/r/MensRights05/07/17 12:07 AM

Statistically I'm shorter than you. I'm also not white. I can either focus on these two things and complain incessantly, or I can get over them as I can't affect them in any meaningful manner and focus on what I could improve upon. Yes, there's probably prejudice with race and height. But I'm reasonably successful and part of the reason for that success is that I don't wallow in what can't be changed. For the reader: yes, you won't be part of the 0.01% but as sure as you are allowed to invest in…

I'd suggest to leave her and not worry about any comeuppance or future lessons learned by her. She won't learn. As an aside, my first girlfriend messaged me in '15 or '16 I've forgotten, out of the blue, saying she was thinking about our (hilarious excuse of a) relationship and that I genuinely loved her blah blah blah I didn't reply but I did screenshot and posted it on my wall and had a good laugh. Going from 180 to 160 in two months is amazing. It took me four months to go from 165/chubby to 145/small (not lean per se) so it's amazing to see somebody get 2.5/lbs results consistently. What's your long term goal?

There's this persistent fallacy that financially successful men are romantically successful, for lack of a better term. Furthermore a lot of financially successful men think that they can apply the same skills to women. Disaster ensues

I told my BP friend, who was pestering me about my singlehood, that if I ever made xx thousand dollars I would never get married. I don't currently make xx dollars and I'm still never getting married. My point is that if I got a windfall (actually I'm about to) it would just make it more difficult to find a compatible mate. OP you probably are willing to settle for dating down, financially at least. Depending on your future windfall, you might not even need a life partner except as a luxury item…

No to both questions (yours and op). Your sex drive does not change and your ejaculate does not change. All a vasectomy does in Eli 5 language is cut your sperm tubes so your sperm doesn't leave your body during ejaculation. All other bodily processes remain normal

I had a single mother basically throw herself at me and while I still had a backbone enough to tell her off and dump her later when she was acting all retarded there was still a multi month misadventure where I acted all nicey nice. Not quite blue pill but because I was monogamous I couldn't just bugger off and fuck other women. I think this is where I disagree with a lot of red pill men who try to justify monogamy - you give away your power by giving one person monopoly control over your life. …

The last sentence basically sums up my observations on this topic. Sure you can legalize prostitution but the price of pussy won't crash. There's p4p pussy and then there's monogamy pussy. The latter is its own commodity and priced by its own rules. It's too bad because my hypothesis was that legalizing prostitution = less simps. Sadly, no. But that doesn't mean legalizing prostitution is pointless. Guys that won't get married can still profit. Let the blue pill idiots have their overpriced wome…

strippers won't have sex with you (or if they do, the price is inflated as fuck) but still, they're cheaper than a divorce by a long shot. At least you know what the deal is with a stripper/escort. For some reason men put on dumbass goggles when it comes to "girlfriends" and then we see this bewildered stupidity when they get fleeced.
/r/MGTOW08/04/17 01:25 PM

It's funny how this goes. My old oneitis from high school is a year younger but she looks much older than me now. Conversely I still look to be in my 20s easily (turning 38 this year) A lifetime ago the blue pill me would have done anything for her and now I just think about this topic and laugh. I'm sure it's possible for a woman to delay hitting "the wall" but it doesn't sound very fun to me, or them. Hell, even the younger girls I know now are steadily hitting the wall. I hear ya. Would recommend keeping it on the down low; that story about a woman trying to oops her man might be fake, but with more and more men getting snipped, it will definitely happen to at least some men.

It's the Reddit/online version of Facebook, where you pretend you are the shit so strangers you haven't met will like your posts
/r/MGTOW03/04/17 12:01 AM

If I find out somebody is a father, say, during introductions or some shit, I lose respect for the person immediately. If fatherhood was ever a position of respect, it isn't the case any more. Been complaining since the 90s that media is destroying the model of the head of household. Nobody listened. Now society mirrors television and fathers are nothing more than disposable wallets. Don't do it. Waste of time and money better spent on your passions and goals

Not every friend needs to know that I find Donald Trump hilarious and amusing, that I hate Hillary Clinton and think that sex politics has gone crazy. Still, there are friends I've lost. /r/MGTOW27/03/17 12:01 AM

You can get cuddling from escorts. You sound ignorant of sex work. You can also get cuddling from platonic cuddling/friendship services. Not saying I advocate either but the service exists

The subtle point here is that by saving and investing, mgtow men are giving back to society. But done on their terms, not through redistributed wealth or any other bullshit I'm planning this path too. Need lots of $$ as old age home isn't cheap.

