Imagine guys putting on fake beards and fake muscles to go out to the bar. But being serious about it, not the hilarious way I'm imagining after typing that first sentence.

I've found a girl I'm genuinely interested in on tinder, but that was after tons of the most boring conversations ever with other women who seemed to be neither dtf or looking for relationship

Xanax alone can definitely help, Xanax with alcohol will make you think its helping until you wake up and your friends tell you about all of the horrible shit you said to the women in between falling over and drooling.

The second part all day. If you're not already physical to some extent then bringing her into your room to watch a movie could be a recipe for problems like this. Either get a couch (room for 2, less overtly sexual, easy to start physical contact) or move to bedroom after fun physical contact is made.

That is very weird. Call that shit dude, find out if it's legit or some dare or whatever. Let us know!

Hell yeah man! Breaking through that wall is hard as hell, and something I'm also getting through at the moment. The last few months have been exciting, and I'm sure if you take this small victory and build on it, use the momentum, you can get through this a better man than you began

I totally understand where your coming from, social nervousness has been my weakness for my entire life. I've very recently began to conquer it though. The realization that there were certain times where I was extremely confident helped me to dive into why I am nervous to begin with. I just keep trying to tell myself that if I can be confident and social in x situation then I have what it takes to be that way in y situation. I don't know, maybe it'll help you out haha I think you can do it

You asked if she was going out with him and her response was basically "we hang out some but I'm leaving it open for other guys, namely you, to come in and save me from his boring ass snapchats". Go get that!

They do, but I think they like it more when it's something you saw instead of a deflected comment she made. It sounds needy and false

If she chose the fake number route instead of just saying she's not interested then she can't complain if it immediately blows up in her face.

Haha yeah man I've only pulled that off a time or two but it's epic. I'll be honest though I was mostly just upvoting for the statues typo

Man I totally agree, this is a huuuuge problem for me. I have had a lot trouble in the past with attracting the women that I find attractive physically, and I finally realized that I was accidentally attracting the women that I didn't find attractive because I wasn't trying and was able to be naturally confident and fun. The problem is that I have deep rooted ideas of what I want, it's nothing extraordinary either so it should be possible yet I've had a lot of trouble finding it. I have had to t…

This, all day. I'm 6'2" and the best make outs I've had were with girls who weren't even eye level with my chest/nipples. Pick them up, grab their head with two hands and guide them onto their tip toes, etc. Maybe I'm just a fan of really short and skinny girls (ok I definitely 110% am) but it can work. Just think, she's got to work to get up to you so if she's doing it you know you've got her wanting it.

It's all good man, no worries. But all I know is that girls definitely view it that way for whatever reason. I don't fully understand it and feel the same as you, but it seems to be true. I've had the same trouble in the past and lost one of my closest friends for a few years because I told her I liked her. I imagine it has most to do with the fact that women have to watch out as half the population wants to have sex with them, so when they find a guy who doesn't push for sex they open up and ge…

What's the other option though? Disrespect the boyfriend by continuing to hang around, potentially leading you on and hurting you too? She could handle it better, don't get me wrong, but she's put in a weird spot

This is a great post man, thanks! This mirrors advice given to me a couple years ago by the most successful guy I've met, and I mean mirrors it perfectly. This guy is goofy as hell looking, not even close to that standard handsome guy but his text game and real life charisma is blinding. He gets these crazy hot and incredibly smart girls almost as an after thought. We get drunk together one night when I'm having some trouble with a girl and he coaches for a few hours when everyone else was gone.…

I went to school when conservative ideologies infested my high-school Biology book. Each one had stickers added to tell the children about creationism and about how evolution is "only a theory" because the neochristisn conservative movement decided science didn't belong in the science classroom and the uneducated Sunday school teaching parents knew better than guys with PhDs in biology. It was a national debate, but probably wasn't covered on Fox.

When many people won't even ask for a number, yes it's a win. Learn from it, try to figure out why it was so weird and why you were so nervous.

It makes me wonder though, does the "I have a girlfriend but still want to fuck you" thing help in some ways? Someone likes the guy, so some weird value added. Plus the sneaky shit turns some girls on. Id love to see this same experiment with average guy pictures. Two accounts, different pictures but same guy, one says he has girlfriend one says he doesn't. Which one gets more responses? Could do the same pictures but the girls may notice since it'd match from the same pool of women.

Haha yeah man I'm sure I would be surprised. I've honestly surprised myself several times recently with how well I've been able to initiate and maintain conversations after a lifetime of anxiety. I actually did OK for myself over the 4th weekend, and having a girl talking to me wanting to hang out has motivated me hard to get things cleaned up and taken care of. Motivation to keep things proper has been a hurdle, but i am taking it one step at a time like everything else. It's great how success …

Once you have a number, have made a good impression, etc moving forward without looking like a douche. How not to worry about living up to some false standard created in your head. How long to wait and what kinds of things to do with the girl once you have the number.

I can tell you the thing that's made it easier for me to start things up is that I just stayed busy entertaining myself and my friends regardless of whether i had a girl. Get some culture, you know? Went to tons of shows and festivals, fairs, art stuff, know a lot about different movies and good TV (I've met more girls from random game of thrones discussions than is fair), parties, good food, traveling, learning things for fun, etc. It's almost like I built confidence just by knowing that hey i …

Haha yes it does man, but I've found that when I have success the temporary confidence let's me get through that real easy. Problem is that fades and then back to anxiety and whatnot. Honestly I'm not too afraid to approach and talk, I've been busy in my early life and have a lot I can talk about. My anxiety stems from moving it further and making it physical instead of just friends

It's the simple concepts with proper explanations that keep me coming here. Thank you for this, I like it. One question, once you go in and introduce yourself do you always go for the handshake, or what? Any indicating factors for when you shouldn't, or should do something else? Some girls I've approached are very receptive until a handshake comes then it's like they are confused or something, not wierded out just confused? Conversation goes well afterwards but it's obvious sometimes they don't …

Nothing man you're a goddamn hero. I just went on a cruise and failed miserably, simply because I didn't try. Feel good about it and feel good about knowing that she had a blast too

Everyone is saying not to but I've known people who made it work with relative ease. The guy would start conversations with girls he knew briefly or used to know years before, girls he had highschool crush on but never talked to, etc. These girls were ones that would comment on shared friends pictures and stuff so it wasn't completely random. He would just send a very almost light-hearted jokey message saying basically "I hate to sound like a creep but you're incredibly beautiful/cool/whatever a…

Just do the sacrifice right in front of the girl that rejected you. You save on the back and forth from the pyramid and now you've put the girl in the position to be questioning what to do now.

Great response. Definitely a balancing act between not being a douche and not being manipulated, which is a balancing act I definitely need to work on
