You think I don't know that? What's the point of reiterating it. You get off on making people feel worse about themselves?

So don't go after girls.... that's what I've been doing to no avail

My balls work just fine, I don't want to be the campus creep is all

I don't really have much interest in anything that'sa group activity tbh

I still can't risk that happening

It's about the experience level. Most people start that around 16. I'm 4 years older than that, and it only make things worse. First, because I'd feel awkward if my first time was with a more experienced girl, and at this age I have practically no chance of finding a girl with my experience level. And second, because girls would probably feel better being with an experienced guy vs one who has none.

Like asking out a random chick every day for half a year?
/r/seduction05/09/22 03:21 AM

Mine's like half that size, but between people gossiping and social media shit spreads like wildfire with people my age
/r/seduction05/09/22 03:10 AM

Ok well I'm actually in college, if I approach women daily then people will catch on. And again, I don't want to approach random women because it's either shallow or I have no reason to other than random choice
/r/seduction05/09/22 03:02 AM

And how do I meet a lot of women without just approaching random ones every day?
/r/seduction05/09/22 03:00 AM
1

Ok but I'm not gonna ask girls out unless I know she's someone I'd want to date. And if I never met the girl then an approach is just based off of nothing, so why would I do that?
/r/seduction05/09/22 02:30 AM

That sounds exhausting, were those just 200 random approaches or did you know any of them beforehand?
/r/seduction05/09/22 02:15 AM

I never have girls interested in me though. Like I'm not gonna ask a girl out unless I know that kind of stuff lmao

I mean I'm already doing that minus approaching so...

I feel like advice like "be flirty" and "try to attract her" is hollow. How do I do either of those

I do agree that most of the advice I'm getting is geared towards a PUA style of approach, towards the women you described. That's not what I want though. If I got buff and changed my style drastically then maybe women would look at me more but it wouldn't really be any more fulfilling, because all that would tell me is that I'm just wanted for looks. I don't want to jump through hoops to get a girlfriend. I just want to be with someone I feel a connection to not just romantically or sexually, bu…

I don't think being 4 years behind my peers is "nothing". That's 1/5 of my entire life right there
/r/seduction04/09/22 07:45 PM

Everyone my age has already got years of experience on top of me, it's not gonna get any better the older I get
/r/seduction04/09/22 05:43 PM

Because sometimes instead of it being flattering it can be gross, depending upon the guy who's asking

I get that self confidence is a huge factor. I've seen how it works wonders for less attractive people, but I can't manage to have any myself. People always say the same things like "eat better, exercise, get a hobby" as if I'm not already doing that. I am, and it doesn't help

I'd care because I don't want to come off as a creep for making a move on a girl who doesn't want anything to do with me. I don't worry about rejection, I worry about being "that guy" who asked a girl out and creeped her out. Because if that's me then I'll never have any chance
/r/seduction04/09/22 03:52 PM
-1

I don't feel like I could... it's not so much a rejection thing as it is that I wouldn't want to embarass a girl or make her feel bad for asking her out. The only way I wouldn't be risking that is if she were already interested but that's never happened

I'm not sure what a therapist would be able to do for me other than refer me to a psychiatrist to put me on medication. I'm not really able to verbally explain what's wrong with me to other people so I'd end up being a waste of resources

I'm shooting down the advice that doesn't apply to what my problem is. Nobody here can really give good advice without knowing everything about me. It's nobody's fault. I'm just someone with a situation that has too much behind it for blanket statements of advice to be able to help with. And girls absolutely do give hints and flirt with guys they like. I'm just not one of those guys

There's a difference between being a virgin and having zero experience with girls whatsoever though. You're many miles ahead of me.

There isn't really much I'm not already doing besides making good friends and building up self confidence/fixing self esteem. Those are more results of external factors than things I can actually control. Since I moved out I've been watching what I eat better, much to my mother's dismay (who thinks I'm too skinny when she doesn't know what skinny even means). I'm getting the most exercise I have in 3 or 4 years, which is tied to a hobby of mine (which I thought would help me find friends but so …

I'm not really unhealthy. I wouldn't consider myself good looking but I can't really be objective about it. All I can say is that there are way worse looking guys than me. But I think girls don't want me because I never get attention from them. I feel like that's a pretty reasonable assumption, no?
/r/seduction04/09/22 06:55 AM
1

Because it's me. I'm not someone who's ever had that kind of luck, I feel like people can tell just by seeing me that I'm unlucky in that department. It's a level of irony to see someone trying online dating when it's obvious they never get any girls, and that's not what I want to be.

Women don't approach men for a lot of reasons. Being ugly, short, creepy looking, dressed weirdly, etc. Some of that can be controlled but some of it is just being given a shitty hand at birth. But I think you underestimate peoples' abilities to pretend to be okay. When people with depression kill themselves, people who knew them often say stuff like "they were so happy, we never suspected anything was wrong, this came out of nowhere", etc. But ignore all of that if you wish. Let's say that you'…

There's the fact that your profile is public though. Just that in and of itself would be too embarrassing for me. Knowing that girls all over my university would probably see me there, and I'd probably even have classes with some without even knowing it. If it were to where I would have no risk of seeing anyone unless we matched and met up, that would be different, but I wouldn't want anyone knowing I was on a dating app.
/r/seduction04/09/22 06:39 AM

It's really not how friends are made. I haven't done exactly that but I've done similar things, and haven't really made friends out of meeting up with people outside of class. It doesn't work for me. But as far as asking a classmate to study with me, I can't do that

I get that nobody wants that person in their life, but that's not me. I don't drag others down with me. I put on a happy face and carry on like everyone else. Nobody would know how I feel unless I said so. Everything I say here is stuff I keep to myself.