When you reduce a woman to economic transaction that isn't monopolized (sex work vs marriage) you'll be shocked at the effect open competition has on service It's a pity it isn't possible to apply open competition to the civilian world. Maybe if men collectively refused marriage?

I like the idea of pets because I dislike children and don't want any. But you have reminded me that women who have pets will act like single mothers. I think I've just looked the other way the entire time due to some inability to connect the dots.
/r/MGTOW19/03/17 04:45 PM

I'm still shocked they ended up apologizing. It wasn't much of an apology (something like donating lots of money to a male domestic violence clinic would be better IMO) and they went right back to being vapid

so wait, they post this publicly? So I go and see a callgirl and she will create a thread "ryeshoes was polite and a good tipper" or "ryeshoes is a time waster don't waste your time" ? The latter does exist but is usually private between call girls, you're right. not sure how i feel about that
/r/MGTOW13/03/17 02:45 AM

Uh, this is normal? If I book an escort she is going to want to make sure I have seen another lady and wasn't a psycho. What I'd love to see is a "rate this girl" review board for civilians. Is Susie Johnson from UCLA a psycho? Post about it and warn other men.

1990s was the age of Simpsons and Married with Children. Simpsons, where stupid idiot white male Homer Simpson fucks up every episode and unemployed but morally superior Marge and her haughty and insufferable daughter Lisa gets to look down on their meal ticket. Married With Children was ahead of its time. I would consider it the precursor to mgtow, with no ma'am and Al's constant argument not to get married. Unfortunately I went from pre woke to blue pill until I got older. The point is the 90s…
/r/MGTOW26/02/17 05:48 PM

I've seen that the president tends to justify to the population the positions and policies he endorses. George Bush encouraged war hawks and Obama encouraged SJWs . If Trump continues snubbing msm, #fakenews will continue to be a thing, and every last one of them will lose polarity and reliability. I like this move.

back in my day the term that might best describe an incel is an AFC - average, frustrated, chump. The AFC figures out (what we now call red pill) - sees a hint of the evopsych and economics of human sexuality and instead of being motivated to game the system, realize how stacked it really is against them. I was told that there's this progression - you start from ignorant AFC to "eyes opened" and then through blood and tears figure out how to game the system. Some AFCs know what's up (they're red…

I figured that you lived outside of most westernized countries when you said cars cost more than homes. In every economy there are expensive status items. If you don't need these items (and a car depreciates in value regardless of starting cost, most of the time - you aren't buying a Maserati in SA) don't spend the money. There's nothing in it for you. One day, out of curiosity I checked out Facebook profiles of old girls I used to have crushes on or were attracted to. On topic, my four year long high school crush looks like a plain Jane at best, and is how you'd imagine somebody a year younger than you once you are fast approaching forty (I'm 37) She's not like your crush OP, but she has gained weight and looks her age. I on the other hand still pass for somebody in their twenties. I will however add the caveat that just because a party girl …

I wonder how mgtow men who want kids grok that idea. Some advocate surrogacy which tends to still favor privacy (the examples of men getting sued for child support were due to clinic incompetence iirc) but that's really only an option for wealthier men.

Measuring BF% alone isn't the answer either. You could be underweight and 10% body fat or fifty pounds heavier and 13% body fat. The latter "looks better" and is more practical/functional Anywho, OP is right - men tend to have higher muscle mass than women which allows them to carry excess weight better. But both will end up looking like balls eventually.

Grass looks greener but it's still grass. If you can't give up females I suggest at least immunizing yourself from negative consequences. Use condoms. Get a vasectomy. Don't get married. Don't share property. Don't cohabitate. Control your emotions.

In my mid twenties I went to Hong Kong all by myself. I spent the day working at my uncle's auditing firm and the weekends partying. Another relative gave me access to their condo so I had all the time to myself. Obviously I am not suggesting everybody so exactly this, since it may not even be possible. But if you can afford to, travel by yourself and spend that time either alone or socializing with strangers. Too many people live in their own bubble and don't get exposed to other cultures and l…

Would suggest however that you use your athletic popularity to get as far as you can with girls but tell them that you aren't ready to go steady because you're too young. Laws are only meaningful once a judge is involved. If you study there, I encourage you to use the code against any demonstrators, if anything just to prove me wrong. The facts of the case are idiotic - basically she got buyer's remorse for quitting her job to get married to rich boy. It would be like a man being promised by a woman that if he dumped his "plates" and they got married he would get three servings of sex a week. Turns out she reneged before they got married so he sues her in court since he cannot go back to his previous lifestyle. Naturally the judge would throw the case out, because man = no pussy pass

It's not about getting laid, though they do attempt to parlay acts of good will for pussy. IMO it's that they cannot compete in the sexual market place so they have created this "karma" that comes from being a white knight, and so they can judge other men who are more sexually successful accordingly (and obviously, be "better" than those men) Chad had sex with Susie and used her, but I was there for her when she cried. Therefore I am a better man.

