No no, I totally understand. I meant I came here for genuine justice, not just "wamen bad."

Awesome. I'm a woman in support of equality here to see radfems get what they deserve. I'm sick of "feminists" using their genitals to get the upper hand. I'm with you, dude.

Absolutely. Thanks for the engaging discussion bro. I'm gonna get downvoted if anyone bothers to read but I upvoted you anyway because these kinds of chill debates are really cool. It got me to realize I don't even know the true intentions of the guy! The girl is still immature though.

I think this all likely depends on what he and the women consider "real men" to be. That's why I'm miffed he didn't explain or educate. If it's physical (which I assumed from the context), then it's understandable. If it's a mental/emotional thing, then they're not comparable to begin with. Fake boobs and hair don't change a person on the inside. You can still be genuine inside and want to be with people who are also genuine inside, even if you change your appearance. (My not-so-useful opinion a…

He's implying women have to meet certain qualifications to be "real" women. (He is generalizing too, contrary to what you're saying, but tbh I don't care. Nobody got time to clarify every damn sentence.) He doesn't even bother to explain why it's a double standard. He doesn't explain what "real man" means and why it's bad. "Real man," no matter how equally unrealistic, is soooo different from "real woman," and many women don't know about it. So a misogynistic statement plus not even helping out …

It works with men who genuinely feel threatened by a lack of sex, which is realy weird and sad imo. It didn't phase the guy in the post, because he also has standards. This is totally not a pass denied. This is just a juvenile moron reacting to a misogynistic asshole.

Man I don't have enough to even consider awarding something. I don't wanna think about how much money went into that post lmao

People are just trying to spread it like wildfire since she's so worried about her friends finding all the YTA votes. Awards will help that, but upvotes should really be enough..

The highest comments are not only YTA for the consent, but also for whining about the rules. Hence her whiny edit.

Top comment is YTA but has a nicely awarded reply of ESH because slut shaming and confession shaming are both shit.

I'm pretty sure only boys, maybe adult Chads, would feel that way. Any mentally stable adult would not find it funny nor be phased by it. These women are just..childish to say the least.

I wouldn't peg her for a misandrist. She seems like she'd be eager to become a housewife. As if her future catchphrase will be, "SAHMs should get paid!" should she ever get laid.

That makes a lot of sense. When I used tinder (I'm only 21 so this isn't a "oh you kids" thing) I operated completely opposite of your description. I don't know if it's due to a mental issue, or if everyone truly operates differently on dating sites. I wasn't interested in empty bios, and I was extra interested in people reacting to something on my profile. What I'm thinking now is, maybe it's the difference of people looking for dates vs hookups. A hookup wouldn't care about your profile right?…

I do agree with most of that, but what does it have to do with the post? Why would someone be "interested" at the very beginning of a conversation on tinder? Or even through a longer conversation, having not met irl yet, basically not even friends yet. There is now a deleted comment, so maybe I'm missing some context. The only thing that seems off to me is, most people have lives. They have jobs, school, time needed alone or with friends/family. That includes most women, and I assume anyone on t…

Without context this was really confusing. I feel like explanations need to be hella voted up. I deadass thought this chick accidentally hit someone, tried to remain at the scene, and then got the shit beat outta her. But even with context it's weird.

Well excuse me for asking about what topic y'all want. If this is still about Joker and Birds of Prey like I assume, not much has been said about my opinion other than disagreement. If it's about other movies, you're out of luck because I don't keep up on things like Ghostbusters (but yeah, it looked dreadful.) If you expect people to do something with absolutely no specifics or topic, your underlings at work must be ripping their hair out.

Sooo are we talking about all movies ever now or the two mentioned in this thread?

I don't entirely agree. Yeah, your average feminist probably doesn't just so happen to be skilled in script writing. But I don't think it's about exploitation, just the fact that she's likely not a cinematographer. It's a pretty standard train of thought. And it's not destroying the fandom (yet), because the movie already in the works seems to be growing the fandom. The only way it's "destroying" the fandom is via uptight guys peacing out before even seeing the movie because reee wamen. We won't…

Kind of reiterates my point, it depends who you ask. I don't think it's a concern right now, others do. Go check more comments for those who say "it can happen any time" if you'd like.

To answer your second question, many say it's constantly a concern and that you never know when it could happen. Folks against Trump in particular would often say it'll be soon, with his sporadic threats.

That's my point exactly, all the time vs an hour. Some people would consider that more "geniune," but who knows. I feel like the biggest concern here is people who don't understand sugar relationships at all, regardless of if it's similar or the same as prostitution.
/r/PussyPassDenied04/12/19 02:05 AM

That's correct, but it doesn't fit the definition of a prostitute which is the profession in question for most people here. Sugars are more full time and long term, escorts and prostitutes are per event. Sugars are said to be actual dating, just with money involved, but frankly I'm skeptical on that one.

I feel like people are forgetting it still doesn't require sex
/r/PussyPassDenied04/12/19 01:40 AM

That makes more sense, for sugars to be like escorts rather than prostitutes. Kind of like a sliding scale of "how involved do you want to be?" Phone sex op, prostitute, escort, sugar baby, real relationship.

I made it pretty clear I know nothing about prostitutes, just about sugars, but I highly doubt you'd take a prostitute on vacation

There are only a few differences, but they're worth knowing. I wouldn't want to get caught up with a sugar baby if I'm ever just looking for some booch. Sugar relationships can be online, which would be more like a premium snap girl/phone sex line. They can be "romantic," with paid physical companionship. Even if there isn't, they will say there is. That's the legal loophole, you go on a date, (fucc,) and receive a "gift." But prostitutes deal only in cash (I assume? Maybe drugs I guess), no gif…

I do appreciate how well they both handled it, I'm just waiting for some sort of "holy grail" discussion where the participants present great arguments alongside being respectful and reasonable. I'm also waiting for this level of respect to become standard. Aren't we all? From what I'm seeing in this clip (no, I dont regularly watch this Peterson guy), he dismantled her reasoning without pushing for the opposite agenda. He knows her generalization doesnt make sense, he doesnt need to use it agai…

I know you're messin but I really think that would be nice. Teaching my homies what an effective discussion looks like (or...doesn't look like) is important, especially with new wave feminism

"Mansplaining" exists but this sure wasn't it. I'm a traditional feminist so this guy did great imo

She was reasonable and calm, sure, but that's the bare minimum. I was incredibly disappointed in her strategy and generalization. Is this woman supposed to be a major feminist representative??
