Interesting theory. Do you think it makes sense for solo mothers as they're often forced to take on both roles anyway?

In most jurisdictions women can't be charged with rape.

Fathers seem to be generally better at guidance on careers and education. Mothers don't seem to see it as important. It is reflected in the rankings of outcomes for children from two parent homes (best outcomes), solo-father raised, solo-mother raised (worst outcomes).

Bold assumption, implied by "you gave it a shot. It's not for everyone." Far more likely the single mum is the problem here. I'm a solo dad. I had a blended family of 6 boys for 3 years a little while ago. It works if the mother is prepared to admit you have just as valid input to parenting as her. Ideally a little more input than her on the abstract stuff. I've tried dating a solo mum earlier this year who didn't understand the assignment, so I ended it.

Great! Good on you for finding a woman with the right attitude. There are many of them out there, just rare to find one that's single.

Pointing out sophist tactics like conflating definitions is useful - it shows who not to engage with. I won't waste my time on petty games like that. The term "Umbrella term" used here is deliberate to conflate meanings and avoid directly attacking the idea. Its the Mott and Bailey that others have pointed out. Anyway, since you mentioned something specific, womens health interventions for reproduction weaken our species' resilience. We are the only species (apart from the ones we've domesticate…

Learn to be more concise. No one asked for a lesson on how to debate. Loosely defined and undefined terms like feminism, queer, trans, etc are intentionally vague to avoid accountability. Its pretty standard play by feminists to hedge their assertions by trying to make everything subjective. Its disingenuous sophism. Not an honest one among them.

He's 75 now, and prison has probably taken many years off his life expectency. He probably won't even have the chance to spend it. He has every right to spend it, but it would be cool of he set up a trust fund for a non-profit to find and fight these cases.

These days the difference in child contact time of mothers vs fathers is not significant enough to explain the difference in child abuse. Females perpetrate most child abuse. From my anecdotes, I know women who have been victims of sexual abuse from women when they were children. Its much easier to come forward if the perpetrator is male, given the belief that men are always the perpetrator and the blanket contempt most people have for men. Female child abuse is much more subtle, to the point it…

I swim at the public pools regularly. Had this exact scenario happen where the mother felt entitled to come and sit on the bench while a busy room of men have to change in front of her. Wasn't even helping her kids, just looking around. Lucky I managed to get a stall to change in. And the pools have several family changing rooms. Or the kids could've changed in the womens changing rooms. Na, she wasnt there to protect or supervise her kids. Could I have reported it? To who? Who cares what women …

There are bad-apple women too. Its just that no one holds them accountable. Complaints are dismissed, cases aren't investigated, media don't cover it, jurors don't convict, judges don't sentence, and time isn't served. While this is a form of sexism against women too, the benevolent sexism, feminists don't see that women being infantilised is an issue. Now you understand what feminism is all about.

I'm 45, divorced 7 years with 3 kids under 14. I've had a 3 year step-family and a string of girlfriends from 3 weeks to 15 months in that time since. The problem you see is somewhat survivor bias. The women who are chill were snapped up early and stayed the course. My age cohort, as well as the 30+ age girls that are single are that way for a reason. They never grew up and never figured out their life needs purpose and commitment. Just be straight up at the beginning as to why things haven't wo…

While I agree with you on both points, we're losing the fight because we're playing by different self-imposed rules. Apart from a small minority, MRAs I see are polite, qualify their points, flexible, fair, etc. Feminists shout down everyone, slink in the back door with policy makers, hide information about women's bad behaviour, etc. Feminists are machiavellian.

Can I tell you, instead? Governments don't swing hammers to build houses. Builders do that. If you want everyone to work for the government (and I have a sneaky suspicion builders are just the beginning), we tried that already. Its called 'communism' or 'universal slavery', killed 100m people in about 50 years, and the reviews are generally awful.

Brilliant! Well articulated novel points right here. That reminds me, the UN has recommendations on child labour laws that prohibit kids getting jobs until they're 16, I think. I had my first job at 12 and I'm trying to get my boys to start after-school work but age is a barrier. This is what I point to as feminised laws/rules from too many feminist women in organisations. Its not a gendered rule but it disproportionally affects men and boys because learning about working is essential for them.

If the term is confronting for you, there's probably good reason for it. Richard Dawkins spoke of "mind-virus" when he established memetics, the mind-analogue of genetics, 50 years ago with his book "The Selfish Gene." He coined the term 'meme' and his theory has good academic standing. So while you might see it as insulting, generally, its understood to describe how memes spread through a population and through generations.