The couple hadn't seen in each other in more than 15 years, but had never divorced. I was wondering what legal logic would allow this to happen and there you go. Also applies to married couples - if your wife has an affair and fathers another man's child, usually the husband is required to pay child support if they split up. Not really a solution to this except to change the laws and maybe consider never getting married

A person not holding frame, for example, would be an underling at work getting chewed out by his boss and not being able/willing to stand up for themselves. Don't confuse attraction for egalitarian feelings - the feminist is hamstering and will go back to her fundamentalist feminist ideology as soon as it is socially rewarded. See, this is the exact thing OP was talking about. mgtow is about men going their own way. That means engaging with women on their terms, not according to the terms of society, family courts, women, and the terms of the mgtow police. But whatever. Clearly the opinion is unpopular around here.

"you" is an emergent phenomenon that has no permanence, even within the same organism. "You" could easily disappear if "you" got dementia or alzheimer's. The concept of the self is fleeting and even within the same organism can be dismissed as irrelevant.

The point of life is what you make of it, because the moment you die, you lose it all These are just physical / objective concepts that all organisms capable of introspection deal with. How to deal with it? Nobody can answer that for you. Try hedonism, or self actualization, or suicide. It doesn't matter, because eventually you'll be dead. It's the same reason why nobody will help when something bad happens, but if some people help, more people will follow. Edit: missed your comment about gender. From elsewhere: In terms of gender, males show around half the effect of females (tested in same-sex groups). Conformity is also higher among members of an in-group.

mgtow is a general term for men who are rejecting traditional expectations of men. This could include being accommodating to being treated as disposable, to rejecting gynocentrism, as well as the popular marriage strike to avoid family court shenanigans. I'm conflicted on this argument. On one hand we clearly know that society is biased AF and so a jury of "peers" would behave no different than a jury of racists or a police force. On the other hand the "theory" is that by having jury trials you take away the monopoly power that would be otherwise given to judges. You can't have jury nullification without a jury, for example. Exactly. Marriage is a (voluntary, bizarrely) legal contract in which infidelity is punished. Strangely, its benefits can be mostly obtained by a variety of other legal contracts, with the exception of things like visitation rights and tax "benefits" (we'll fuck with your budget and money less if you beta up and get married and have kids) A small price to pay for access to your own resources, imo

Social shaming is useful. Not only when done by women, but also by men. Women shame men who use prostitutes for a number of reasons - because they want access to that man's resources, because they want some woman to have sole control of that man's resources, because a man who is not afraid to use prostitutes is able to take away the one thing women have over men: monopoly over access to sex. Speaking of, this is why there's shaming of men who do not kowtow to monogamy - a man who has multiple pa…

With regard to the topic, all variations of "social contract" are snake oil bunk. You are not obligated, in any shape or form, to do anything. There are no obligations to life other than to be limited according to natural law, for lack of a better term (you are limited by physics, and scarcity) Thus, you are not obliged to help women, to treat them nice, to be disposable, to engage in gynocentrism, to accept monogamy as the sole source of access to vagina....none of that. Fuck that noise.

If you can get an online copy or a used copy, I encourage you to read a book called "The Manipulated Man" It was written by an Argentine-German feminist (yes really) by the name of Esther Vilar. The gist of the answer to your question is that men are treated as disposable commodities because it helps the species propagate its genes. Women = eggs + womb = very limited commodity = precious. Men = sperm = infinite supply = easily replaced.

Not necessarily. Trying to sell goods and services at too high a price eventually "corrects" itself because the entrepreneurs will go out of business. Their assets get repossessed by creditors and banks then sold back to the market. We don't need to get married and have children. So it is entirely physically possible for everybody to go mgtow, refuse to have children/get married, then die off in a few decades. I doubt it will happen, so the "correction" will probably take the form of women prici…

Delete her phone number and block it. Delete her off facebook. If you have mutual friends it's harder. Uninstall facebook and disappear for a while (going through this but with very annoying drama causing crybabies in the form of white knighting psychos, I can confidently say that deactivating facebook can cause more problems) but the important thing is to get over her and move on. If it helps, she messages you only to leech emotional validation. She doesn't want to get back together.

