But can't unsay something you said in a normal conversation, so why should you be able to online. At least have the decency to just say "Sorry, I said something stupid" instead of deleting it and pretending it never happened. If a person shittalks you shouldn't just let it slide.

That was a great video. Good work, it was easy to understand and a short fun video to get a counter across!

The netherlands is not that tolerant anymore. Not even close.

That statement makes me mad on so many levels. I personally would not be that scared to open up to females as much as I would be scared to open up to males. It is not that just one gender is forcing these roles, they both do while females are more open in showing emotion, but also more open in comforting people. The way you talk that woman should be rewarding men is very wrong in my opinion. A man should not be shunned or have any negative effects for opening up but the reward for that is feelin…

It's an emotional story brought for the most part in a poem. the poet speaks about how she encountered men in her world that couldn't not open up emotionally at first because of the gender roles, but how she got trough to them by the way of writing and love.

having sex wherein I am penetrated in any way Gay marriage is totally legal where I am from. A men being penetrated doesn't directly mean they are gay. Take a look over at /r/Pegging.

People that are serious about male rights don't use the word meninism.

Well the girl was actually right tough. The pill also gets used for other things then just preventing birth control. But comparing Viagra and the pill is comparing apples to pears. One thing is for being able to get sex, the other one is for preventing pregnancy and used to treat unstable menstruation cycles. If the argument would be why lube wouldn't be supported and Viagra is then there would be a point.

That might be all true, but you should not cross out an option out of fright. Recently malala got a nobel prize for fighting for education. She did not back down even when she was shot.

but on that remark, why even go outside. you might trip and break your neck. Of course it can end up worse then actually going on paper, but college is to educate. It would be wrong to lack the need for knowledge because being scared of social stigmas.

well, saying that is even a bitchslap in the face of woman because we tend to believe woman are not equally strong while they could be.

I agree with this a lot. Even on this sub there is a lot of bashing on feminism for the parts we do not believe in. Even on the discussions were males tell feminists that we have the same problems it is seen as derailing their movements. If we would understand better how it is to live as a female, and they would understand better how it is to live as a male we might actually see how much more alike our problems are and fight for a common ground. I had a discussion with a transgender (female to m…

I think you should have a good long talk with her and tell her what you told us. If she really cares about you she will try to find an actuall solution togheter with you.

a group shouldn't be categorized by the name but by the deeds and believes. If a 4th wave of feminism is fighting the same problems as the MRM does then it wouldn't matter wich name we slap on it.

This is a great read, and I understand why the reds would like to see the pinguins because let's be honest, pinguins are sweet as hell.

I like to disagree with you on your statement. A lot of male developers have been going around in controversy, but the thing about this drama is the censoring that happened. By trying to stop the discussion it only got fueled. An example for me is Phil fish. There has been drama around him not working on fez 2 because he gets too much hate and nagging trough social media. Altough he has a point, he has not handled it very well wich only gave him more of a negative image. For me this is also happ…

Well she is toxic for your welbeing. I don't feel like men's problems are talked about besides the MRA. Even on this kind of comic we should be able to say hey, we feel you, our problems are close to this, maybe we can fight this togheter? There is so much more common ground between feminist, not the extremist ones, and the MRA then we seems to admit. It feels like feminism is wanting "equality" but still want to be looked at in a seperate vision.

So she falsely acused you , took your childeren just with her, wich in my country could count as kidnapping, is not paying child support and just gets away with it? Justice where are you ?

I do understand your point but she did drive there, under influence, with wanting to go wild on the party. She went there, chugged half a bottle herself and then went and proceed to have sex while being under influence. I do understand that she did state before engaging sex with one of the people she said no, but she did not seem to stop or say no while she was having sex. She did not mention she wanted the people to stop filming or taking pictures. She did say she did not notice that she had sw…

Mental rape would go a bit to far for me. I think they have the right to disagree and have different views, but she is of an age that she knows what she says. Ofcourse they try to say this with good intentions for the girl, and I completely understand that you want to protect your child from making the wrong choices. But without making wrong choices you will never know what choice is a good one.

Altough I understand that they want to make the law in protection of childeren, that should not be enough to change thedefinition of consent. Also consent works both ways so the law really needs a change if they want to actually make it work fair for all the parties.

I am still baffled that when consent is about sexual interactions becomes a new definition. When a girl say she consented to it, how can you still say she did not. Also, apparently there were boys below 18 too, and nobody talks about them not being able to consent.

I was being sarcastic. Hate should not be embraced therefor you shot not behave hatefull to them too. Grow up and act mature.

Well you might have got a wrong feeling about me, but I am not a feminist. I do believe females have the right to have a moment that fights for their rights just as much as men do tough. Both groups may not agree with each other but that isn't going to get better with name calling. Therefore I think it should actually be a good thing that some of the more radical looking feminists actually want to go in discusion with people they are advocating for.

So you start hating and disrespecting a hate group because they hate and disrespect ? Your logic seems to flawless.

I am not implying the voice for man is solely man. But when you are advocating male rights in this way you still make your party look bad.

"Instead of insulting the women who started the hasthag, let’s start a real discussion as to why women see feminism as threatening. Let’s start questioning their belief systems and pointing out the reality of the lives of women who do not have similar privileges." I actually see an invite to discussion to other females. I don't see them towards males because the subject specifcally is about females against feminism. I believe outsiders may partake in a discussion when it is mature and from the r…

not to resort to insults, just to select their targe well it isn't in my opinion. There isn't being said target man, but target a specific group of men. A specific group of men that in my opinion should not be using that hashtag in that way.

I feel like their debate is about what feminism should mean and what the agenda should be and if feminism is still a valid movement in the female society. I think this part of self reflection is important. Also I think this fits with your idea of how they should work in the future. Feminism took a time to get going, it will need time to step on the brakes.

Honestly I do agree with you on a certain level. There are some arguments made against men that might be misplaced and not needed. Some of those parts are parts I don't agree with but I am sure there are some points otherway around too. I am already glad they actually are trying to get a logical debate instead of name calling.

No, I am saying you are making males look worse for me trough that comment. Wich is actually pretty spitefull since this is mensRights.

I don't really understand how this is an outrage. The post is trying to stear the discussion on feminism between females into a mature direction instead of the name calling. I think that is actually a good thing since women probably take more out of discussions with women then man. I believe there are some viewpoints that are not really correct from my kind of view but I don't feel bad about them. Also the last part is mainly telling that if you want to act immature then do it against the people…

sorry dude, but you are doing the same right now. The person writing this up is actually tryin to convince their feminists to be better and to actually debate. There are loads of points that I do not believe as to be correct but I can feel she tries to get this gender issue into a mature light. You however are calling them hateful cows, and are feeding the bad image of man with it. If you want to have respect for your gender, give some respect to their gender too.

I think this story actually is pretty good. At first I had a feeling this was actually against men but the further I read the better it gets explained. There are things most men do not understand about women. We simply don't and I am not going to pretend we do. In that way we might be more considerate to women in how we act so now and then. But with that being said it has to be from both sides. Women don't understand men trully. They don't understand how it is to have our troubles and fears. I d…

It does not have to be wrong to be join a feminist movement when you are male. But when you can not voice your true concerns to them it is. But the same thing can be said about MRA movements, if you try to be part of it and your voice is not heard you should not dwell amongs the people you consider your friends.
