This is a thing that's weird lol. Sure I get some girls use well off guys for dinners... but this question is relatively innocuous. Ofc she needs to know what you do for work. We spend a minimum of 6 hours a day at our jobs lol.

You think this sub would exist if this were true lol

I mean yes but also no. A lot of guys if they could get laid easily wouldn't even bother with fitness. The redpill inspired a ton of guys to get fit in the first place. The redpill exists BECAUSE dating is brutal for any guy not in the top 20-30%.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/23 04:35 AM

Among single men that proportion is much higher. Whoever came up with the 1% of figure is nuts. If we're talking about 20-30 year olds it's probably closer to at least 10% who are fit and another 20-30% in varying degrees of shape.

You're in shape but keep lifting.

Not what he's getting at. He's saying that the most motivated go to the gym and exercise even when the circumstances aren't ideal and that it's easy to find an excuse.

I think you just hit on more women and come across as less desperate.

Yep for the average person baldness hurts much more. I'm grateful to have a decent ish hairline as I age.

Yep lol. Guy or girl you want to be set up with someone you might like and who ideally has a chance at liking you back. No shit people will get offended if you just set them up with someone that's not their type for the sake of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 03:39 PM

Yeah its confusing when people advocate for "rules" without saying what they are. Anything that someone recommends would be more in line with eugenics.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/22 07:03 PM
2

You always go back to who'd set the rules and its not going to be "average" men. It would be men who already have elite status and who'd want rules in some ways to still favour them. Honestly even as someone who is definitely average, I wouldn't want anyone setting rules lol especially on the only thing that there's a free flowing market on.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/22 05:20 PM

Regulating the sexual market in any way would only "improve" things for elite men not the average simp.

I mean sure lol but if the goal is to have more babies... its obv not working :P
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/21 06:27 PM

I mean sure lol … but if you’re looking for an LTR maybe hotness isn’t the sole qualifying factor. In those old ugly dudes cases the transaction is clear.

Religious girls do have their advantages… just don’t convert to Islam lol. They come prebaked with what their responsibilities in relationships are. Hope you find what you’re looking for man
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 05:08 AM

I mean can you find those things with the debt ? If no then yes I get it. I'm not saying that pure incel dudes with no friends etc. can go to any part of the world and find relationships. Conservative cultures (South Asia/Middle East) are out unless you're willing to convert and learn the language. But yes there are plenty of awesome girls out in different parts of the world looking for a decent likable dude and are willing to pull their own weight. Heck if you like Asian girls that's a bonus. I…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 03:39 AM

Yep. In my culture people do go back home all the time, partly because limiting yourself to your own pool in the west narrows down options significantly and a western income and lifestyle is still attractive to people from South Asia. Even in those cases where the guy is a bit more sought after, I see 5/6 marrying 7-7.5 so the difference while there isn't too massive that it creates conflict and usually these marriages do workout if the guy and girl have an okay head on their shoulders.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 03:16 AM

That being said I'd only advise this strategy if the dude has everything together in his life but his looks and even there he at least has to be average (not overweight etc). He also can't go to these places and expect a young hot super model either but expecting a girl who's above average (cute and in shape) isn't unrealistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 02:53 AM

Yep best response here. You have to max what you have to get attractive girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 01:41 AM

yep Eastern Europe if you want a white girl/ South East Asia for asian girls or anywhere in Latin America for Columbian ones.

A well groomed average dude with a good job is at least a 6 unless he's a fucked up face.

I can see that being somewhat common but it’s getting rarer for more desirable upper class girls
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 05:27 AM
1

I mean there are still a ton of people with more conservative values, no denying that. I'm from South Asia too. But most UMC marriages occur with modest (3-5 yr age gaps). Unless the dude is like top 1-5% wealthy, he's not getting a hot 20 year old at 40 unless the family is desperately poor, abusive or the girl has some flaw.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 05:19 AM
3

I can tell you straight up that its for money and most MC/UMC marriages in muslim culture are either in the same group or a modest age gap.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 03:53 AM
7

Also its not a 40 yr old dating an early 20 yr old. It's more like a mid 40s attracting an early to mid 30s year old which is still impressive.