Feminists are insidious in education. Its impossible to send your kids to school or university these days without them being indoctrinated with feminist values from a young age. I'd say that's on-par with kidnapping.

NZ and Australia have our rugged nonchalant masculinity that looks past this stuff unless we're directly affected. The weakness of selfish, empathy-lacking individuality in men, I suppose. Still, we're nowhere near as bad as the UK. Those guys are fucked.

Coincidentally, those are the demographic not having kids. It's a selfless act to raise the next generation and they won't be part of it. Self correction through attrition.

It definitely gets busy being a taxi for multiple kids but apart from that, being all the attention for one kid is exhausting. Kids naturally hang out with other kids. I'm not really indulgent with my time with my kids because I'm not one of them. They're happy with that. As long as I raise good adults, I'm satisfied.
/r/MensRights19/04/26 02:45 PM

As a solo-father of 3 and previously a step-father of another 3, only-child families are highly strung and require far more time-commitment than multiple children. Two is good. 3 under 5 years is bedlam. Having more than 3 kids it even gets easier. Good, relaxed parents are the ones with multiple kids that usually turn out great. Its the spoiled only-child that typically grows up to be an arsehole. If you think having only one kid is minimal parenting, you're in for a shock.

Oh, sorry for tiring you from reading. How terrible... The rules don't explicitly say you can post questions either. Are questions banned? Practically, I can't see the problem here. As long as we procreate while the feminists cease to exist through attrition, the mind-virus should go extinct. Happy days.

I'm not sure you appreciate what 'declining' population looks like; famine, shorter life spans, lower quality of life, etc. Basically, go back to the 19th century pre-industry and pre-medicine. That's about the level of suffering from a declining global population that competes for resources that have become concentrated with the wealthy. It's quite unnatural to try to curb our species population growth. We have the technical means to support well over 10bn and do so in a way that is environment…

Not irony at all. I suggest you learn the common logical fallacies of discourse. This one is Tu Quoque (you too). Could also be Special Pleading. Yes, it sounds horrible to be wallowing in self-pity and encouraging others to do the same. That's regressive in a male space. I'm not saying that you shouldn't find comfort and solace for your own strength in some form, but aimless whining and expressive self-pity is what I've come to expect from women, not so much men. Men's rights discourse is usually about complaining, admittedly, but with a reasonable and important purpose. All the once-great societal institutions are already far to feminis…

A shit take, but I agree with what he advocates for, but not for the reasons he does. DNA sample every baby at birth and cross check Dad is actually the father. At least one in 50 kids are born through paternal deception. And sure, that's great evidence for sexual assault. Maybe we can lock up the false accusers during the investigation before even bothering the false suspect and ruining his life with suspicion. Like others have criticised you, I don't think your take is welcome here. The only common ground I expect of people here is that we debate (the lack of) men's rights and criticism of feminism. Everything else will just detract from core business. How very feminine of you to try to protect your views by excluding others. Depends. An 18yo girl with zero emotional resilience and delulu values would get into all sorts of trouble with an older guy. To me, an 18yo woman would about as interesting as dry toast but 'would' coz she's physically attractive. That's not a coincidental artefact. Its biology. Around that age is the prime child bearing health for a woman. We're hard-wired through evolution to be attracted to them. So if, from the victims perspective, rape is worse than murder, then rape victims would all end their lives. And if we punished rapists worse than murderers, then rapists would be incentivised to murder their victims afterwards.

No, the reason isnt just active/passive. If you're talking in a dating context, women will be turned off if you imply that you are a victim of anything. They will listen, feel sympathy and hug you, but you're going home alone and you're in the friendzone from now on. This is probably the main practical reason why men don't engage on these issues. What women call "toxic masculinity" is precisely the non-negotiable masculinity they need to be attracted to men. Women don't date male victims.

No, FGM is done for all the same reasons as MGM. Religion, aesthetics, reduced sensation, etc. FGM is globally condemned so it is often done in amateur procedures. Rabbis arent doctors, tho. I remember the case in New York where the rabbi gave the baby herpes by removing the foreskin with his lips.

Replace 'relationship' with 'marriage' and its not really a foreign concept. Hard to enforce lying about intentions when 'relationship' is so loosely defined. It seems to me that some women want the commitment benefits of marriage from men while also benefitting from no-fault divorce and bias in family law when they want to leave.

This happened to me, although I'm not in the USA. Here you can get out of child support if it was sexual assault but no one has been able to bring a charge for baby trapping. She gloated about it to family and driends, even. Should be open-and-shut.

