Take a step back for a second: I am a feminist who is literally going out of my way to post in a men’s rights forum and not only agree with what you’re saying but take responsibility for my counterparts who refuse to acknowledge these issues? And you still find a way to argue with me? How can you sit here and complain that feminists aren’t seeing your side of things when I am telling you, dude, I see you, I feel you, I’m working with you - and you’re still unloading on me? This is not the way to…

And don’t you think it would be super easy for me to find an example of a men’s rights activist, or several, saying some mind bendingly stupid and sexist shit like, with a quick google search? Or maybe just by scrolling through this sub for five minutes? And wouldn’t it be unfair to the legitimate social issues that men face for me to say “most men’s rights activists are sexist assholes! Look at these four articles I read! Some guy was mean to me on the Internet! This meme is sexist!” And then I…

All social movements, including feminism, deserve and need to be critiqued. I agree. I would be hugely offended if a clearly sexist woman twisted terminologies to seem holier than thou, undeserving of criticism. I hope you would feel the same about the men within your movement. Bringing you back to my point, again, this post is less a well-reasoned critique of the feminist movement and more of a “haha look at this idiot sexist woman, all feminists bad” which, again, is super unhelpful to your ca…

And by the way I did not mean to gloss over your other arguments. I was just redirecting you to my point. I agree, as does any true egalitarian feminist, that there are social issues unique to men that need to be addressed. I would be as vocal an advocate for addressing these issues as I am for issues that are unique to women. I don’t think that an either/or conversation is logical, necessary, or helpful. I’m with you on all of that. I hope you’re with me too.

I can only speak to my experience as a woman and a feminist with other feminist women and I literally have never heard one of my peers espouse any of the ideals of “radical feminism” as you’ve portrayed them here. I’ve never been part of an empowering conversation that was rooted in subjugating men in order to elevate women, like, in real life. But yeah, of course there are a lot of dingbats on the Internet who call themselves feminists. This is exactly why it’s frustrating when the viewpoints o…

Hi, I’m a feminist, I believe men and women are fundamentally different in many ways but also equals. I’m really upset that someone who calls themselves a “feminist” would excuse police brutality against men simply because it happened to men. That is not feminism. Men should absolutely stand up for their rights. So should women. Most feminists that I know personally (not on the Internet) believe this, because both genders are human deserving of respect. Downvote if you want but I also feel like …
