjoy sex too, you know. They aren't sitting around maniacally plotting ways of how they'll refuse to have sex with the person they've married.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/14 07:05 PM
2

It's so redpiller says he'd be open with his girlfriend about his feelings without it having any negative effect on their sex life and redpiller honestly seems to not even fathom the possibility. Like the very notion of sharing your emotions with your SO is inconceivable.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/14 06:07 AM
2

So you're going to gamble with someone's emotional well being on the off chance that maybe your manipulation might work? Because there just might be a possibility that she's just testing him, he should test her by making her feel jealous and insecure? If that is what's going on, I don't see how that's even worth staying in such a toxic relationship. But apparently redpillers do and as they so commonly say, like attracts like.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/14 03:05 AM

Well that's your opinion. But if they guy does and hangs out with other people and the girl sees her star diminish and her vagina starts working then maybe she's faking. All hypothetical. I'm sure anyone would advise a couple who are both unhappy in their relationship to end it (excluding OP who thinks the guy should just dread game her to get sex). What I said was in no way tone policing, I was just stating a fact. I thought the red pill was all about harsh truths.

What you said: You actually believe sex is just about the pleasure and not about being RECOGNIZED AS A HUMAN BEING You're basing your entire humanity on sex, bro. The rest of your comment is just projecting a bunch of stuff the OP never said. But thanks for deciding not to reply anymore.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/14 12:50 PM

I mean, if you personally want to wholly base your entire being and whether you want to live on whether or not women want to sleep with you, that's your prerogative. /r/PurplePillDebate15/09/14 04:29 AM

u/Those_Who_Remain was talking about the redpill definition of hypergamy. How trp describes hypergamy: Hypergamy – The instinctual urge for women to seek out the best alpha available. She is conditioned to recognize a declining alpha, as hypergamy also tends to continue seeking out higher status males even while with a…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/14 12:34 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/14 12:00 AM

I know nothing about ICP or how they're supposed to sound since it all sounds the same to me. Justin Bieber is not talentless, he has a good voice even if most people don't like his songs (and they're usually not even his target audience). /r/PurplePillDebate07/08/14 07:38 AM

What kind of gigs are talentless bands getting? But in essence, you're telling me that women appreciate the hard work these guys are putting into their band and women's attraction to them is not vainly based on the sole fact that these guys are musicians?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/14 10:01 AM
1

A few comments up you said even guys in shitty, talentless bands get pussy, now you're telling me that only guys who work hard and are successful and are extremely good at what they do get girls. Your comments directly oppose each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/14 05:12 PM
2

Okay...that mentions nothing about the super easy way to get women by just joining a band. Also it contradicts what you said. Especially this: Most guys are scarred little Betas that don't want to put fourth what it takes to learn to play an instrument or sing in front of people. While your link describes betas as "the good-looking guys who aren't as uniformly attractive or socially dominant as the Alpha, but are nevertheless confident, attractive to women, and do well with them. At the party, t…

Shouldn't joining a band be one of the top methods listed in trp philosophy though?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/14 05:12 AM
1

So then the band's success is relevant, as I said in another comment. How exactly does her husband have more potential then her? She has a trust fund and a job. Is potential determined by just how much sex someone gets offered?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/14 04:52 AM
2

So the secret to getting women is to be in a band. Good to know. Weird how all guys don't just do that if it's so simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/14 04:46 AM

So if he were older yet still had the same experiences as he does now, you'd take him more seriously? Also where does he say he's a virgin? So far he only said that sex is not a priority for him. I agree, the marriage is over but it's definitely not the wife's fault if we go what he's written, it just seems like this guy doesn't feel like being married anymore. No where in his post does he say that they would constantly argue or that he didn't get enough sex, all he ever says is that he became a "beta" so he started cheating. 300 seems like a pretty arbitrary number, what makes you choose it? And how is OP's logic flawed? Top five on trp's front-page means a good chunk of them must agree…

