I may have mentioned this in another post. This is what is supposed to happen; however, this is not what actually happens. Any defense attorney can tell you this about sex crimes: if you don't prove that you did not do it, then you stand a pretty good chance of going to jail because the prosecution will attempt to sway the jury's emotions. It will. Criminal convictions are at a very high legal standard. Alerting people to your location when you need help helps in the short term. The audio recording helps in the court case. Most people will stop doing things when they discover that they are being recorded.

So there are two groups that you identify within the system: emergency contacts (friends, family, etc) and nearby helpers (everyone else who is within a 10km radius, who is also using the app). To these two groups, you can choose to give them the following information: GPS Location (default) Profile Picture Name Address So emergency services are not called i.e. the police are not notified; however, people within the area and the person's emergency contacts are notified.

So there is a huge legal aspect to this app. It is illegal in most states to record someone else; however, it is not illegal to record oneself. Additionally, when users meetup, they can bump phones and then their profiles become interlocked. It is impossible to use the recording in case since people will immediately be alerted to the area. So the most important thing is that rape victims are actually getting help. The recordings are to help vindicate innocent men.

I think that's only part of it. I agree with the author of this text in that these are only symptoms of the problem; however, I disagree that [The problem is] identity politics underpinned by moral relativism, to see through the destruction of western values, the family, national identity and even the rule of law. I think we need to boil it down to something even simpler: it is people vying for power; politicians aligning themselves with some group in order to gain/maintain a level of authority …

This is very interesting considering the rape endemic in India--they have an app call VithU that is endorsed by the India government to help curb the issue. So are women looking for others because their husbands are raping them? And I believe that they still have arranged marriages. Perhaps this is the reason for the high number of cheating female spouses.

The feminists like to say that a woman can orgasm during a rape, but this does not mean that she was not raped. Okay. So why is it not possible for a man to become aroused when he is engaging in unwanted sexual intercourse? If a female can become aroused while being raped, then so can a man.

This is terrible; however, not uncommon. I am in the US Army and I know for a fact that the Army is guilty of fabricating "evidence". This is why people are so hesitant to move toward a digital system because it limits their ability to do this.

I think it's complete BS that women are allowed to get away with something like this. If they were men, then they would be guilty and immediately sentences; however, the fact remains that they were all consenting. The guy was getting what he wanted and the women were getting what they wanted... where's the crime? Did any of them feel slighted by what happened?
