yeah people shouldn't lie. If somebody catches you in a lie, then they'll never listen to you again. Also, the 1/6 number trivializes men's rape because anybody with a shred of common sense knows that that can't possibly be true unless they consider butt grabs rape.

tough situation. Don't know if I can help you much here. I was fired the same way by a woman supervisor (suddenly and without warning) due to "poor performance" even though I had never been told I was doing shitty work. I don't know if I can help, but here are some thoughts. 1) HR might not be able to do anything. 2) Do you have any other contacts/people at your firm you trust that you can talk to to get another position? Bonus points if they're higher ranked than your supervisor. Try this first…
