I personally think that caring too much about social media can actually lead to lacking of social awareness. Sure, social proof is one of the most effective ways to prove that you are socially adept, and social media is the easiest way to frame your social proof. In reality though it is staged. For example, the 300 like profile picture the chick put up last night will prove that people think shes attractive and it will help her attract male attention. But this has absolutely nothing to do with h…

Reminds me of this speech by ex US Navy Seal Commander Jocko Willink. Good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdTMDpizis8

Then just have a long term open relationship with her. The word "cheat" implys that monogamy was expected in the first place. Since you guys didnt talk about it being open and she "cheated" means you got in a ltr with a hoe and she had zero respect for you. You trying to rationalize it means you lack self respect. Just break her off and find something new imo.

I feel for you buddy, just know that all of this is just negative self talk. You need to take life a little less seriously and throw yourself off the deep end. Take little steps. Get really fucking good at something and aquire self confidence. Whether that be learning an instrument or lifting weights. Just do something all out and as you get better you will have more confidence in yourself and be happier. People want to fuck happy and confident people regardless of being alpha or any of that. Yo…

Socializing is so much better the reading "models" by mark mason or any other PUA book that the market offers. Go out, and fuck up - confidence isn't found in a book. The book is only there to guide you out of your room.

I wen't through something very similar and it absolutely crushed me. You're not alone man and now we just have a different level of awareness and understanding. Now that enough time has passed for me to not feel pain over it; more just feeling sadness for you because I know how much it hurts, I've learned to not put faith, trust, or even love into a woman as the cost to benefit ratio is way to fucked up. Improve yourself and eventually (so cliche sorry) you will be thankful for this whole situat…

Unfortunately that isn't sustainable long term as the road to self improvement is full of peaks and valleys.

Get off social media, it was the most liberating thing I think I've ever done. You eventually become the man you want to be instead of wasting precious time being jealous over filtered Instagram pictures of other people, that only gives insight to the best points of peoples lives and none of the worst making you feel inadequate.

I'm doing keto now and have been for the past 3 months - literally zero sugar for 3 months. I feel amazing and went from a bulky 167 to a lean and cut 149, its a great diet.

I see what your saying, but I feel as though being "Alpha" isn't the same thing as being a "bad boy", just as I don't feel being "Beta" is the same as being the nice guy. There is alot of overlap but I make a differentiation because you don't need to be a "bad boy" to be an Alpha male, your very presence will just command it. I know good guys that are alpha males - doesn't mean they are "nice guys" but they arent "bad boys" either. What I was saying is some "bad boys" are faking it and they are …

True, there is also the middle which is just being yourself, and not putting on an act in order to get laid (I feel like its totally unconscious). It requires a large amount of confidence and a dropping of ego which is done by taking small steps everyday towards self improvement. Some people can just naturally be "nice" or "bad boys" and its just the core of their personality; and not being self aware of why said person is the way that they are and what they could do to change to be better would…

A quick contrast with "how to win friends and influence people" and "no more mr nice guy" They seem to be completely contradicting pieces of work. One is saying to be overtly appreciative in order to win over appraisal, and the other is saying just worry about yourself and you will get further ahead. I think using "how to win friends and influence people" sets out a good guideline if there is something that you want out of a person, say for financial or political gain. But i think doing exactly …
