Switching to my monger alt for this: I don't know why I did this but I told a friend about my "hobby" and she eventually got dollar signs in her eyes thinking about being a sugar baby. She is convinced, like pretty much every woman likely is, that she is irresistible and a very good conversationalist. This naturally translates to "I could make three times my salary being an escort but I won't ever do it, cuz reasons" I also think she believes she can make decent money for doing jack all, like th…

Tradcons are always trying to swindle men into being disposable cucks. Confusing mgtow for r/marriagestrike has always amused the hell out of me but I don't say much about this on this sub bc everything that isn't xxx seems like some form of concern trolling, and then what happens is that we get shit like tradcons infecting the place bc nobody can say shit to anybody else. Well fuck that. MGTOW is about men doing whatever the fuck they want, and you can't do whatever the fuck you want if you hav…

It's easier to teach a man not to marry - we operate using cost/benefit and it is easy to show that marriage fails the cost/benefit analysis. Women also operate using cost/benefit but the cost of being an induhpendent woman nowadays is too high. Why work hard when men will fall over themselves to give you free shit? Because there's a wall, and post wall if you don't have your shit together, you'll be invisible to society and can't capitalize on that sweet sweet pussy pass. That's probably not th…

I think there's something to be said about mgtow "inner game" - many different men will have different prescriptions about what we ought to value (say, buddhism, which is pretty popular here) but ultimately the point is that we are free men and should seek to shape the world in a way that is pleasing to us, while we still can (still alive, or still young enough to do so) Personally I'm a fan of keeping your head down, making money, investing it, quitting early (and don't tell anybody how to do s…

So you gotta look at OJ's situation. He's paying $25,000 a month in alimony, got another man driving around in his car and fucking his wife in a house he's still paying the mortgage on. Now I'm not saying he should have killed her... but I understand.

it's not frequent, thank god. Honestly the last time was last year - I went to the office and met somebody from a different department. He asked the usual boring questions and when it came up that I was single he told me to get married. ASAP Shrugged it off with something non committal. For most people it's some crap they talk about bc they're boring

Bear in mind the community though - it's full of white knights and the like. If a 4/5 rated escort got such an allegation I'd also imagine that men would come out of the wood works saying "I've been with her recently. am clean" But my scenario is hypothetical like yours. I'm not convinced it's that easy - I'd have seen it at least once in my days messing about on TER

i don't mean to say it's a nihilist philosophy, but I just find pre/post nihilism to be similar ( possibly in my experience moreso than a universal thing ) - pre mgtow you have this dogmatic blue pill belief and post mgtow you have to forge your own path, similar to existentialism as i understand it anywho.

I don't know jack shit about what this entails but I'm going to make what I believe to be an accurate prediction: OP will study and learn a bunch of shit. I've put up with a lot under the excuse "the market is a weird and unpredictable thing" but this is fucked up. Either these types of outlandish articles are not the norm and doesn't affect the bottom line or there are enough customers that simply don't care that they'll click on anything. Or: the stocks are keeping the company afloat. Either way, I don't see them tanking. The market has spoken in one way or the other that this is a profitable business strategy *throws up hands*

now they're spinning that MEN are the ones who want to get married but can't? Men don't want to get married. They can get "the milk" for free and it is almost always the female who demands marriage. If the man could get everything without marriage they would almost always take the path of least resistance I say "almost" always because the only sect of men who demand to get married are the religious right, bless those fools.

I've always considered "orbiters" to be harmless white knights that will share resources with my gf (when I have a gf anyway) - they aren't going to be successful at getting anything but blue balls and they will keep giving her resources so I don't need to. If you start shit with your gf she might listen to you but it will strain the relationship. She's already respecting you by not messing around or leading them on

Nobody in r/personalfinance will get me a straight answer but I get this impression in USA that the interest rates are higher than Canada. I got a 2.09% APR mortgage and my friend with higher / better credit rating got a 3.x (probably low 3.x but still, at least a percentage higher) This means my heloc (which you shouldn't be spending on nonsense) is about his mortgage rate, and my unsecured line of credit is his heloc, etc, all things being equal. Still, great life advice toward the bottom. If …

Even when I wasn't fucking escorts, the idea of putting up with one person who suddenly had monopoly control of my freedom and assets and had unilateral rights to fleece me of my worth was a stupid idea. The blue pill men who are left fending for themselves hamster the fuck about how their situation is not indicative of the norm. Many "Chads" are the party and settle down types even if they say otherwise. Same for "I'm never having kids" types who actually mean "not having kids until I meet the right person" Maybe your friend was never the bachelor type and it was a matter of time. Maybe he got married during a period where he was susceptible to the provider mentality. Either way, you can't fix it - if you told him to get divorced he'd attack you in defense. Sadly this means hoping for the best, which I've sort of resign…

There's this "cure all" for oneitis called "fuck ten women" but a lot of the advice is lost in favor of being terse. Say instead, you argue that every man needs at least two plates. When plate 1 is acting up you ditch her for plate 2. If plate 1 goes cold, you have a backup. This doesn't work if you constantly value plate 1 over other plates and your own self respect. Plate 1 will walk all over you and all the plate 2 sex isn't going to change that. In my experience oneitis can only be cured by …

I'd caution against being overt and open about your intentions, regardless of the intent. Telling everybody you're going your own way because awalt is a recipe for disaster. Ideally nobody should be able to figure you out, while you keep doing your own thing. I have a friend who thinks my standards are too high. Vasectomy ftw. If I ever quite fucking escorts I still won't get married and can't make children As long as I don't move in, so far this is enough. If that changes I'll adopt and evolve. I will caution men who can't/won't get snipped to at the very minimum take ownership of their sexual health. Use condoms. Dispose of them yourself. Know what barebacking can risk. I'm on my wall to early retirement. If I ever got divorced and lost half my money or was taxed for 18 years via child support, I don't know if I won't commit suicide (inb4 just be stoic you moron) It's not the only reason not to get married, of course, nor is it the most pressing. marriage is just a covenant - it takes two, and the ceremony itself has no bearing on the result (fail or pass or however you interpret it) two people who happened to live together until they die will not place responsibility on the fact that they got married for why they stayed together so long. You can still have monogamy without marriage.

