Screw negotiations. As with all other relationships in your life: Clearly say what you are going to do. Do it. Say what is unacceptable for other people to do. Do not let them do it. If they can't handle that or they aren't getting what they want out of life, that is on them. I happily follow this rule with most people in life, but this is family I speak of and something within me stops me from behaving in similar fashion with them. Also, move out. Why can your grandparents not move out with you…

This is not red pill behavior. This is profoundly beta/insecure/fearful behavior. Will you please expand on this? I ask because both of them are quite confident and successful in their respective careers where they enjoy other people's respect/admiration/fear. They do tend to be overtly insecure in my case which manifests itself in the form of protectiveness and treating me as a man-child.