I have sympathy too... its really hard to make close friends after school. I got lucky running into solid people after I graduated but its not easy esp if your workplace is mostly married/middle aged people. That being said having even some guy friends to go out with makes you look way less creepy. The way people seem to encourage young guys to join activities that are somewhat female dominated is predatory in a way. Like let's say a dude joins idk a salsa class. Assuming he's not a "natural", i…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/21 04:17 PM

For some reason... I think a ton of those struggling don't have meaningful friendships. Like I get it, if you're a guy who does have a solid friend group but just doesn't run into any women naturally its hard. You have to find new activities. But if you have like no close friendships then... that should be your first priority. Otherwise you'll just come across as clingy even if you manage to find a girl who likes you.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/21 02:55 PM
2

LOL personally I get really self conscious working out in front of other people esp in those venues where you can sweat a fair bit. That being said if you're social, its not a bad way to meet people.

I feel like the only culture that's still allowed to be super conservative is islam where a guy /girl aren't judged if they're virgins at that age. Regular american guys who couldn't adapt are going to struggle.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/20 02:53 PM

Plenty of women are more conservative but not virgins

I don't know in what universe he's considered average. JGL would be in the upper echelon of attractiveness wherever he is.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/20 02:09 PM

I always say that guy friendships don't appear to be heavily based on attractiveness (at best its mild) while its a common and accurate trope that the hotter the girl, the more attractive her friends are.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/20 03:43 PM

Yep its better to keep quiet in those situations. Kind of like how the rich friend in a friend group is usually modest about his income/wealth.

I mean I get your POV. If you were earning money you'd be looking for your partner to bring something different. A ton of my guy friends who are more conservative Muslims do look for stable housewife types if they're in solid careers with upward mobility. That being said I also get the girl's POV. In "elite" careers it absolutely fucking matters. I'm not gonna say people will look down on you for your partner being a housewife but they absolutely will respect you more if you end up marrying a de…

I mean her point aside there has to be a reason why male college enrollment has been dropping for some time. There is a college gender gap and its not because the ROI of college is that worse than other careers. You could say trades but that doesn't explain all of it.

Man what is the point of posts like these lmao. I've seen dudes with average faces and good physiques get dimes.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/20 07:08 PM

I rarely comment on RP posts but at least local girls tend to be honest and are used to the culture whereas girls from back home can be a mixed bag. You never know what she'll be like once she's here.
/r/TheRedPill17/05/20 05:12 AM

People don't get this. While some upper class people in islamic countries are somewhat religious the form they practice is more light so to speak and they tend to be not too far off from your average white liberal.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/20 11:11 PM

I'm as introverted as they come but I have to tell people that if the weather was warmer up here, EVERYONE would be out. Literally no one gives a fuck. At a certain point the lesson will be that next time prepare in advance, you'll just have to let people die and hope hospitals aren't overwhelmed.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/20 04:53 AM
2

Plus the post also implies that there's a lineup of high value guys who are willing to support your lifestyle. The financial arrangement in those relationships is ripe for abuse. Most successful guys want someone good looking and somewhat successful that they can introduce to their work colleagues. Some girls may still want to be SAHM but there is a difference between one who gave up her career and one who never had one.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/20 04:37 AM
5

Yeah I don't get this. I'm a mid-late 20s virgin too who's only looking for serious relationships but this is a legit terrible idea. I wouldn't be caught dead with anyone under 20 years old. A) I have very little in common with them and b) the optics are actually terrible. Her being a virgin or inexperienced does not make up for those 2 things. Thankfully I'm from a more conservative culture where even in the west girls are likely to have minimal experience if any but even then I'd choose to dat…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/20 01:50 AM

Maybe that culture exists in Eastern Europe but even I doubt there are that many virgins there. You can't simply date in conservative countries (heck the reason these girls are virgins is because their parents literally control their schedules), you have to be of the same religious/ethnic background and date them seriously (for marriage).
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/20 01:44 AM

LOL the world is shallow. At least ugly guys can work hard, raise their profile and maybe get an attractive girl.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/20 01:38 AM
1

I think this is what people miss. People aren't saying that short people never get laid lol but like these 2 examples don't give that much hope to average short guys (just become successful business owner with a great body bruh) whereas the average tall guy simply has to do way way less.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/20 06:44 PM

Bingo my parents are the same way. To date we've rarely seen an interracial marriage between ours and a related culture.

