For the most part you will be OK. Most menus have either a bunch of pictures you can point to, or they may have an English menu. I was more worried before I left but when I got there it was pretty great. Just go!

i would disagree on screening out the girly girls. you would be surprised who calls. the look on their face is priceless sometimes when they offer their number and you basically turn them down and say nah bitch, take my number and call me (obviously not the words). sometimes i have had girls say "huh? your number?" and then i have responded with "yes, if you are interested you will call me." works 60% of the time, every time.

i had better luck reversing the gender role and refusing numbers and giving mine out. its all in the setup, and making it somewhat clear that if she is interested she can call me. 2 things came from this, i dont worry about getting screened, and the number of calls that i got started outnumbering the times i got screened. i have said this once before on this subreddit and i got a few objections to it, but like i said, its in the setup. she doesnt call? move on, and you cant fuck up something tha…