Yes, I disagree. If anything, men are far better emotionally equipped to handle personal interactions and relationships than women. We generally manage fine with work, friendships, fatherhood, etc. Its the contention with women in personal circumstances that are usually a problem. But the problem can't be on the women, right? I don't advocate for bringing anyone down for no good reason. But to hold certain women accountable for their actions? Absolutely. It doesnt happen right now and that shoul…

Hard to tell. Depends on how old the 'men' are and what is considered a child. We are hard-wired for post-puberty attraction. No late-teenage guy is going to admit to being attracted to 13 or 14yo girls but its quite hard to tell their age just from their appearance. Even though someone is attractive most people have the morality and self-control to not pursue taboo relationships. Yeah it does matter about your stance on abortion. Its where you draw the line between foetus and baby. I think a lot of countries have a good definition of being the point of viability. Once a baby is viable to be born and likely to survive outside the mother, there is no justification for killing it. Its wild that they even acknowledge it is 'foeticide' and the mother has to sign off on intentionally injecting the baby in utero to stop its heart before delivery. That is the complete embodiment…

My mistake, socialist is the wrong word. Critical theory is an umbrella term for marxism, feminism, queer theory, and critical race theory. They are the same concepts but applied to different demographics. The feminisation of education is the change in education from paternal to maternal style. Softer, less focus on seeking the truth, less accountability, less competitive, less natural justice, etc. IMO the shift has resulted in lower quality outcomes for students in recent decades. No. People are evil in their actions and their intent. No one is born with either of those. Sounds like some kind of religious idea. Evil is pretty archaic. Incorrect assumption. I had in mind the insidious trend in western economies of wages not keeping up with inflation since the 1970s second wave feminism. This is economics 101, supply (people seeking jobs) and demand (vacancies) driving prices (wages). If you double the supply with women looking for work within a decade, its no surprise we're all paid less now. I'm not disputing that women get horny. My current and past relationships concur. Go read a book about the function of testosterone in men and women. Tell me, tho, when you're in public, do you always have a desire to have sex with every average-to-hot guy you see? Lets say aged between 20 and 50. The guy walking down the street, the one in line in front of you. Hell, the teller serving you. And I don't mean a rare occasion. Every. Guy. Every. Fucking. Day. Thats why we treat you so politely/nic…

He's not speaking for women. He's speaking on what objectively is a rational fear for women. Rape and murder are not what I would call rational. Making out that men are high risk is as bigoted as saying black men are high risk. Sure the stats might show that but thats pretty meaningless to an individual interaction. By the same logic for every other demographic, if you use global stats to make individual decisions about certain types of people, you're a bigot. In this case it is misandry.

Might be something to do with you if its all men around you.

Thats more about petulance than sex drive. She was rejected which is a mortal sin against the goddess.

Its not an either/or. Guys love deeply the woman that they really like and guys want all the romantic intimacy with that woman. We also want a lot of gratifying sex.

Thats not normal for a guy. Depression. Anti-depressant medication. Low testosterone. Go see your doctor.

When I was younger I'd happily bang the fugly neighbour coz she was very enthusiastic and generous. Just as long as no one knew I was banging her. Not proud of it but it felt great there's just not really a downside for guys having casual sex. We're hardwired to handle it well. That's probably not fair/equal for women, whatever, its just how we evolved. Plenty of things just are the way they are and not fair.

All else being equal, men have 10x-15x more testosterone than women. Its quite hilarious hearing about women who have accidentally had a high dose of testosterone and them reeling about wanting to fuck EVERYONE around them. Lifelong friends, coworkers, you name it. "Women want sex too..." doesn't even come close to comparing. With much less testosterone, women have MUCH more control over their sex drive. I'm middle aged, depressed and on medication and just had a T test resulting in very low T. …

Women flexing they can get sex is not the flex they think it is. These deranged people judge everyone on body count. Too many for a girl is a slut. Too few for a guy is an incel. No shit guys want sex. We've been hardwired for it. Its a bit reductive compared to what she says about herself. Could be just as reductive and say "women just want men to look after them." Women have been hardwired to keep the father around to protect and provide for their kids. If you really want to talk down to her, …

I would consider it the same as a man jerking off in a work meeting zoom call. Cant see anything going on but if the victims knew, they'd be pissed. The fact that a sex offender clinician spelt predator/predatory wrong twice suggests to me your pants are on fire.