Disagree. mgtow is sexual selection (of sorts, since mgtow men don't have sex to have children) not a genetic mutation. Mutations can affect sexual selection but are more relevant in natural selection (mutations creating beneficial alleles that assist in successful reproduction) mgtow men don't care about reproduction and sex politics.

There's lots of ideal relationships. It would be hilariously demented to think that 100℅ of relationships are ones where the man is either openly or secretly unhappy. However just because some people win the lottery doesn't mean everybody should play. Or more apropos, just because your mother or grandmother was a nawalt doesn't mean you need to get married. Or: hey guys I figured out a way to survive Russian roulette who wants to play?

I entertain ideas like a bachelor tax and other such things as plausible but how can men minding their own business be hate speech? Do you mean verbalizing that they are going their own way? I think if expressing mgtow sentiments becomes illegal (unconstitutional, will probably be short lived or end up being a social, not legal deterrent) then men will just silently start ghosting the system. mgtow was around before the internet and it will continue regardless
/r/MGTOW25/07/16 12:14 AM

You can pay for pretty much anything you need. Cuddling is inexpensive, like...a dollar an hour minute? Treat it and sex like maintenance, or upkeep. Some mgtow do this, referring to fapping as maintenance to keep their mind sharp. I guess it's not as amazing as a Disney romance, but the idea of happily ever after was never something you can expect from your life. Life is harsh and merciless, not a fairy tale with everybody getting their waifus and prince charmings.

Have seen enough women hilariously throwing up and making fools of themselves. Oh right, that's the joke
/r/MGTOW25/07/16 12:09 AM

A system that cannot perpetuate itself will be doomed to fail. So, a society that refuses to breed (or kills their citizens in too large a number) or an only-this-sex society that can't breed will be on a ticking timer. That said, once we are able to reproduce without having sex, and when that tech is cheap enough to compete, an all male society might be feasible.

I thought that female suicide rates were lower because they have better support networks that justify their hamstering and enable their behaviour / externalize blame. When everybody tells you that it's not your fault and showers you with help, you don't feel like killing yourself. kids cost a shitload of money and rarely end up being financially profitable. I am confident over 99% of parents have children either ignorant of this or well aware of that fact, and do so anyway for other reasons (probably mostly due to social and tax benefits) However, I have better things to spend my money on. Other people can raise kids. Not my circus. Not my monkey.

overrated life script nonsense. If they want kids so badly they can adopt, or better yet, foster a few dozen children (at local prices, that's about what it would work out as) What's better - risking financial ruin for one/two children or keeping your money and being able to raise 10+ kids?

I think it's both. In the intactivist community there is a focus to change the descriptor to "intact" rather than "uncircumcised" because the latter implies that circumcision is the norm. Friend of mine is about the same age as my youngest brother - 26 this year. A couple of years ago he got this girl pregnant. A year before that during annual camping trip he was talking about how he "should stop having unprotected sex", indicating at least a cursory understanding that what he was doing was idiotic. The point here is that while this person has messed up his life, he hasn't ruined it completely. He's not really gainfully employed - but he could be. In fact if he hunkered down he h…

She doesn't look skinny even in her best pictures. You can tell from her cankles in the top picture and the bottom picture she tried the myspace angle but it didn't cover the rolls. But at least you didn't get her pregnant or marry her. Just consider it a colossal waste of time and make due with the rest of your life.

No offense to Christians ( I really dislike mocking religion - much rather enjoy mocking atheists ) but the idea of raising good, christian women who are chaste and whatever needs to die. The concept no longer applies and failure to accept reality will result in a mid life crisis brought upon by realizing one has traded freedom for beta bucking. Those "nice girls" you know from class? China has (had? thought about?) some pretty innovative ways to handle female-initiated divorce, at least the way my parents told me. Apparently when a no-fault divorce is initiated, the party that paid for any properties/assets keeps them. There's some sort of bizarre cultural pressure to get into debt. When you are "old enough" you are supposed to move out and get your own debt, because keeping the money within the family makes no sense whatsoever. So now you have a family unit of say, 2 parents and 2 children, and eventually that unit will carry 3 mortgages instead of a more affordable 1 or 2 (and larger homes to boot) I'm not advocating that everybody do this - some situations do not merit living with the parents. However if it…

A lot of men on reddit and to a lesser extent youtube (though..you know, youtube posters) have interpreted flooding the market with "female competition" (VR porn, artificial wombs, prostitution, etc) as a good thing; it will affect female monopoly power over the things they've historically controlled thanks to their biology

"oh, she's a total flake, but if you get with her, she's great at kissing" (Civilian) women would HATE that, because review boards keep them accountable. Yeah I'm not getting this. I get that OP is in a bad place and it's not cool to kick him, but giving women the vote directly led to today's third wave feminism special snowflake princess syndrome (that really should be hyphenated) unable to cope with criticism or critical thinking. Women love to use the government to get their way - especially since men are opting out of marrying at an early age. If you can't see this you're in for a rude awakening

Eight years? How old are you? Under 30? Under 40? You still have many years left. However, if you owe alimony that's going to be a tax on your savings that you surely can't afford. Good luck brother

A smarter man will do what people do when pressured to give blood: specify to the blood clinic not to use their blood (this doesn't stop the actual needle > bag process though) What's more amusing are the men who will happily vote for Hillary because they'll get kudos from women.

