Police are just as likely to get shot, stabbed, hit by traffic, and so on than a logger is likely to have a tree fall on him, or have a chain saw break and decapitate him, or whatever else my happen. However, when the policeman DOES get injured, 9/10 he'll live. When the tree DOES fall on the logger, or he gets hit by malfunctioning machinery, he might have a 50/50 chance.
