A closer read of the “gender wage gap” tells a different story | The "different story" of course is that it's just a myth. Good to see more mainstream media articles debunking feminists myths like this.“The wage gap is simply the average earning of men and women working full time. It does not count for different job positions, hours worked, or different jobs. It has nothing to do with the same job. It has nothing to do with discrimination.” its good that mainstream media platforms are starting to produce this stuff, one small step foward | /r/MensRights | 21/04/19 01:04 PM

Am I in an abusive relationship? Or am i just over reacting? Not really abusive, but very high levels of toxicity, sit her down, try couples therapy, and communicate. If you continue this relationship as it is, it can become abusive. You especially don’t want that if you decide to marry her down the line. Be careful, I was in an almost identical situation with my ex, One day I blocked her out of my life and starting focusing on myself. If you do decide to leave her, It’ll be very difficult. best of luck to you man! | /r/MensRights | 21/04/19 11:57 AM

16 y/o male struggling with depression and lack of social support.you’ll always get trolls and people who try to anger people. Sense of community and standing up to fight for our rights, but also providing good feedback to opinions is the key | /r/MensRights | 21/04/19 11:10 AM
16 y/o male struggling with depression and lack of social support.Yeah, the word “oppression” is extremely overused. Hearing it constantly in news and many other places leads to yourself using it, but what is another word that I can use to replace “oppressed” or “oppression” ? Domestic violence is a very touchy subject, the more “out there” the studies are, the more clicks and eventually more money the site earns. And there is a countless number of factors that could manipulate the data. Could you possibly link some non-biased sources? for multivitamins, is th… | /r/MensRights | 21/04/19 11:03 AM
16 y/o male struggling with depression and lack of social support.I completely agree, learning and having a different opinion on a subject, especially something as extreme as gender rights can definitely isolate yourself and put you as a target. I’m trying to find a community that I can stand by and talk about mens issues. I usually get bombarded by other people’s opinions on how i’m a bigot and wrong and i’m usually never given good feedback unlike this community :) | /r/MensRights | 21/04/19 10:39 AM
16 y/o male struggling with depression and lack of social support.Yeah, I am deathly afraid of marriage, but i’m a very sensitive person and extremely empathetic. My main goals in life is to have kids, to pursue a psychology career, and hopefully help and educate people on not only men’s rights but women’s rights as well. thank you for giving advice and welcoming me into the community :) i greatly appreciate it. | /r/MensRights | 21/04/19 10:26 AM
16 y/o male struggling with depression and lack of social support.thank you for the support and suggestions, I wish there was a sub that I could openly talk about my mental health issues with other men (and if you have any suggestions tell me them please!) who have gone through and experienced these. I understand this is not a singular gendered issue, what i have trouble with is that it is barely socially acceptable to have men speak about their mental health and there are a very limited amount of communities that embrace men’s issues and rights. You are an am… | /r/MensRights | 21/04/19 10:21 AM

16 y/o male struggling with depression and lack of social support.I believe both males and females are oppressed, the fact that society doesn’t care when violence happens to males and values women’s victim hood more than male’s victim hood definitely must effect report rates somehow, but the amount is unclear. The majority of studies i’ve researched (not many, maybe 3-4) women almost always have higher report rates of harassment and domestic violence against them. It can also be noted that lack of education of harassment against males and domestic violence aga… | /r/MensRights | 21/04/19 09:58 AM