My view is that they simply have more of a culture of doing what you promised. From wiki (as context for my post) - "Prostitution is not strictly illegal in Thailand, though solicitation and public nuisance laws are in effect. In practice it is tolerated and partly regulated. " Granted that it's not illegal, or whatever, while there's rarely repeat business, the general market opinion of "thai prostitutes" needs to be good, or there will be no repeat business as word-of-mouth spreads. You want to re-read the thread, mate? I said at the top that demanding sex because you dropped money is equal to rape
/r/MGTOW14/06/16 05:45 PM

I'm not saying that the escort is allowed to take money and then not offer sex. I'm saying that you can't toss money at her then demand rough sex or to do things she's not comfortable with. Paying an escort does not entitle you to sex. You'll get your money back and that's the end of it. If she takes your money and tries to run, then that's BS.
/r/MGTOW14/06/16 05:40 PM

ITT: a mgtow defends raping prostitutes
/r/MGTOW14/06/16 04:34 PM

I'm just not a rapist. That's what escorts deal with but to have the mentality that you deserve sex because you dropped some money, then to try to defend it. Whatever.
/r/MGTOW14/06/16 04:29 PM

Maybe you can stop being vague.
/r/MGTOW14/06/16 04:17 PM

/r/MGTOW14/06/16 04:11 PM

She sounds bitter. And she's specifically addressing men who seem to visit prostitutes to be white knights - I have no sympathy for those men. Yes, escorts often fake their enjoyment. Who cares? Are you really there to try to entice orgasms from her, or to get orgasms yourself? Sex with escorts is about the only time where male entitlement is expected and encouraged (well not encouraged..normal, typical) And yes, she looks way past post wall and delusional. She became an escort for the wrong rea…

Open competition tells me that God of War is higher valued by the man than the girlfriend. Therefore, if the girlfriend wishes for attention, she should produce something that incentivizes higher value than God of War 3 (which is still a good game today!) Of course when women hear this they will just demand that laws get passed that limit man's access to video games.
/r/MGTOW14/06/16 02:59 PM

Western Wife doesn't have to sleep with you - an escort doesn't either (that would be rape, sir), but will do so in far higher rates and perform much better Western Wife / Civilians have higher incidences of STI/Ds than well reviewed escorts who have an incentive to stay clean Escorts will simply not spend time with you when you don't have cash. Western Wives will continue to drain money from you long after the relationship has ended

platonic cuddle buddies generally start at about a dollar an hour (and you don't have to cuddle. you can pay them for companionship). Which is pennies compared to escorts and especially girlfriends and wives.

How much money do you make OP? I know somebody who charges a few hundred dollars to spend the night sleeping with you (just sleeping) - which is pretty cheap considering escorts that are any good start at 200-250$ an hour. Unless you have some sort of requirement to have somebody at home every single day you can indulge in a platonic companion whenever you absolutely need it. The investment is trivial compared to the money you'd spend on a girlfriend (GF in a serious relationship on average cost…

Don't try telling any of this to a young feminist. They will throw everything at you and the kitchen sink. "You hate women" "You want to keep women barefoot and pregnant" "You can't handle women that don't need you" so on. I'm ok with all that. I have seen what time does to them. The joke is on them. This applies to blue pilled men as well. Some BP men won't listen to your argument (I hesitate to call it "reason" or "truth" or anything silly; it's just a perspective or argument, a point of view)…

It's obvious isn't it? The nordic model criminalizes being a male "John" while making it empowering for women to sell sex. Proponents of the nordic model will finally state that "hurr durr trafficking is illegal therefore it's okay" I use the same argument for decriminalization (you can legalize prostitution because hurr durr trafficking is illegal and so is theft and assault/battery) but get shut down. Whatever.

