A fair point, but I think this really has more to do with her inability to present her points in a convincing or articulate manner. No one is going to be "put off", however. Those that benefit or believe in feminist ideology won't have read the OP's arguments anyway, or in the broader scheme, just dismiss criticism as misogyny. The feminist movement is so well established that the need for good arguments (and arguers) doesn't exist.

I've always found the whole "Women in tech" movement very odd. There isn't a "Men in teaching" or "Men in nursing" movement, although those areas are almost always devoid of men. This... is just too gross to really read. It's disgusting that this happens and it's disgusting that this is often considered acceptable. I think we've all seen the "this is your asshole after prison" or "meet your cell mate bubba" comments, even from police. Getting raped is a threat openly used against men. It's sick to think that whatever this guy did his punishment was rape and a fatal disease. May as well have just executed him on the spot, would have been far more merciful.

This seems pretty off. I can't see this case going very far honestly. I'm not even sure the police have any real say in this matter, I wouldn't think so. A buddy of mine in the Navy said that no one should ever date a woman in the Navy. Once he explained why, yeah. Its true. Apparently there is "Navy hot" which means when your at sea for long enough, any women seems hot. But when you get back on shore... they don't stand out anymore and thus do a lot to get attention. I think its the emasculation issue, primarily. I think that victims of such rape would feel (probably correctly) that their peers would view them as weak and "a bitch". Less of a man, if one at all. Male culture still does place a very strong emphasis on strength. The fact that not all men are physically strong (or trained to fight) doesn't seem to be much of a factor, really. In this case, its old-world views in male culture that's to blame for the stigma here.
