Plus, even with the genders being fully equal, it doesn't change the fact that women need to invest 9 months to make a baby and thus get to be the choosier sex. No movement gets everything they ask for, that's just not how society works. So you ask for a lot and then end up somewhere in the middle. You could ask for something more reasonable but then you risk not getting anything at all. In STEM if you take a leave then the field moves on without you and it can be incredibly difficult to catch up afterwards. Most women in STEM don't return to their STEM job after they have their first child. The only way your reasoning would work would be if the state forced a 15-year-old kid to raise a kid, then the kid would get financial assistance and the rapist would have child support obligations.