But value is subjective. Nobody is ideologically consistent since ideology is personal. Say you are Christian. Why aren't you a Puritan? If you are a Puritan why aren't you Catholic? Clinical, descriptive answer: Validation occurs internally regardless of stimuli. "internal" validation, at least from what I can glean from colloquial usage are self created rationalizations for perceiving a result as beneficial, profitable, etc. External validation occurs when the rationalizations are collected from outside of one's mind, and is ranked higher than one's own created rationalizations. ex: you think you didn't sing well, but everybody told you that you did great, so you listen to…

It has to do with culture. Women feel they are supposed to make fun of men, and so nobody within their little in-group is going to call out the rest. If you had a woman by herself, and she wasn't a complete shitbag, she might feel concern. But put her in a group of women laughing at a man falling out of a window, and she'll be laughing just like everybody else. My friend is a cop and he tells me that taxi drivers hate it when single (as in singular) female passengers hop into their taxis, because they are more wont to scream sexual assault as a means to avoid paying their fares. You can stick a camera into a taxi owned by a company that needs to have ten million dollars to operate in a major city, but a guy all by himself delivering to a woman's dorm or what-have-you? That's too expensive. Makes perfect sense.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eternal_sin Eternal sins or unforgivable sins or unpardonable sins are part of Christian hamartiology, which is the Christian theology of sins. These are sins which will not be forgiven by God whereby salvation becomes impossible. One eternal or unforgivable sin is specified in several passages of the Synoptic Gospels:[1] verse 29 in Mark 3 states that there is one sin considered eternal and that is "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit". Ahem: The holy spirit can go f…

Children A hundred years ago children were an asset: they would work on the family's land, tend animals, expand territorial reach. Result: family wealth increased, heirs protected the lineage. I got my parents to agree to this line of thinking (or explanation of events) - back in the day children were part of the labor force, and in disadvantaged countries, child labor is normal. The alternative to banning child labor in those countries is to force the children into more dangerous work environme…

the tl;dr of why basic income is terrible (assuming it is something like a negative tax) is that there will be two pools of labor: unskilled / low skilled and skilled/low supply labor. The skilled/low supply labor is obvious: they get paid more money and won't deal with negative income tax. The low skill / high supply / low pay laborers? they can't get out of that pool, because employers do not have any incentive to train them link

God forbid we hold females accountable for their actions. If a woman is arrested, there's explanations why she was led down some "immoral" path. And god forbid it's a woman charged with statutory rape - why, not only is she not to blame, but we grant the boy child moral and legal agency to offset the woman! Otherwise we'd have to blame the woman 100% (like we would if a male adult slept with a female child) If there's one consistent pussy pass we grant, it's that adult women can rape male boys w…

Also if you looked around one day and realized the legal mess you got yourself into, you'd say anything and do anything to ensure that the party with the ability to unilaterally destroy you doesn't think anything approaching that line of thought. It scares me sometimes because even if we try to define marriage as similar to an employer/employee relationship where the employer cares nothing for the employee, at least the employer cannot financially destroy the employee.

Society dismisses female "moral agency" (the word moral is a misnomer. when I say moral agency I mean that the agent is held accountable for their actions. Nothing wrong with being alpha as a strategy for acquiring access to sex, but if you are combining being alpha with being a monogamist, I have no fucking idea what sort of cognitive dissonance is going on, but monogamy = female controlling access to sex. The "hurr alpha" is capitulating to the female and a bid for her affection.
/r/MGTOW20/05/16 10:39 PM

meh. If access to abortions and birth control were more readily available this wouldn't be necessary. All this does is make it the state (and the taxpayer's) problem.

actually this hits closer to home. Is it better to not complain (at least publicly) and then to continue living one's life free from the stresses of society? or is there no harm in communicating gripes about the state of the union? I'm talking more like in our personal lives, on social media. Should we follow that rule of power that suggests not to voice what we think but to say what everybody else says?
/r/MGTOW20/05/16 10:24 PM

Well yes, that I can get behind. The way women are treated with respect to law creates a situation where they bear no consequences for their actions - those consequences are passed onto the taxpayer or other men. If it were at all possible to get rid of those perks (and I would guess that's the realm of the political MRA) then sure, women would not be able to do what they do. However I posit that women will just do what they do differently There have never been a golden era where men had it good…

mgtow are men going their own way. Going their own way from what? From women. Hence the constant female topic. If it were say, men going their own way from government (anarchists) then the topic du jour would always be government this, government that. Or how atheists always discuss theism instead.

It ultimately doesn't matter but you did waste a year - people at your age tend not to worry but a year opportunity cost is pretty significant...well it will be significant if you ever think upon it in the future "what if I had graduated a year earlier? would I be a year ahead of where I am now?" If you don't think you'll worry, then that's the end of that.

