Can you blame women for rejecting men? Look at the nature of men. I'm not religious but to find a decent man, I don't know where I have to go. Maybe to church. And men say, well what about the stuff women are reading, like erotica? You can't cannot compare the two. One the is explicit, graphic imagery of actual people in degrading scenarios focusing on gratification and the other is non visual, literature. (Fiction). One merely reducing people as units of pleasure. The other explores desire and …

This is the whole underlying problem that men online seem to have. Everything has to be logical and functional, transactional. Physical, sexual attraction seem to be the only currency and trend of thought people have. But beware, I am not the one confused. There is a black and white way I see men on here think. They dont know any other way to live. And its hollow and frightening.... We are more than sexual, physical external parts. Thats why so many cannot see women for anything more than a body…

I think we have two different viewpoints but thats ok. I realized something. I think that po*n is an outlet for men who are lonely. The idea that masculinity does not allow vulnerability, it's the only approved outlet where men express themselves. So its an outlet and a distraction. But it derails all else.... The dangers are being unable to form a connection. Seeking gratification without putting in the effort for something more. Instead the focus is biological drives and function. They cannot …

Yes, you're right, it's something like that I'm experiencing. I didn't think about it that way. Thank you ❤️.

The question is do they need to? How did men survive in the past? (Don't answer that). They don't need to and it's become so normal, it's like watching anything else. I do believe if women watch it's not the same. It doesn't hijack the brain the same. It never bothered me in the past. I'm not sure why its bothering me this much now. Is it that the very nature of men these days is to just be despicable. And the lack of control, the entitled behavior of doing whatever the fck they want without con…

Let's not make excuses for men. They are socialized into thinking about sex and women in a particular way. Social media and society feeds and reinforces it. They watch porn because they believe that's just something men do. It's a guy thing. That's it's masculine to do this and think and talk about women in a particular way. But it also shows the entitlement men feel that our bodies are for them to use, to view and for their pleasure. They think it's their right as men. Bottom line is it's a cho…

It changes the way men view women. Not as people. We're just seen as these robot bodies with parts just for serving the desires of men. Parts that are ogled and ridiculed. It's dehumanizing, degrading and exploits women. By reducing us to parts, we are stripped of humanity and personality. As if our worth is just physical appearance. It changes the reward system of the brain where they keep seeking the high dopamine in a constant reward loop. It's not reality. It is encouraging a lazy way to view…

But the majority are still men and it's become a problem. Many are addicted and cannot look at a woman as a person anymore. It alters your reality until you dont know what's normal. Affects behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 04:33 AM

Same can be said for avoiding toxic men.

You suck as a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 10:02 AM

Why are you following me around like an insane person. Take your medication.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 10:02 AM

Your argument is dumb and childish. Look in the mirror. You cannot invalidate my argument and now you are throwing a tantrum. Cry harder.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 10:00 AM

Aww...run and cry in your corner then and escape accountability like a coward.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 09:51 AM

Another useless biology take. Biology only takes you so far. The rest is socialization and a choice. You are looking at percentages and not at the impact watching it has. There is a qualitative difference. I'm not the only woman voicing a concern about this. You're saying it's normal rather than admitting it's a widespread cultural problem. You want to go back to the comfort zone of your unchallenged worldview. Aww...made you uncomfortable did I? No, we aren't tolerating bs anymore from men. Ano…

Let's make it better. How about men stay away from women altogether. Instead of men watching women in the media and in real, look at men instead. Objectify your fcking selves. We don't care what you do to each other. Make the world a better place.

You really think men are compartmentalizing how they're viewing women. One as objects the media and then as human beings otherwise? What about the cultural and cognitive impact?

They don't consume it the same way men do. Are women objectifying men in the same way? Is it distorting their perception of men? Are we scanning men's body parts and sexualizing men?

I'll gladly take that. Thanks. Don't want some creep in my bed.

Are you really saying it doesn't play a big part of a guys life? That what one consumes has no bearing on their moral character? Your whole argument is a deflection. Talking about concealment of sexual identity vs dehumanizing pornography. Accusing me of being detached from reality rather than deal with your own ego of how viewing porn alters your perception of women. How it alters every man's fcking perception of women. Rather than admit what it reduces a woman to, a commodity for men to consum…

The whole socialization of men is wrong. You're only taught to express everything sexually whether it's stressed, to feel close, to express masculinity. But there needs to be healthy ways to express yourself. It should be encouraged more. It's okay to open up emotionally. Men should be taught that emotions and empathy are ok. In fact, I think a lot of the problems with men is that is there is no empathy. You're not understanding how some behaviors are impacting others. It is appreciated when you…

I wouldn't date for s*x, it would be for companionship. It's not a commodity I give to hungry guys that don't deserve it. And you sound like such an Asshat.

Before any action happens? That's what you're waiting on? I hope the action is commitment and marriage you're speaking about.

Why are we rating people like this?

That's great but the world doesn't need your toxicity. Looks like you need some more reflection.

Certain individuals are shallow, which I avoid. It's people who think like this that remain single. You aren't seeing people, you're seeing market value and status. Then no one would get married. You're not focused on connections. This is the mentality of a teenager.

That's your narrow black and white reality. Not for the rest of us. If you choose to view the world in an extreme, immature way, so shall be your experience.

This is a red flag. Anyone who views people as 'tiers' rather than individuals is someone to avoid.

I also would offer to pay half if we weren't dating or on the first date. But not throughout the whole relationship.
