I feel this man! Had a successful mediation on 9/26 after almost a year. Lawyer said I'll be divorced on 10/20! Only thing I've seen come over is to sign the mediation agreement to be submitted to the court and the draft decree for my approval. Called them 10/17 to see if everything was in order, no answer. Called on 10/19 to make sure there was nothing they needed from me for 10/20 and specifically asked if I'm still on track to be divorced tomorrow (10/20) "yes sir". Guess who's still not divo…

I started No More Mr. Nice Guy yesterday and got about halfway through it. Other than waking up earlier than usual, last night was the first in a long time that I haven't gone to sleep and woken up stressed with dread. Great recommendation!

Been to counseling before. Didn't make a difference then.

That's truly admiral. We've done counseling in the past and it never improved anything. We've had several talks and things always come back worse than they were before. I've taken her on surprise vacations (arranged everything with her bosses) and nothing.

I'm right there on the nothing I ever did was good enough. I tried and tried, finally just couldn't try anymore so I gave up hoping she'd get the point.

This resonates with me man. I'm in pretty much the same situation. Most of the time, she treats me like one of our children. I get so tired of her constantly yelling at the kids that I absolutely dread coming home every day, especially if I'm travelling for work.