I'm so vehemently anti-narcissist that I'm unable to get any confidence from within. Any sense of self esteem I get that's not because of what other people think feels wrong. I can't get it from within, because it doesn't exist there. So when I find that I'm really not wanted, how am I supposed to love myself?
/r/seduction04/09/22 06:29 AM

Riding a bike is easy though. Yeah, I fell off but I don't care about myself getting hurt. If falling off my bike hurt other people though then I'd be much more hesitant to try to learn. Which is why I don't ask girls out. It's not that I wouldn't be able to handle a rejection, but I wouldn't be able to go on knowing that I ruined a girl's day by asking her out
/r/seduction04/09/22 06:25 AM

This isn't about not being able to make everyone happy. This is about not being able to make anyone happy. How am I supposed to love myself when I don't feel wanted? It's impossible.

Put yourself in my shoes real quick. If you spent your life without girls showing any signs of interest in you, wouldn't you think that they just don't want you around?
/r/seduction04/09/22 06:21 AM

how do you know Because that's how people work. They get annoyed when people they don't like try to hang out with them. They feel weird when someone they don't particularly enjoy being around has feelings for them. All that I've witnessed firsthand between other people. It makes sense that I would also be that unliked person because I don't really make friends or have anyone interested in me. And it's not like my lack of self esteem is visible. I know how to pretend that everything is okay when …

Why would I like myself when nobody else does? Self love doesn't make any sense to me
/r/seduction04/09/22 06:06 AM

Considering that I've never been approached by a girl, never been told a girl liked me, never been flirted with, I'd say it's pretty obvious which one it is
/r/seduction04/09/22 06:05 AM

But how am I supposed to do that when I'm obviously not someone girls want to be around? I also don't know how people ask others out on a date to begin with. I wouldn't ask a girl out that I don't know, but I also wouldn't ask out a girl I want to be friends with (because I'd rather have a friend than not have one after a rejection). When am I supposed to do that?

OLD has the worst outcomes on average. So if you got lucky there, you definitely could have with other dating means.

Why would I, a guy who has never had a girl like him, be miserable if a girl asked me out? I'd assume it was some shitty prank but I wouldn't be miserable. A good way to put it is that I'm not someone who would make a girl feel flattered if I asked her out. I wouldn't want to make a girl uncomfortable with that thought so I don't.

Where did I ever imply I was the only one with that issue? Calling me narcissistic for not knowing how I'm supposed to ask girls out when I get no attention from them is soooo far of a stretch that you're gonna be sore from that tomorrow. You still never answered the question either. You're answering something I never asked for. Stop telling me that guys make the moves. I know that. I'm asking you to tell me how I'm supposed to be able to do that under the assumption that girls are completely un…

I still don't think you understand the bigger picture is. Even if guys are expected to ask girls out, and assuming I actually believe that's the best way to go about dating, I still come out on bottom. Most guys asking girls out either have signs that the girl is interested, or have had luck with women in the past and have the confidence to take a chance like that. In my own case I have neither, so why the hell would I ever find it a good idea to ask a girl out? There's no reason to unless I fin…

The reply before me is also correct, online dating isn't designed for people to accurately assess each other. It's based off of pictures and a short bio, neither of which are the most accurate representation of someone. It's shallow is what it is. It's great if you're a very good looking guy but otherwise just exists to make the app/site creators money

If that's the only way it works then it's stupid at best. But that's not the only way it works, just a narrow view of how some people view it.

Online dating to gain confidence? That's funny. I don't think hopping on tinder or bumble to see that nobody matches with me is gonna be a confidence booster by any means. That stuff also doesn't work for people who can't otherwise score a date anyways

It's not like I never talk to anyone. I just never go out of my way to do so because from my experience people don't really care about me. Whoever decides to talk to me I'm fine with for the most part, but I'm not the kind of guy who everyone likes

as a man, you take initiative That's not really true. Not for a lot of men anyways. The guys who take initiative are the guys who get hit on and flirted with by women. The guys who don't, don't. Why would I ever take that chance when I have no reason to think it wouldn't go terribly wrong? It's also a double standard that belongs back before the 2000s. Plenty of women ask men out, and there's nothing wrong with that. And I think given how often women get hit on, catcalled, etc. and how easy it i…

This is ridiculously oversimplified And the line from step 1 to 2 is a very hard line. It's easy to have casual conversation and treat them like a normal human being, but it takes a lot to turn the conversation towards the flirtatious direction. Especially if you're someone who doesn't get any female attention, it's not gonna feel like it's something you can do without having to worry about coming across as creepy or weird.
/r/seduction03/09/22 07:38 AM

Unfortunately, it's hard to suggest something like that without risking being seen as a creep by the girl. So friendly conversation only stays as that, friendly. Which isn't bad at all, women can be just as good of friends as men. But it also means that nothing more will ever happen
/r/seduction14/08/22 04:52 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
