Great perspective man. Appreciate sharing it. We need to stand straight, walk with a purpose rather than imitating James Bond. I used to do the same, try to copy and hell yeah it comes off as too stiff and I'd feel the discomfort myself, the fact that I'm just not being myself. I might be wrong as well. Another possibility is: 1. You turned her down last time => bruised her ego 2. Then you hit her with “You’re still around here? => probably sounded like you were judging her for lingering So her “I don’t remember you” was just her defence mechanism at play If she were a scammer, she’d have tried harder to milk you again... more like she’s kinda clueless thinking that an awkward amnesia act would work
