Assume what you will, I'm not sure how I haven't addressed what you talked about. Read through the rest of this particular thread maybe, if you think theres something I missed. You keep talking about what consent is and isn't. So I provide a real world example and you dont like it. Find another then. One where you know the risks but still don't have to consent to them when consenting to the act. Bungeejumping? Nope. parachuting? Nope. Riding a bull? Nope. Gotta consent to the fact that each migh…

Huh, Wonder why it's called a "consent waiver" when you are informed of risks. Just to play high school football, you have to be advised of the risks, then consent to them, just to participate..... definitely a "misleading comparison". Or a real world example of how you are misinformed on what consent is and isn't. If a baby is the outcome of sex, and you consent to sex, you've consented to a baby. All kinda keeps coming back in a circle......

I have addressed most of what you've said well before you've said it. There is but one function of sex. The fact that is feels good is a secondary evolutionary trait. It is encouragement for reproduction. A carrot to get you to perform the desired act. Sterile people still have sex for the same reason your dog will hump a pillow. It feels good. However, those of us who are not sterile understand that ever act of copulation can end in conception. We are taught this starting at 12. If you can hone…

Then what, oh wise one, is the biologic purpose of sex? Go ahead, find one that isn't reproduction, I'll wait.

If you consented to an act of reproduction, you consent to reproducing. That's not me being inside anyone's head. That's a simple stating of facts. I'm sorry if you don't appreciate facts. It's a common problem nowadays....

Very much so. Which is part of the reason we'll never accomplish anything. There is little consistency or cohesion. I am more concerned with equal reproductive rights, and much less with the fact that my foreskin was removed at birth. I'm fine with doing away with circumcision, I don't really have an opinion one way or the other. But I'm not going to lament the loss of my own. I've known too many people who had to get it done for medical reasons as teenagers. I've heard it's worse than kidney st…

Yes. I mostly try to avoid these sort of conversations, but the OP image kinda got under my skin. Very few see what I went through as a loss. No one understand I would trade anything to be legally bound to pay for that child right now. Even if I could never see them, just for them to have lived. That I would willingly and gladly trade place with anyone complaining about having to pay child support. 2.5 years later and I'm still working through things. Somehow didn't kill myself, though it was cl…

Our "coverage" is abstaining. Thats the choice we get. Don't want a baby, fine. Don't make one. Are the rules fair? No. But that is the world we live in. To try to shirk your responsibilities to your offspring (which you consent to make by performing the act) is despicable. To walk away from your duty is, and should remain, criminal.

Read again, she is absolutely shirking her responsibilities. And I have been in the situation where I wanted it and she didn't. And that won't happen again. Wanna guess how I'm making sure that won't ever happen again? Again, pretty plain and simple. If you do not want a child, you don't get to have sex, as that will always be a chance. Vasectomies reverse themselves fairly frequently. Condoms break, pills are forgotten. BOTH parties consent to the life created the moment they undo their belts. …

This is straight fucked. Plain and simple, don't want a kid, don't have sex. There is no such thing as "my body, my choice". If that were the case, the woman would die, not the child. But no one actually thinks about that. But This. This is just one more sniveling, babbling excuse that makes men look like pieces of shit. Yes, it is 50% her fault for sleeping with a piece of shit such as this. For not recognizing a man-baby before fucking him. That's not a reason to make her go it alone. Your con…

I'll give you that, there is some sweet, sweet irony. If there is any sort of justice in this world, he will be fired. Acosta is radioactive, I doubt another news agency would dare to pick him up IF he were to get shitcanned.

Should know what? That he made an ass out of himself (again) and spoke over the person giving the briefing? Ya, we know. That's kinda what he does. I'm not going to lend my voice in support of him because someone has labeled it "mansplaining" because he finally did it to a woman. Let him swing.

So was I. Honestly, since I have no basis to compare sex before with after, I do not feel victimized. And as I've known men who medically required it (both as children and as adults), I'm not terribly upset. Needing one later in life means you go through that pain with memory. From what I've been told, it is not a fun experience. Not everything needs to make someone a victim. If it was forcibly removed from you AFTER memory set in, sure. But done as a newborn? No. It was the norm (yes, I know th…

No kidding. But chicago will ultimately find a way to steal all the tax revenue from it, as they do everything else. Hell, couple years ago the lottery was even empty. I get stuck behind people buying lottery every day, where did all the money go? And don't say schools or roads. Our schools are almost unfunded, and our roads are worse than our schools. If they hadn't legalized it, I was pulling for Illinois to be dissolved onto the surrounding states. Plus, it would be funny to watch Indiana and…

Considering they actually set up the infrastructure to sell it, ya probably so. Just like with gun laws, this state refuses to look at any other state for information on how things play out. To paraphrase "this is completely unprecedented, we have no way of knowing what horrors will be unleashed by ____ (insert any issue here). (Actually used by an elected official when Illinois was forced to allow concealed carry. No other state in the union had ever allowed any citizens to carry a gun on their…

Depends. In Illinois, divorces are happening differently now. I have a female friend who is looking down the barrel of having to pay her soon-to-be ex-husband almost $1000 a month because she makes more than him. And that's not child support, as that has been almost wholly done away with here. As long as both parties can do 50/50 split on custody, the law no longer allows for it in most situations. It took years of men protesting outside the Capitol building for fathers rights, but they actually…

Finally, a little justice in the world. That lying ass judge. "I thought 'digging up the skeletons in the courts closet' meant killing and burying me". Because "digging up the dirt" or "skeletons in the closet" were both phrases coined by that man on Facebook. Right then. I'm just thankful he didnt take the plea deals the court was using to try to save face and paint him as the criminal. Too bad she will never see the inside of a jail cell, or any reprimanding at all, for what she did.

I had a similar, though slightly different experience. It doesnt make it any easier when you know ahead of time. The depression and taking off two days a year are spot on accurate though. Those are non-functioning days. I've found it helps slightly to do a random, anonymous good deed for a single mother or fatherless child on those days. Just something to know that SOMEONE at least is having a better day than me, even if they don't know why it happened.

Then it obviously still is the custom. Seek out a prostitute instead.

Then you abide by the customs and wait till marriage. If that's still the law, then you would do well not to ignore it. And the comment about prostitution means that he didnt have to take a girls virginity to get laid. He was out to conquer new territories. Uncharted waters, as it were. And nowadays, theres plenty of ways to prove what he did or didnt promise. He's a doctor, so it's probably safe to assume he has a cell phone, many of these conversations likely happened via text (as is the custo…

If their culture still allows for traditional values such as these, I fail to see the problem. While I hate the false rape culture we live in in western society, he did knowingly commit deceit on that woman. She consented only with the promise of marriage. He made the promise with no intention of following through. Nothing to beware of, unless you were planning on going to India and doing this.

I gotta side with the chick (not in the public shaming). If dude gets to fuck her face, whether you enjoy it or not, you gotta return the favor. I doubt having something railed down your throat is terribly enjoyably (yes, I've had the girls that are into it too. Some even like how sore their throat is after). Personally, I love eating pussy, but I've had girls that refuse to return the favor. That shit only happens once. After that, she has to want it in order to get it. Not saying she has to le…