Like generally when a girl marries what I'll term a socially acceptable spouse (one from the same culture that's fully approved by her family) then there tends to be a certain friendliness towards him. They tend to get invited to events etc. There's a comfortability because he can speak the parents languages. When a revert marries into the culture, now accomodations need to be made. You can't speak your own language (even if 99% of people there are from your own culture). There's a reluctance to…

This is the real answer. Thank you. Converting to islam to get pious pair bonded woman is insane. Islam is not an easy religion to practice and the commitment it demands is something else. Reverts while appreciated aren't necessarily the most in demand for marriage for native arabs and desis (the majority of muslims) let alone the high value girls (pretty, educated, from good families) within these cultures who 99% of the time will marry a great guy within. If getting girls is a guy's only goal …
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/20 11:59 PM
1

I mean all things being equal then yes a muslim family holds a revert in higher esteem than a non Muslim but that's really not saying much. How Muslims are supposed to practice and how they actually practice the religion when it comes to family relations is very different and most first/second generation parents still raise their kids to see their own race as preferred. Families want a guy who can speak their language and grandkids who don't lose their ethnic heritage. While there will always be…

Usually posts anywhere that mention islam get their usual chorus of islamophobic comments. Thank you for setting this guy's preconceived notions straight. I swear half of the people commenting don't interact with Muslims at all or if they do its merely at a surface level. I had one guy try to tell me that somehow white reverts and Bosnians of all fucking people were at the top of the pecking order to marry whichever Muslim girl they liked even if they made basic money and I'm like???? You're 100…

I'm from Canada. Generally what I've seen is that most cultures don't really mix and if they do its not that common. For the most part your average pretty arab/desi (varies by group) etc. girl is 95% marrying within her culture (regardless of who she sleeps with- if anyone). While a girl's requirements for men of her own culture can seem unreasonable she's not exactly going to give them up for a 60k a year white guy unless they already knew each other and she brought her parents around to it. I'…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/20 04:18 AM

LOL ok let's rewind. Let's assume that some of those conversions were genuine and the ones who weren't are probably unhappy. You have to realize the vast majority of muslim girls (including the hot religious ones) generally stick to their own culture with the ones these guys married (while on the surface submissive) likely got into the same things most white girls do but to a much lesser scale (n count <5). I mean your bias against Islam aside unless these guys married these girls from the mothe…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/20 07:24 PM
1

I mean I'm from a conservative culture so any really lol. That being said for me its more than 5. I can maybe look past it if the girl compensates in other ways (beauty, career) etc. For more mainstream culture my expectations are in line with yours. 5-10 is reasonable, 10-20 is high ish and over 20 is high. I think there's a tendency to not be 100% honest so if the number is 5 they'll say 3-4, or if its 20 they might say 10-15. But I don't think the deceit is too large.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 10:05 PM

People seem to forget this. Sure some girls engage in a party lifestyle and get around but a lot just go for one relationship after another and settle down by mid to late 20s. Most woman’s n counts are bad but not THAT high. Most girls I’ve asked were straight up about it and I generally ask first or second date. While I’m sure people lie most girls just aren’t ashamed of it and can still find a decent guy they like being honest.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 09:41 PM

Otherwise its a brutal grind to land one of those competitive jobs even though accounting itself is a solid career.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 06:00 PM
2

You make good points. I'm in finance and while I would've been okay long term in the fields I used to be, I ultimately made a move towards something more strategic and sought after. I generally say people who are ambitious and talented will get what they want and do better with degrees but not every college grad is (heck most aren't).
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 05:44 PM
1

Sure. It's a secure job no doubt but what does it cap out at even at the manager level? 100k? and that's probably in a HCOL area where white collar professionals could be earning way more. If that's the wage in a LCOL area then sure I can see them maybe marrying a teacher or receptionist but that's sort of the upper limit. I agree with your second point, yes maybe compared to certain majors the ROI is slightly better but once again a college grad tends to have way better upward mobility. Compani…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 05:30 PM
2

Yep on some level these women know that even if guys don't care how high their n counts were that its better to not give any indication of it especially if they want similar high quality men.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 05:23 PM
1

I agree with this it's very rare that the guy finds out especially if a) it's a big city and b). the women is not an idiot and is discrete about it. The stories where the guy finds out often happen if the girl goes back home to a smaller town or her friend lets something slip which once again most people are smarter about. I care about n count but even I accept that even if she did lie to me, I'd likely never find out. Regardless I choose to believe that most people are somewhat honest about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 05:21 PM
1

Yep status tends to be a mix of income/education and career perception.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 05:03 PM
1

I mean everyone looks at earnings at a point in time. But what about the future? A college educated grad will always be able to obtain a higher level position. What about the person who drives forklifts? What's his best case scenario 10-15 years down the road.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 05:01 PM
1

I mean Alberta is the exception to the rule. Even in Ontario its rare to see a tradesperson dating a successful white collar professional (maybe more lower level white collar jobs are obtainable). Agreed college educated women in general want people at the same level.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 04:57 PM

I mean for people making really good money the money plumbers and electricians make (unless they're particularly successful is meh).