41 people upvoted it out of the 600~ people that lurk in that sub, must be what TRP is. This thinking is flawed. You assume that everyone currently lurking trp is a subscriber there which isn't true. For instance everyone reading this post got linked there and not everyone here is rp nor are we going to vote on it. Also, it sounds like you're saying unless something is unanimously upvoted, it isn't representative of trp but if we go by that logic then nothing on trp is representative of the sub …

Weird that trp finds seduction too limiting considering they both claim to be about serial strategy and self improvement. Maybe OP is right and they do feel threatened... I've constantly seen members of seduction disassociate themselves from trp and vice versa. I'm glad at least one of us is impressed with the other. Seems pretty unhinged to mention a downvote brigrade when it has nothing to do with the topic and no one is brigrading anything. If your comments weren't breaking any rules but were deleted every time you posted then that would be censoring. People pressing a little blue arrow next to your comment is not. Downvotes are not censorship, sugarballs.

I didn't know /r/becomeaman was part of trp since I was on my phone and can't see sub-styles. The OP claims that women who created alternatives subs to rpw must mean that those women feel threatened. SO is full of feminist ambiguity, so that women can change the value in of a relationship as they see fit. Really? I'm pretty sure SO is just a gender neutral term to describe someone whom you're in a relationship with. Also seems less juvenile way since girlfriend and boyfriend sounds kind of high school - ish.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/14 09:11 PM
8

Additionally, many people seem to use hypergamy to explain every break up. A woman found out she was incompatible with her partner, broke up, and moved on to someone else? HYPERGAMY. A wife was tired of her husband's lack of emotional contribution? HYPERGAMY. This is an excellent point. Very recently there was a post on trp where a guy was broken up with because his girlfriend found him to be too cold and distant and told him so. She was also interested in marriage while the OP wasn't because he…

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Mind expanding?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/14 03:32 AM

But even that isn't true. There are plenty of men who cheat because they feel something missing in their relationship and plenty of women who cheat just because they want a change.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/14 03:18 AM
2

But we're not talking about the reasoning for cheating between the sexes, we're talking about hypergamy. Ending a relationship due to hypergamy isn't cheating. Cheating is cheating, no matter the reasoning or whether the relationship survives. In your response to the op you stated that women will break up if a better option is offered but men will stay in a relationship while also taking the better option i.e. try to have it all.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/14 03:11 AM
0

Cheating is cheating. It doesn't matter how someone tries to rationalize their infidelity. If guy wants to just "bang a girl who looks different from his main girl" he should find someone who wants to be in an open relationship or just not get into a relationship at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/14 03:06 AM
5

I think the difference is that women will abandon the relationship to the better option, while men will just cake eat. Women tend to have blinders for one guy while men can typically fuck multiple women without cognitive dissonance. Your wording makes it sound like you think cheating is better than a relationship ending.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/14 10:36 PM

But always being available, constantly complimentary, stroking your man's ego, and responding immediately to all his texts would be seen as being clingy for both an ltr and casual sex. In fact those traits would be seen as even worse if it were just a fuck buddies kind of relationship.

I don't think OP is annoyed that he's interested in other women, it seems more like she expected their relationship to turn into a friends with benefits kind of deal since he was so attentive to her while he just saw it as a one night stand. That is the difference- sluts have low standards, good girls have high standards. I have no opinion on what those standards should be, or even whether or not women should have them, but that's the basis that I (and most men) use to classify as either sluts or good girls. Well that's nebulous and unhelpful. You expect women to have standards that you can't define. I think vain and gold digging should be included since you did say women should shouldn't settle for someone who doesn't look like he'd be a provider for her and her future children that she apparently should plan on having. Edit: gold, not hold

So guys want to have casual sex with chaste, vain, gold digging women who will hop on into bed with only them and have all the responsibilities of a spouse while the guys themselves give those women nothing in return and also have the freedom to have this sort of "relationship" with multiple other women simultaneously. That's their definition of a good girl. Got it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/14 05:31 AM
1

