In essence the easiest way to describe it is like an officer candidate school for the merchant marine . A third mate is the lowest ranking officer in the Deck department and they specialize with safety. Inspecting all the safety equipment, the life boats, the life saving appliances ect. The cook was absolutely fantastic, he never made a dull meal once and breakfast was better than most restaurants in my opinion. Especially after working all night it was the best thing to come back to. This wasn’t a tourist kind of thing I was working for them at an internship for the maritime academy I was in. | 2 | If it safe to "mgtow" at 17 years old?I started MGTOW at age 20. It’s a blessing that you are starting young. You can figure out who you are and figure out what you want without any women distracting you. I wish I started sooner, I let women run my life by always chasing after them.