As an aside, since I don't think this merits my own thread, What exactly is Stefan's position on mgtow? You can't treat everybody the same way - that would imply that we could impose values on individuals' own valuations. Even equality under the law is a pipe dream (we clearly see this in family courts, though in practice women get lenient sentencing and the like, because the law is interpreted, not absolute) When I was in my apologist mentality I mused about the idea of having a computer dictate justice. There's evolutionary pressures on both parts. If you were sleeping with a woman who you knew had a monogamous partner, in order to improve reproductive success certain strategies could be employed. Limiting her immediate access to the other male(s), for example, will prevent her from having foreign sperm to compete against. Similarly, if you were in a monogamous relationship (god help you) and you suspected infidelity, supposedly the ideal thing to do is to have unprotected intercourse in order …
/r/MGTOW17/05/16 06:42 AM

/r/MGTOW17/05/16 06:38 AM

I've never wanted children so the concept of a man who wants children baffles me. That said, there are many ways to obtain children (phrased horribly) without resorting to marriage or even monogamy, and without child support. The man will just have to be adamant about it and have access to more resources. IMO it's still cheaper than child support and loss of custody but as I do not want children, the cost/benefit aspect of it is lost on me

She's referring to Sperm Wars (Baker) which only seeks to describe what happens if there were multiple partners involved in sexual selection. It's hardly evidence that one ought to engage in sperm competition unless confirmation bias counts as proof of an ought.

Regardless of our opinion on male contraceptives there is a sort of arms race between men and women (call it evo psych or sex politics or economics) and vasagel and other reversible contraceptives will be part of that arms race. The law can try to prosecute bystander effect but I'm not convinced of whether it works in practice. For example Quebec has within its laws a positive obligation to help people. I suppose that if the society is willing to help (and often it is) then the law is not needed. When nobody wants to help (say, in China, where you could be sued for causing harm while helping) then a bystander law that obligates may not help. This is just a clarification question - Briffault's law as I understand it states that women determine the conditions of the animal family. However, post wall women tend to have low to zero sexual market value. Value implies a valuer - a person making the decision. If a woman relies on sexual market value, isn't the male the chooser? If not, then why do post wall women exist? Perhaps then that briffault's law only applies when a woman is in demand?
/r/MGTOW14/05/16 06:57 AM

"forever" is only enforceable using the law. In the past it was the church and societal mores which put pressure on lawmakers. Nowadays there's no enforceable "forever" relationship - divorce can be no fault and if you don't marry breakups are always possible. This is fine on its own - if we had enforceable, private marriage contracts. But we all know that the marriage legal system is fucked up and in favor of females. don't get me wrong - I don't think any combination of laws is going to suppre…

mgtow as a term has several definitions. personally I just find the marriage contract ridiculous and something no man should ever sign (but men sign it, cuz they thirsty) Then as I continued to age and collect capital I realized that even if I did want to change my mind I'm too old for that. A child at this point would force me to work into my 70s and anybody who wants to marry me better be able to retire in her 50s (be able to, not want to, and I'm certainly not paying for her early retirement)…

The only way to get back to the way things were is to regress technology so that certain variables aren't available. It was poorly written but if you think about it, people go on maternity leave all the time and we can't stop them - if we fire them and replace them with competent, WORKING people, the company gets sued. I'm not one to advocate getting rid of maternity leave, but if any father/mother can take months off just because they knocked somebody up, why can't single people take months of break for whatever reason? It's just an incentive to have children with no economic consequence acting as a disincent…

I'd love to know this as well. If military men use escorts while on leave why do they always get a wife when they return? I hypothesize that it has a lot to do with the positive social reinforcement that military men get (ty for your service and all of that) - so a man who is in the military who is about to get married will get all sorts of positive reinforcement. Then when things go to shit they have nobody to turn to, because after all, they are disposable men. I've seen both sides of the coin…

If there's such a thing as being hopeful, I'm "hopeful" that the trends that I have observed and are now a part of will fundamentally change the nature of relationships with women. And I don't just mean hookup culture and the minority of women who get old and seek monogamy as a crutch to maintain resource acquisition. mgtow men do not have a goal - we can't say, for example, that we're doing this to decrease the population rate or wish for human extinction - though yes, with enough mgtow men tha…

I'm not sure what the counter argument is for mgtowers - basically, if you disagree with the idea of not having children, then there is an imperative ("moral" or otherwise) to have children. So let's say that we live in a society where it is very risky to have children - "ought" men have children regardless? I'm not saying that the mgtow position is to refuse to have children - it is after all individuals going their own way, but it seems to be a soft corollary to abstain from creating children,…