Partly because the face doesn't change as much as the body as it ages.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/20 07:28 PM

Face and height plus an average body can still get you look. Still for an average guy hitting the gym helps increase the quality of girls that date you overall.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/20 07:11 PM

I can imagine. Most guys don't want to hurt the people they like having sex with or love.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/19 08:01 PM

Huh explain the edit?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/19 07:05 PM

Yep... like there is an awareness that it's going on but these girls aren't being loud about it afterwards. Maybe once people graduate the behaviour changes a little?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/19 05:14 PM
8

Honestly I went to a solid school up north and rich asians/white people go nuts at clubs on the weekend. IDK about lower class women but UMC are just more discrete. They don't really hide it per se.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/19 03:18 PM
21

Has no one here been on a college campus? UMC party just as hard... they're just not so public about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/19 03:08 PM
6

Yep. People tend to underestimate how much being bubbly and charismatic helps even average looking girls and guys. A girl could go from a 6 to an 8 if she's really charming. Heck while shy attractive girls get into relationships they still tend to struggle more compared to bubbly girls of equal attractiveness.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/19 04:34 PM
7

LOL people on PPD exaggerate personal experiences but this is spot on. Guys aren't blatantly rude to unattractive girls, its more an annoyance to talk to them unless you absolutely have to and even then the conversation is to the point and with minimal small chat. Heck even when rejecting them romantically, when we tell our friends its more like she wasn't our type lookswise as opposed to calling her ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/19 04:31 PM
1

I agree with you man and it's a global phenomenon too. Cities just have more attractive looking females both by sheer population density and soaking up those who move there for university/college. Quality girls in small towns are usually married and most guys are sufferring.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/19 04:22 PM
2

People really don't get that genetics can be a complete crap shoot. Girls could go from looking like babies at 22 to middle aged moms at 33.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/19 08:17 PM
1

That guy is definitely above average... at least a 7-8 and a 9 if he works out.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/19 08:03 PM

Yeah taking turns is obv way different from mooching off of someone. Come on now.
/r/askTRP10/06/19 05:50 PM

Honestly I hate those types of work functions too but so much about a promotion isn't decided on performance but how well you can get along with those at the next level above you.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/19 05:49 PM
2

Which would make sense. A lawyer who starts off making 180k in nyc isn't the definition of balling out but a partner who pulls in millions is definitely not upper middle class. At that point (assuming he/she has managed money well) they're in the upper class territory.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/19 05:30 PM
2

Yep this. As you get older you just HAVE to care less (otherwise you won't be able to date anyone). It's only really mid 20s guys and guys in their 30s who date younger who at times have choice in the matter so they can be a tiny bit picky. By 40 even if you're from a conservative culture, the girls will likely have 1- a few partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/19 05:28 PM
1

Yep as a person, I don't look down on lower class girls or guys, it's just that they're not dateable unless they show significant upward mobility. If my sister was interesting in finding a partner she'd feel the same way.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/19 05:19 PM
1

To me upper middle class represents well earning professionals such as lawyers, doctors, accountants etc. These people lead comfortable lives but still frankly speaking need to work for a living. Middle class and lower are those who may or may not have a degree, make average money in less upwardly mobile jobs. UMC kids go to good public schools or on occasion (if they're between that and high class) private schools but that's really it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/19 05:06 PM
1

Maybe not this in specific but you'd want a partner who can hold her own at a work party and get along with your UMC colleagues and boss. If she has a say less "refined" demeanor, I can understand why a guy (or girl) wouldn't want them around. Your partner is an extension of you and could impact your career.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/19 05:00 PM

Thank you for a well reasoned comment. You're 100% right about the advice being contradictory and confusing.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/19 05:01 PM
3

The last point hits home. Thanks man.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/19 02:24 PM

Yep with most of reddit being white/asian, black women rarely factor into their calculations. They're all about attractive (7 and above) white asian and occasionally indian/arab girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/19 01:25 PM
2

I thought in most cases guys are more flexible in what they find attractive as opposed to just aiming for a very specific type of girl (who can be hard to get).
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/19 12:54 PM
2

I'm a muslim and for a culture that has a ton of children heck I don't want any more than 2-3.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/19 04:35 PM
1

And even then its a case where the guy is average but the girl is maybe slightly below or a case of his friends knowing that he's not going to keep her around.. No one will care if two ugly people get together.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/19 04:29 PM
2

I hate to admit this is how it works in the arranged marriage market too. The girls and (to a lesser extent) guys single in their late 20s and early 30s often have some flaw or were too picky. I've seen so many pretty girls who got into relationships at 18 and never got back out.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/19 07:23 PM

Height and maybe muscles? might as well be the only universally attractive traits but I've seen gorgeous girls with guys who's faces weren't all that great.