That's not what they want, though; they don't want to invest the time and energy that's required in an LTR. But they expect women to? Right, which is why men who prefer sexually conservative women (most of them) don't want to date women who have casual sex. A man wanting to have sex with women who require a relationship is no more hypocritical than a woman wanting to have a relationship with men who require sex. Everyone is free to extend whatever level of sex/commitment they like, and everyone …

Your phrasing is awkward, but for the most part, yes. As I said earlier, this usually isn't an option, which is why most men who want casual sex are forced to get it from sluts. Or they can just find someone to have a relationship since that's basically what they want. Women who start treating a fuck buddy like their boyfriend are just seen as clingy and are never held in high regard. I don't think that being sexually conservative constitutes "coddling", but if you believe that it does, then wha…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/14 04:11 AM
1

So they want to have casual sex with woman who will treat them like they're in a relationship even though they don't plan on committing to those woman? You're basically telling me they want someone to coddle them while not planning on being serious with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/14 02:22 AM
1

So when a women just wants casual sex... she should withhold sex first until he exhibits the abilities of a provider? What do you think casual sex means?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 11:09 PM
1

Men have respect for women who try to commit to them and tie them down into a relationship when the guy just wants someone to have casual sex with? I'm pretty sure men call women who do that clingy and psycho crazy bitches.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 10:54 PM
1

I've never seen anyone respect a person for sleeping with someone just because of their status.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 10:34 PM
1

But it's casual sex, she doesn't need his money unless you're saying that women should only ever hook up with men who have high status which sounds extremely vain.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 10:01 PM
1

You said good girls have casual sex with guys who have the ability to provide for them and their future children. In order to seem like a capable provider wealth or at least financial stability is a requisite. But why should these things be necessary if they don't actually plan on dating? They don't plan on getting serious or having children.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 07:20 PM
1

So that's what makes them sluts? And good girls are more respected because they only have sex with wealthy guys? Isn't that what guys call gold diggers?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 06:46 AM
1

So you're saying woman who have casual sex with men who don't exhibit the qualities of a provider are perceived as having low standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 06:18 AM
1

Not wanting someone to provide for them is having lower standards? You're telling me that men would have more respect for a woman who was trying to have them take care of them and get them pregnant when all the guy wants is a one night stand or a fuck buddy? Because I read the exact opposite on the redpill and it sounds extremely contradictory to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 05:36 AM

Obviously they vary from person to person, but common sexual standards among women include a physically attractive body, a personality they find attractive, and the ability to provide for the woman and her future kids. Since your first two points are universal for almost anyone including sluts and "good girls" , I'm just going to focus on your last point. If a woman is just interested in casual sex, she's generally not looking for someone to have kids with (at least not at that moment in her lif…

The pinnacle of a true alpha.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 03:41 AM
2

Well yes, but I'm asking you what are those specific standards. What do romantic standards have to do with people looking for just casual sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 03:30 AM
1

What kind of standards are we talking about?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 03:04 AM
2

So mature.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 02:59 AM
2

Then you should have used the word polygamous instead of monogamous.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 02:38 AM
2

Why are "good girls" exclusive from sluts? What is your definition of a good girl (especially in terms of casual sex)?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 02:22 AM
2

... the reason they hook up with sluts is because they have to. They have to?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/14 02:01 AM
1

I'm not if it's been verified, but media gossip did claim that her relationship with some guy from one direction didn't work out because she wouldn't have sex. If that's true, that coupled with her slut shaming lyrics would explain why she so many of her relationships end the way they do. In fact wouldn't that make her the opposite of a slut?

