That would imply that feminism could do differently. Which is wrong. See, feminism started as the pursuit of equality through the lifting up women (legally and socially). Back then, this was the right method. Men had more rights, thus the logical conclusion was to give women more rights. However, today's problems cannot be solved by focusing on women alone. Which is why feminism fails. Which is also why so many people try to make their own kind of feminism (intersectional, TERF, etc.) these days…

Only if you believe that peoples opinions and choices are strictly sex based. Congress represents the choices of people, not the people themselves

meme of Trump's small loan of a million dollars Not a meme but a documented fact. And 'relatively' was put there because my parents are rich, just not Trump or Gates rich. Doesn't make much/any difference, since i only pointed out that you are not damned to stay rich even if you grew up rich. Not everyone talking about it Well, but you yourself made a distinction between mere talking and raising awareness. 'Creating' awareness would be something reasonable. 'Raising' awareness boils down to "Oh …

If you were born rich Was born (relatively) rich, now live off a normal paycheck since i moved out from my parents home at age 18. You upbringing has not as much influence as you would expect. raising awareness is a part of fighting it. 'Raising awareness' is usually little more than virtue signaling. 'Fighting' inequality itself is trying to dramatize it (As in "I will not sit idily by, i will FIGHT!!!!). How about 'Attempt to resolve'? whether noticeable or not. "[God/Allah/The flying spaghett…

I'd say its more the wrong people enforcing it. Unless there actually is a 'sexting act' or something like this in the US. In which case: facepalm

Oh no, i ve just had different experiences. Such as SJWs usually not calling themselves SJW. That strawman is completely comprised of actual things ive heard (or more read because it was on the internet) SJWs say.

Noted. But if you're saying that, you probably are no SJW. ;-)

Try saying that to one of these SJWs. You wont believe how fast they go from "proud, powerful wmoyxn" to "yeah, well, actually men are physically stronger than women" or (my personal favorite) "I did not sign up for that part of equality/feminism"

Either you remain calm and patient and loose one or two customers (staying with the UBER example), or you drag her out, someone cries RAPE!!!!! and you might loose your job and reputation for good.

You could at least defend ypur actions if it comes to a legal case. Pepperspray might be more complicated, it depends on local legislation. I would advise against it since some places regard it as assault, which would be inappropriate in that situation.

Nah, that could at least be legally attacked, since he did not explore every non-violen alternative (such as waiting for a long time for her to leave, calling law enforcement etc.)

The problem is that "Listen" is ok, neccessary even, but the "Believe" part does, by its very nature, preclude the benefit of the doubt. You mentioned being sympathetic. But that is just plain out not the job of an impartial judical system. It goes against everything that system would stand for. Yes, no one said that 'Listen & Believe' should replace the judical system (afaik). But the fact that people loose jobs, money, credebility and much more because of false accusations and a mentality of b…

Just a quick one, because i do not wish to be dragged into this since i am on mobile right now: Is this just for rape and women, or for all people who claim a crime was committed against them? Assault, theft? Don't believe anything? Exactly. Thats the idea of in dubio pro reo (also known as "innocent till proven guilty") Here, i'll give you an example: Me: "Hey, everyone, /u/torn-ainbow just assaulted me and stole my car!" This scenario can now be taken on two different paths. Listen-and-believe…
