Idk the statistics on prison rape difference for men and women. In the U.S outside of prison: 82% of rape victims are adolescent females. 90% of adult rape victims are females. 91% of rape victims are female compared to 9% Male rape victims. Obviously these numbers fluctuate a little bit each year. https://www.nsvrc.org/statistics

Women get raped in prison also.

Nope. Which women were called suffragettes instead of suffragists in the U.S? Give the source then. Also, they were still both feminists.

Suffragettes were the U.K. Alice Paul and Susan B Anthony were SUFFRAGISTS, in the U.S. Both fought for womens right to vote, both were feminists. Alice Paul is just seen as more radical, since she went on a hunger strike like the U.K suffragettes did as well. Dear God, how are you so confident in your wrongness? Also, yes its fucked that some like Susan b Anthony did not want black women to vote as well, for either the reason of racism at that time or the fear of losing the vote for white women…

Susan B Anthony, Alice Paul and their supporters. All of those who were advocating for womens rights. Also, wonderful statistics, I'm sure literally 99% of feminists are JUST LIKE Gloria Steinem. /s

Yes, that was a bad example. I guess I haven't seen any specific instances of this happening on local news personally. If I see a women or man or both on the news for murder I usually dont hear either one being justified.

"When women commit horrible crimes we analyze it and when men do it we demonize it." Look at the majority of murderer documentaries. It's about analyzing why the men did what they did and what lead them to it.

You haven't put any holes in my argument. I'm the one staying on topic here. What does this have to do with the suffragists being feminist? You keep adding to try to prove a point and it's not working. A feminist is someone who supports feminism. The suffragists supported feminism so they were feminists. I'm not getting baited into a separate argument about the red stocking society. You have been wrong on alot of points from the very beginning and I've corrected you. If you choose to be ignorant…

I dont know everything about her, but from what I do know she would be a feminist because she supports women getting equal rights. Also. You keep going in circles and I keep repeating myself. So let's say that gloria Steinberg is in fact a female supremacist, that does not prove that suffragists were not feminists. Your grasping at straws trying to support your "all feminists are bad" narrative. I'm not repeating myself anymore than I already have from now on.

By definition Gloria Stienem would be a feminist, since she supports feminism.

I'm not trying to apply the lable feminist to non feminists. I'm simply stating that they are in fact feminist. It's easy enough to look up the definition and realise that since suffragists were fighting for feminism, it makes them feminist, because the literal definition of a feminist is a person who supports feminism. At this point I'm not sure if you are trolling or are just so wrapped up in your feminism hating ideology that your ignoring basic definitions.

Cont.. You're just using a fallacy of composition to argue that feminism is bad. "Because some suffragettes were violent, and suffragettes were one type of feminists, that means that all of feminism is bad." Which is wrong. Its unfortunate that my comments are being downvoted so much because I'm right, and people dont like that because it doesn't fit their "all feminism is bad" narrative. Any argument you are using for feminism are the same arguments radical fem-nazis use against men today.

Yes I know. The suffragetts in the U.K started before the suffragists, some suffragists even went to the U.K to learn more about feminism from the suffragettes. and yes they thought there ideas were more extreme because of some of their actions but the suffragists were STILL FEMINISTS. A feminist is a person who supports feminism, and the suffragists did. As I said a several times, there were different types of feminists.

Wait, are you only talking about the first wave of feminism in the U.K? So since you agree with the suffragists then you agree with the first wave of feminism in the U.S? Suffraggett was the term used for suffragists in the U.K. There was not terrorist action from the suffragists in the U.S. Also, in the U.S anyways, there were some feminists who were in support of women in the military and some were not, as I said before. Also, the majority of those who disagreed with a female draft where the a…

Cont.. I understand your point, but you could say the same thing about most things in history. Most change in history is from violence or force being used. There are always radicals. However the entire first wave was not bad because of those radicals. If the movement never existed then women would have not gotten the vote or rights.

I understand that there were issues with the both groups, including them not wanting black women to be a part of their movement. All history is messy and far from perfect. I also understand why they were deemed terrorists in the U.K for terror acts. However the suffragists in the U.S did other things other than bombings, and even in the U.K there were less violent actions they were taking to get rights. I don't understand how the actions of a few undermine the actions of the majority. Isn't that…

Of course they were, but during the beginning of the suffrage movement the word "feminist" was not popular term yet, in fact it didn't even come out in until after the first group was created. The different btw the two terms were how radical their ideas and actions were, but they fought for womens rights, and their ideas were the roots for feminism.

The "give us the vote but dont draft us" comment you made shows how little you know of the sufferage movement. Back then, just like today, there were different types of feminist. The early group of suffragists were more modest than the latter, and did not even support women getting the vote at first, so of course they would have been against women being in the military because that thought at the time was outlandish even for a radical. The NOW was most supportive of those views, since they were …

Before first wave: women had NO legal rights to children or possessions. The only option for them was housewifery. Women who did not marry or widows were seen as immoral. Women could not have the same type of positions men could get even of they wanted to. Did not have a say in reproduction and could not say no to sex , if they did they were institutionalized. During the first wave of feminism women could not vote , and THAT is what their fight was for. The second wave was about multiple things …

That's similar to what I was thinking. I think of toxic masculinity and toxic femininity as learned behaviors, taught to us by society. Behaviors taught to children such as men not being able to Express emotion, or have any type of "feminine" traits. For women it is the ones who are raised to be home makers and cannot have any type of "masculine" traits. Both would be toxic because it teaches them to not Express their emotion which in turn leads to men committing suicide more often, and for wome…

I've never heard of anyone getting boners in public and getting bashed for it. Also, who tf is out there scouting masses for public boner bulges?

Who stares at dude crotches in search of boners? I've never heard of someone getting bashed for having a chub in public. Probably because no one is looking.

It could be hormonal on her part, escpacailly since she has had children, or if she is on any medications such as anti depressants it is known to reduce sexual desire.

Or she just doesn't feel like having sex at that time. If it's a constant issue then hormones could be a huge part of it. As well as if she is on any type of anti depressants, which reduce sexual interest.

Actually, that article was fake. Andrew himself came out and said it was all bullshit created by a troll trying to make her look bad.