What's the first reaction of the public if my husband commands me to do something or god forbid raises his voice at me or takes hold of my arm? An immediate army of beta white knights to my rescue. They don't even listen to me that I don't want their help, nothing bad is happening. They are there to enforce feminist thinking onto my relationship. That's a lot more than me wishing for the 40s again. I've seen you around and I've read about the lifestyle and kind of relationship you have with your…

I didn't assume she was lying What? You said it twice here and here that /u/polyhooly might simply be lying which is what annoyed me enough to find the actual post they were talking about. The most of the quotes I cited were from the same page of the book as the original quote. The demonstrate the context of the argument. But it's not the quote we were talking about. That wasn't what was being argued. Again; What? May I remind you that this is the comment that prompted the topic. So, yes, that's…

Prior to this I wasn't presented with a link to the post, so I was operating on reasonable assumptions given the limited information shared with me. Not really. I wouldn't call it reasonable to assume that someone is lying when you have no info on the topic. The additional quotes from the book provide much needed context, which supports my assertion that the author is using an exaggerated scenario to make a point. I like how you decided to completely ignore the quote about the actual topic we're…

No u/polyhooly is not lying nor is the is the author of the book exaggerating to make a point like you repeatedly keep trying to claim. Here is a link to the post and the exact quotes from the book. I don't understand how you can keep making such baseless assertions when you have not even read the post.

So then what does it mean?

Unless you've invented some technology that allows us the unique experience of knowing what it's like to be somebody else, the idea that you see their actions and assume their inner monologue is usually called "projecting." You would never act that way, so in your mind they must think poorly of her. This is a distinction that you cannot actually make. First, let's define projection. A defense mechanism in which a person unconsciously rejects his or her own unacceptable attributes by ascribing th…

I think that's a distinction you cannot make. Explain. But let's say it were true- so what? So you don't think the person you're having sex with deserves to be treated like a human? Is there something wrong with enjoying sex? I'm not a fundamentalist christian so you'll have to walk me through the steps here... I don't even know what you're saying here. You're shifting the conversation and calling me a Christian Fundamentalist who doesn't think people should enjoy sex because...?

Do you have a link to the study? Is it this one: http://tonyjack.org/files/2013%20Jack%20A%20scientific%20case%20for%20conceptual%20dualism%20(1).pdf? Regardless, that makes no sense. We are not talking about being empathetic v. being logical, we are talking about being respectful to the person you're having sex with.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/14 03:48 AM

Except that's exactly how the guys in the OP treated her. She was just a warm hole to them. There aren't only extremes where you either mistreat someone or fawn over them.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/14 12:30 AM

This makes no sense at all. You can care and respect someone while keeping your emotions in check. It's called treating them like a human.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/14 12:24 AM

I get that, I just don't understand the logic behind it. They want sex but women shouldn't? It makes no sense.

Not treating them like crap is becoming emotionally invested?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/14 07:57 PM

This is something i don't understand about trp. If you're having causal sex or no strings attached sex with a woman apparently she doesn't deserve to be treated like a person. Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/14 06:39 PM

TRP, is a way of understanding how to behave to take care of both. How?

I never said there's no one at all who wears makeup in an attempt to seem more attractive, I just said it shouldn't be assumed that that's why they're doing it. I don't assume guys shave or wear cologne just because they want to seem more attractive. Effort /=/ trying to be attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/13 04:09 PM
1

You can't really presume that their accentuating is in attempt to be more attractive though.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/13 04:17 AM

But there's no universal consensus of what is attractive, it's all subjective.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/13 02:11 AM
1

Not necessarily. When women wear a bold colors I've heard tons of people say they prefer "the natural look" or don't like such "heavy looking makeup" but that doesn't stop women from wearing it. One can assume they keep wearing it, not to seem more attractive, but because they like it.

...and then pretended to have gone to sleep. After a couple minutes roll back toward her, start kisisng her, tell her you couldn't sleep, stuff ike that! I think that's the part that is being referred to as pushy.

As soon as I read "loveless marriage" I wondered why you even decided to stay but thought I'd read the post any way. Here's what really jumps out at me: I want to tell her that we shouldn't have kids until we are in a healthier and more loving marriage, but I am afraid she will explode if I tell her that I feel this way You married this woman for a reason. Ask yourself why. Was it because you love her or is it because you depend on her? Either way, if you don't feel comfortable with her, I'd sug…
