2	How do we ensure gender equality at niche indie-rock festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza? Bring in Top 40 artists like Lady Gaga and Beyonce. The author has no idea what they are talking about. The reasons these festivals are male orientated is due to the genre being male orientated, if you want go the type of festival she is talking about she should look at V-festival in the UK. As a music fan who has been to many festivals and gigs, gender means nothing, if your frontman or frontwoman is sub par they are sub par.
