Rosins argument is that women are increasingly dominating the workforce. Not the highest-tier sections of the workforce. Not the industrial-manufacturing section of the workforce. 0	Hanna Rosin "The End of Men" - TED Talk No she doesn't, that is a bastardization of the argument. It seems to me that patriarchy explains the previous exclusion of women from the job market, and biology can explain their attractiveness as employees once that patriarchy breaks down enough to allow entry. This isn't a logically inconsistent argument. I'd say it's an argument supported by the available data. If this is the last word, that's a shame. Just because you cannot fit every caveat into a 16 minute talk does not mean you are in disagreement with everything just mentioned. Having not read Rosin's book, I can't make a judgement on those things. I doubt you can, either. The two contradictory positions are simultaneously accepted in feminist circles, as long as one thing is consistent: that the position taken at any given time is the one that works to women's advantage in that context. Feminism, like a lot of lefty movements, got quite wrapped up in social construction theory and post-modernism, and that it is now being confronted is a good thing, Rosin should at least be given a bit of kudos for that.