I'd hazard the guess that a sufficiently gynocentric society/country will eventually get attacked, since gynocentrism is useless against patriarchal societies. Shit will hit the fan, and either the gynocentric society will get assimilated with the invading culture or they will "man up" and fight it off; either results in regaining some semblance of patriarchal power. Patriarchy becomes quite powerful and the men become complacent due to peaceful living. Gynocentrism becomes prevalent. Repeat as …

And if you try to bring this up, they (BP, I guess) have all these apologetics based on disproved/discredited arguments. Anybody who thinks a pre-nup can save them should try to write "don't use guns" on a piece of paper and then walk around in a warzone Laws are subjectively evaluated edicts that have no power on their own. I get over jealousy by not claiming anybody as "mine" I think there's a trp saying that "it is your turn" - when her attention is on another man, unless she's doing it disrespectfully toward you (like while in your company), it's that dude's turn. If she starts talking about your friend while you two are together, for example, that's disrespectful. But in both cases the reason to react is due to the disrespect. "Allergies" are just a hindrance like "being short" and "not being white" - you can work around it or use it as a scapegoat for everything. My brother has food allergies and it didn't stop him from socializing or having friends. That reminds me: are you scared to go outside because of your allergies or just scared of socializing with women? If the former is fine and the latter is giving your grief, unfortunately you've allowed it to justify your inaction. Stop that

If we put our morality aside, the response to Negan, both in-universe and in these examples of women flirting make sense. In-universe, it's like a conqueror coming in and slaughtering all of the men of a village. The women of the village, while justified to be outraged, will have to join the conqueror's tribe and/or be his concubine or risk certain death. While the actor isn't actually that sort of man, women will still respond similarly to his in-universe character, no different than women thin…

Meh. Your living situation can't be changed - but I would strongly suggest you move out at the end of the lease. Deal with it: cohabitation comes with these problems and it's rarely worth the convenience. Almost want to suggest you hit on women and get some even as a backup for when any of them plays games on you. When you have one partner, she controls access to all the sex you can get. I'd be surprised if that ever happened. Being a blue pill / beta provider does provide access to reproductive success / sexual access. It's not as optimal / successful as other strategies, but clearly it works for the majority of men. So as a thought experiment, men get convinced that being beta providers is not in their best interest. But not every man can be top dog / alpha either. Red pill is just a perspective - you accept sexual politics, some aspects of evo psych, gynocentrism, male disposability, etc etc. Some men accept this then decide the game is too rigged to bother with. Other men acknowledge it and use it to enhance their interaction with women, hopefully always being cognizant of the inherent risks. tldr mgtow and red pill go together. mgtow aren't blue pill, for example

I'm going to be nice and say that yelling and venting at an ex is cathartic, but absolutely useless as a means to anything useful. So enjoy your catharsis and go no contact. Even months or years down the road if she contacts you, by then two things would have happened: nothing you did today is going to matter that much and you would have improved your life so dramatically her existence isn't going to matter. Then you can decide to respond or to ignore her. I'd ignore her.

Brad Pitt should take lessons from Leonardo DiCaprio. But on topic, how many of you saw this coming? Makes no bloody sense. Even if you personally think that Angelina Jolie is attractive, looks fade and she will get old. Getting married to a depreciating asset is a bad idea. Getting married to a depreciating asset that can unilaterally end your business arrangement and take your assets? That's idiotic business sense.

I was glad to see the top comment at least mentioned that a man should get a background check on their potential partner before marrying. Assuming TRP isn't universally against marriage, or even if they are, it is prudent prior to a business merger for "due diligence" - a lot of men do not bother doing this, and that advice is too little, too late. At least the person can serve as a warning to other men who have incentive not to be a chump. But now it is too late for him.

Yeah, not from USA. In Canada, buying sexual services is illegal so there's no big difference ultimately. But if I were in USA and wanted to visit an escort, I would be all over TER to ensure I am with a legit, well reviewed provider. It also limits where I would visit / live, if I were to consider living in USA. I wouldn't stress it. But if you want, tell her that she's insatiable and you need a breather - maybe she can orally service you tonight instead

just don't go monogamy with them. Always have somebody on the side - then drop the single mother when the drama is more trouble than it's worth

I feel like you only want Stacy because it's what you can't get - she has become a challenge. But by chasing her, she will run away, figuratively speaking. You even described her as not ideal and lower tier than Karen. Re evaluate your rankings

There's no need to see her unless you have things to return. And even then there's no need to converse. Once you've given her things back, block her phone number and delete it, remove her from social media and then go forth into the world. It is now your oyster to do with as you wish

A part of me wants to say not to let this cancerous blob ruin your job, but if you are perfectly able to quit without being ruined or crippled, by all means, do so. From a slightly sadistic a perverse perspective, if you quit, the remaining team would be crippled. A consideration might to be leverage this to your advantage.

I wouldn't bother personally, but if you are still willing to give it one more shot, up the ante and insist she come over to your place (or however you do things) If she isn't willing or flakes again, you have your answer. But I'm willing to put money on where this is headed

Money has its uses. But it isn't necessarily to gain power or fame. In fact some rich folk try to avoid the power/fame goals. The takeaway really is that rich people could easily be chumps. Money does not necessarily command respect, so like most things (ie you just need confidence, bro) there's no one size fits all solution