Can confirm I have heard both button (ex wife, often) and panties (gf, long time ago). Just like any man doesnt speak for all of us, you dont speak for all women.

she forced you into it? how? We had well established intentions around children. I had worked really hard to buy us a house and had been supporting her for years while she figured out what to do. We were going to spend a good few years travelling and that was really important to me. Once we were married she just went off the pill of her own choice. #2 was planned coz I didnt want a big gap between kids and a single child is not what I wanted. I was clear that I only wanted 2 kids. I was booked i…

Can confirm that is rewarding. I'm alternate weeks with my children which can be draining. Their mum restricted a lot of the opportunities for bonding when they were little but I got out with 3 kids under 5. It was quite natural figuring out their needs and the parental workload but really hard for me to understand my purpose. Solo parenting work is easy and even boring, in my view, without working a job on top. Keeping the house tidy, grocery shopping, and cooking dinner is a doddle once you're…

Their entitlement. Not obvious from previous comments? The Karen archetype. Men are not generally entitled. Sure some may be arrogant but its not something we teach, condone, and encourage in a systematic way. Men are generally expected to be self-sacrificing, quite the opposite.

Because terrible women exist and everyone seems to condone their behaviour. A better question, why don't you?

My Mum is lovely, actually. She's 76 so from a different generation to the contemporary feminists. If you want some lessons from her on how to be a decent human in society, that can be arranged.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 01:26 AM

Who the fuck says that about rape? Certainly not exemplary. First time I've heard plates. Plates of what? Unless he literally said (he didnt) "I'm owed sex", you need to argue more than 'clearly' to make your point. God, its like talking to a toddler...

How about "Men are trash" ? Objectifying doesnt preclude dehumanisation but it also doesn't require it. Come on, this stuff is stupidly obvious. "I'm clearly right and other commenters agree" isnt an argument.

I could point to where women refer to men as inhuman objects butthen you'd dismiss that for whatever reason. Referring to people as objects is discriptive. Its not necessarily defamatory, especially if the likeness is true. Feeling youre owed sex and being jealous are two completely different things. You know this. You're arguing in bad faith. No, I can't believe you don't know the definition average/mean. Another bad faith argument.

First point has been addressed elsewhere here. First time seeing the oldest teenager comment. I'm stealing that! Second, referenced OP didnt say anything about being owed sex. The girl he was dating fucked someone else. Most people would be upset finding that out and likely end the relationship. Third is a sneaky manipulation of data presentation. If the distribution of female perceived attractiveness of males was normalised with the typical distribution men perceive, the messaging behaviour ove…

Well, thats 30mins of my life I'll never get back. Not searchable but the closest thing I found near the end of Chapter 12 talked about fathers rushing to beat the mother to the court house to file a protection order. In general the book advocates strongly for reporting abuse so I highly doubt you're arguing in good faith. Wait, why am I even engaging in this? Its a manual on how to fuck over fathers. With checklists, no less. No wonder there is such a problem if women are reading bullshit like …

This is the really interesting part of the debate around abortion that seems to be ignored. If the fetus is viable, why does a mother have any right to terminate vs induced prem birth? If she doesnt want it she can hand them over to the father and pay child support. Right now viable means around 26 weeks. With AW it could be as soon as she realises she's pregnant. To me, that's the end of the abortion debate, isn't it?

I guess in the US sperm banks make the batter easy to 'come by'. Where I live sperm donation is a big process and not gauranteed that paternity intentions won't be challenged. Women here baby-trap men the old fashioned way.

TBH I'd love to live in a world without petulant women. We'll have robots for servants anyway. May as well make them dual-function. Before you judge me I'd like to gesture towards your war-chest of female sex toys. How is the ability to have children without women fucking it up part of hedonism? It would be nice to find a sensible mother but they're increasingly rare. Once again, AW fatherhood isn't ideal, but better than this clusterfuck.

I need you to back up your abuse accusation claim. Here in New Zealand we have Family Court. Its an equity court with all the power of a real court but without any standards for evidence or consequences for perjury. Women can make an instant application for custody, the house, furniture, etc "without notice" that can't be challenged until long after the damage is done. Even then fathers face the unwritten bias of the courts at a hearing. Australia and the UK are similar. I didnt say anything abo…

Bring on the artificial wombs and the sex bot servants! Literally no need to put up with feminist entitlement at that point. A world full of males would be quite enjoyable and productive. Guys have a natural instinct to serve a purpose outside of themselves. The space race is back. In every part of the world you would see the consistent drive to optimise and improve. Women, generally, only care about getting their own desires met. A world full of women would be a shit-show. Humanity stagnates an…

As a solo Dad, I'm surprised its not higher. Even during the marriage she's gatekeeping the bonding activities with the kids. Fathers bonds with their children are more complex and become more important as they get older. For me, my wife was the main reason I committed to my family, not the kids. I wish being the stay-at-home was an option for me. So when you split from the wife after years of being called the clumsy incompetent father, and the bond with your kids is weaker than mum's, are you s…
