It was actually originally used by most people as a "hook-up" app. You'd get a match, chat a little bit, perhaps decide to meet up at a bar or something, get a few drinks, and hopefully go home together. Now, everyone's on Tinder and it has become more of a fun way to pass the time and essentially become a shitty dating app. Girls get "liked" by basically every single guy on there if they are even marginally attractive.