Seriously as someone who doesn't drink, I know budlight isn't the best choice of a recommendation but is it really that bad that you can't suggest it?

When people say LTR I think "I'm committed to you until we're incompatible" not "I'm committed to you until a 10/10 thot comes along". The first is fine, the second is sleazy.

Yep change things up and I'd want to be an attractive girl in a liberal family or at worst an unattractive guy. I'd never want to be an unattractive girl.

It's not 100% given but it depends to the degree she prioritises different traits. Plus genetic value isn't just about looks/smartness. The guy with the degree is in a better job, can raise his kids to compete better, help them out with school/college apps etc. Also has more gravitas with other similarly educated people. Lets be real rich people look down on blue collar workers unless they're super rich.

Yep. Marrying another college educated guy isn't solely about elitism. The girl and guy are more likely to have things in common too. Social circles for college educated people are other similar people in most cases. What would the Huffpo editors friends think if she married a successful tradesperson? That matters too.

This is definitely true. While a ton of young college educated girls are pretty, there really aren't that many chad like UMC dudes making more than the girl esp if she does well. Girls have to compromise on something. Either date a chad blue collar guy who is making less than her (plenty of those) or settle for a beta white collar guy.

Legit even in major metro areas yes you see pretty people but its not like any guy finds the VAST majority of women they see hot.

I come from a very religious and conservative culture and marriage is pretty much expected no matter who you are. Things are changing but there's a huge stigma against guys and girls who are unmarried (in their 30s). It kills your social capital in the community. That and at least in my culture there a tons of conservative ish girls with low n counts (if any) who want a healthy monogamous marriage.

Even coming for a more conservative background ( I won't say which lol) guys get really really salty if a girl mentions that she wants the guy to earn well, over height, etc. Girls in my culture do understand that low n to virgin women are preferred (and tbh they exist in numbers even among pretty girls). You just summed up why so succintly. I will say western men unless they're the religious church going types are pretty much screwed if they want a pretty virgin girl. They're so rare they might…

LOL the casual islamophobia aside. Its not beheadings they're worried about, its shame. Guys and girls talk and notice if a girl's done something with a guy. Muslim guys when it comes to serious relationships/marriage will straight up ask a girl if she's been in a relationship/ will try to ask around about her. Girls who are whores don't get married and nothing is worse in the culture.

Yeah no one's saying to drop their standards to someone they find unattractive. Just make them more reasonable. Instead of dating a guy who's 10 in looks but a 4 in other areas. Go for one who's 7 across the board.

Did the study control for the type of post grad degree. A girl getting her degree in teaching/med school/ etc is much different from someone pursuing a phd in anthropology.

I usually don't chime in here but this discussion is interesting. As a young mid 20s male from a more conservative culture, I'd say your point is true. Even if guys want a girl to have a job, they want it to be non stressful enough that she could still do most of the chores. Personally I'm open towards a more egalitarian marriage provided her career is intense and well paying aka if she's a doctor, corporate attorney etc. What I'm not cool with is her having a bs HR job (no disrespect there is t…

Look I’m not saying Muslims don’t practice their religion. They do but just the convenient parts, prayers, not drinking etc. Very few Muslims give a shit about Islamic philosophy, killing infidels etc.. yes evangelical Christians have been here for a while, but I also imagine their congregations have gotten smaller and older over time. Heck go ask a ton of younger Muslims and most would be in support of gay rights.

I get why. I think you need to understand is how liberal the second generation of immigrants are. A lot of muslims in the west are barely practicing and do believe in western values. If you want to reduce immigration then local birth rates have to rise. I don't know how you can do that but that's the solution. Immigration is a constant thing too. Most second and third generation of immigrants aren't having a ton of kids.

Rising educational and health care costs are not a result of immigration but flawed systems. Immigration in general is a net positive for society, if birth rates in the developing world keep declining there'll be competition for immigrants in the future.

Idiots forget that people in general despise farm work. The invisible hand itself refuses to pick those crops. Do americans want to pay 15 dollars for bananas?

This is a solid comment. Statistically I imagine that most minority marriages in conservative cultures tend to skew the numbers. I know plenty of guys even today in Muslim culture who are marrying younger. The dynamic is completely different.

Heck go to any speed dating event for even religiously inclined people , the men are young and the women are accomplished 28-35 yo.

This. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter why she cheated or what you could've done. Just next her and move on.