It's legal because laws are just concepts enforced by humans. If you want to change this (and I applaud that you would) first don't circumcise any of your children - so that hopefully ends the long line of circumcisions in your family tree. Second, just promote intactivism in your life. Post anti circ content on your social media account if it's safe to do so. But mostly #1 does it. #2 without #1 (unless you don't have children then I dunno what else you can actively do) is just puffing hot air.

it means that selling sex is not a crime, but buying it is - it's the nordic model. Essentially they are trying to criminalize the demand for it. The context of this was supposed to be some sort of market anarchism, but it's still a correct explanation of events: When a society is crushed by an invading force, the survivors of the society who aren't killed by force can either opt to continue to rebel or to assimilate into the new (de facto "surviving") culture. We see this in the image in the OP and throughout human history when one tribe decimates the other. One could argue that women who fail to do this do not successfully reproduce - f…

if enough men didn't want women invading their turf, they'd stonewall them from entering guilds, and the women would quit as they'd not have access to the easy attention. But there's more than enough simps to go around
/r/MensRights04/04/16 01:22 PM

While I'm totally okay with this, I do see top rated guilds and teams establish male only rules: isn't this something that men can police on their own? I'm not sure what the issue is here tbh.

before when I was a monogamous bill pill popping fool, I still had the inkling of not putting up with crap like that. When a woman goes into a store and I know she will be there for literally hours (really, anything above 20 minutes I cannot tolerate) I will walk out and hang out at a video game store or do whatever I want. Which would be fine if the communal life = less taxes for those not part of the community. As it currently is, those who do not have children (the homosexual, the childless/free, mgtow, and bachelors) who own property waste tax dollars on children. Parents are the biggest freeloaders.

It's up to you - you can try claiming that you have a prior obligation (and make it a good one) in order to avoid going. But I've gone to many a marriage and was genuinely happy for the people getting married (and the weddings where I didn't give a shit, I didn't go) - if you are against the marriage, I wouldn't recommend going as you wouldn't have a good time.

Cease communication with her and be ready to contact a lawyer (even the act of finding a criminal defense lawyer is a proactive thing you could be doing). What has been done regarding talking to her has been done. Can't do anything about that. Make copies of everything she sent you. Especially if she incriminated herself or is inconsistent. Either way the idea is to not deal with this person ever again, and if she actually tries to call the cops, you are prepared.

Not doing something today is opportunity cost you cannot recover. It will make tomorrow more difficult. For example let's say you wish to retire early to enjoy being alive without dealing with the drudgery of work. The paycheck you spent on fun today will have to be saved again in the future. On a similar note, if you want something, go for it now, not tomorrow.

I plugged in some random numbers for lulz (assumed 100 dollars per week eating out and 200 dollars for 'things' (for example, the cost of private school for a single mom's precious baby)) and 10000$ annual spending, which btw is undershooting it by a ton - worked out to 755$ per sex, even if I had sex 3 times a week. There's definitely a complete lack of good male role models. In fact, the only one I know from contemporary media is Rick Grimes from the walking dead, and he's only useful because society broke down and while there are strong women (because really, everybody has to be strong in that world) I feel that it's only accepted because the situation the people find themselves in demands good ol' patriarchy. It's not always the case but I suspect sometimes people who shame "confirmed bachelors" (the old term before mgtow was fleshed out) are jealous. There's tons of men and women who will swear up and down they are happy and content to be married with children but you only need to listen to the ones who lament while drunk or in a moment of weakness to see how bad it can get. /r/MGTOW13/03/16 05:12 AM

It's one thing to be alone (not lonely) but depressed; people will think you make sense. God forbid you spend lots of time alone and are content though. Society will think there is something wrong. But if you get married, have kids, and complain about your regrets even in secret (or better yet, openly) you are normal. If that is normal, I don't want to be.

Suddenly I found a person who more often than not was willing to hang out at a bar for a few drinks after work. They begin at critique because it works. Living in a largely gynocentric world, the argument essentially boils down to "you're not pleasing your master" which is supposed to get blue pill men to realize they have angered their overlord and must fall in line. Whether it is marriage or having children, working a job you hate to buy stuff you don't want or need (just to appear successful to women), once you stop caring what women think, you can start doing what you want to do.

Not only the baby, but what ends up happening is the taxpayers foot to bill (again) when the mother inevitably ends up on welfare or assisted living, or ends up dragging down her family's finances. iunno - I'd much rather live in a world where access to sterilization was more readily available. We wouldn't deal with this issue if men/women were more unlikely to be able to produce children, even if they used contraceptives.
